This report focuses on the intensifying political speculation in Karnataka following a brief meeting between Rahul Gandhi and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar at a helipad in Mysuru. The conversation, captured on video, has triggered discussions about Shivakumar’s potential pitch for the Chief Minister’s post, especially as Siddaramaiah has completed a record tenure. The speaker notes that 'D.K. Shivkumar managed to pull aside Rahul Gandhi and have a brief chat with him' after previously struggling to secure an audience with the Congress high command in Delhi. Reporter Nagarjun Dwarakanath provides details on the exchange at the Mysore airport tarmac, suggesting that the AICC may soon summon both Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah to the national capital. The programme explores the potential shifts in the state's leadership dynamics and the high command's next steps in resolving the ongoing 'CM Nataka'.

00:00All right, let's put the focus of what's happening in Karnataka, where once again,
00:10no prices for guessing, it's all about the CM Nataka. Rahul Gandhi briefly touched down
00:17in Karnataka and this picture and this video is what's grabbing eyeballs right now. There
00:22was a brief huddle that took place, you can see there in the helipad between Rahul Gandhi
00:28and DK Shiv Kumar. This video of them seen in a conversation has triggered endless speculation
00:34on exactly what was being spoken of. Was this DK Shiv Kumar making a pitch to Rahul Gandhi
00:39saying, let the high command go ahead and rule in my favour on Chief Minister, on being
00:44the Chief Minister. Remember, Sidra Mayer has already completed that record of being the
00:49longest serving Karnataka Chief Minister. There was speculation that that's what the
00:52Congress high command was waiting for. But DK Shiv Kumar's repeated trips to Delhi didn't
00:57help. The high command didn't really give him an audience. Now, you can see that in
01:02Karnataka, DK Shiv Kumar managed to pull aside Rahul Gandhi and have a brief chat with him.
01:07Nagarjun Dwarakarnath is joining us with more details on this. Naga, this footage, setting
01:12off tanks wagging once again on what's playing out. Was this DK Shiv Kumar making his pitch
01:16to the high command?
01:18Well, in fact, this also raised quite a few eyebrows because on the tarmac of the Mysore airport,
01:23DK Shiv Kumar and Rahul Gandhi briefly exchanged words and in fact spoke to each other. Remember,
01:30DK Shiv Kumar has been wanting to meet Rahul Gandhi for a long time now. Sidra Mayer has
01:34met Rahul Gandhi after the poll debacle that happened in Bihar. He went and met Rahul Gandhi
01:39in 10 Janpath. And DK Shiv Kumar has been waiting. And now, after Rahul Gandhi landed in Mysore,
01:44he went to UTI and came back. DK Shiv Kumar waited in Mysore to have a conversation. And what we are
01:49picking up from our sources is that AICC would call both the leaders very soon to Delhi is what
01:56the conversation was between these two leaders. So, we'll have to wait and watch what will
02:00transpire over the next one week to 10 days if these two leaders officially will get a
02:04summon to Delhi by the Congress high command and what will be the next course of action
02:08will be the big question.
02:10All right. Thanks, Nagar, for joining us with all of those details. Rahul, DK Shiv Kumar,
02:15they're meeting briefly in a helipad in Mysore. It's triggered a lot of conversation of what's
02:21happening. But the Congress high command has confirmed that very soon, both DK Shiv Kumar
02:26and Sidra Mayer will be summoned to Delhi.
