00:00Plans to regenerate a Merseyside town will move forward following an update on how ÂŁ12 million of funding could be spent.
00:09Proposals include a new community hub, new housing, support for local businesses and improvements to Liscard Town Centre.
00:17At a Wirral Council meeting on 19 January, councillors will be asked to approve the next steps in the Liscard Regeneration Programme.
00:25They are also being asked to authorise the Interim Chief Executive to deliver the projects.
00:31A report to councillors said, alongside the property improvement scheme, the council has identified an opportunity to utilise capital funding to deliver small-scale, wider neighbourhood capital improvements.
