00:11In a Facebook post, Marzouki Mohammad said persistent demands for Muhyiddin to step down

00:21He said that while some parties wanted Muhyiddin to continue leading PN and were entitled to

00:25that view, resigning was also Muhyiddin's right and should be respected.

00:30He also said he was puzzled as to why under the PN constitution, a chairman's resignation

00:35must be approved by the coalition's Supreme Council.

00:39On Saturday, FMT reported that growing unease over the potential rise of past Vice President

00:45Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar as PN chairman had sparked talk of an unexpected return by Muhyiddin.

00:51A PN insider said certain Bersatu leaders were reportedly uncomfortable with the idea

00:56of a party vice president helming the opposition coalition, arguing that PN should be led by

01:01a party president, a convention observed by both Bersa National and Pakatan Harapan.

01:07The source who wished to remain anonymous said this concern might see Bersatu push for its

01:12president Muhyiddin to reclaim the post.
