00:19Welcome to Real Talk. My name is Mark Herman.

00:22We're out here at a shooting range right now on the set of American Sniper, The Last Round.

00:27So my first impression of Jesse and Aaron, I'll kind of do them as a combo.

00:31They're different guys, but they're both very laid-back, kind of soft-spoken when I first met them.

00:37And then as I got to know them a little bit better, you realize they're the kindest guys.

00:41You know, he looked tall in the movies, but he's not that much taller than me.

00:47No, seriously, he's a great guy. You never know with actors who they're gonna be and their personalities.

00:53And I've heard nothing but great things about him, and it was nice to finally meet him

00:57and realize that some of those things are true.

01:00So Aaron's been awesome. I met Aaron for the first time on set here in San Diego,

01:06and he's a great guy, very humble, very down-to-earth.

01:10He's got a little Southern in him, which was interesting.

01:13We kind of related on some things, so that was pretty cool.

01:16Both great actors, both great guys. It's been a pleasure working with him.

01:19So there's a lot of power hitters on this cast.

01:37So if I had a superpower, it would be flying, because then you don't have to deal with this LA traffic.

01:42You know what I mean? It just kind of gets under my skin sometimes.

01:46I just don't believe in that. Mark, do you believe in that?

01:49Believe in what?

01:50LA traffic. I hate it.

01:52You live in LA? This guy doesn't live in LA.

01:54Yes, I do.

01:55This guy lives in Texas.

01:56No.

01:57We had this scene where he was doing it, and the patch wasn't fully covering his eye.

02:00Yeah.

02:01They found out he was a fraud this whole time.

02:02Dude, I'm sorry.

02:03Whoa, dude, come on.

02:05What's your superpower if you had one?

02:07Probably shooting guns, curving the bullets.

02:20You hear that? This is going to be, I'm pretty sure, Vertical's first blanks being shot in a movie.

02:26I don't think I've seen it before.

02:28Nope. You heard it here, folks. First time.

02:30So you better watch.

02:31We're wondering right now if you threw it up in the air and karate chopped it with a hand, wouldn't it break?

02:40Alright, here we go. This could turn badly.

02:43Broke on impact, but not from your chop.

02:49People want to know the secret to acting?

02:51It's fixing your hair right before you shoot.

02:56Hi, Jesse.

02:57So we bring you back in and we're ready.

03:07Alright, this is coming straight from the heart here.

03:10And I just want to say that I love you, Jesse.

03:12And I love working with you. I've had so much fun.

03:15We just wrapped today.

03:17Today was day six of our shoot.

03:20We still have another three days.

03:22Jesse's going to be on for one more of those days?

03:24One more.

03:25Yeah. We lost a few soldiers today.

03:27We've had to say goodbye to Aaron.

03:29We've already said goodbye to Mark Vega.

03:31We've had to say goodbye to a lot of our bros.

03:35It's almost reminiscent of war in a sense.

03:38You're kind of starting to lose your men and it feels like they're gone.

03:41And it feels like we're wrapping up on this war.

03:44We're coming to a close.

03:45That's right.

03:46It's been nice.

03:47Yeah, it's like we're never going to see them again.

03:49But we'll all be here on Tuesday.

03:51Yeah.

03:52So we will see them again.

03:54But right now, it doesn't feel like it.

03:56But I tell you what it feels like.

03:59Yeah.

04:00It feels like the start of a bromance.

04:03So not just any bromance.

04:04A real short bromance.

04:06It's not...

04:07Okay, well...

04:08Look at that scrub.

04:09Beautiful.

04:10I don't think that's how bromances go.

04:11Should we?

04:12No, everyone's been great.

04:14This is really cool for me to work with other male leads.

04:17Normally, I'm the lead in the vertical that I do.

04:21And so I don't really get to meet the other guys.

04:23I'm sure he's used to that, too.

04:24So it's nice being able to kick it in between scenes and get to know each other and know

04:29that the company is in good hands when I'm not on set.

04:32That always makes me feel good.

04:34So, no, it's been great.

04:36Everyone's sweet.

04:37Everyone's down to earth.

04:38It's weird saying like everyone's so sweet.

04:40But like every f***ing guy is so cool.

04:42Like they're all so awesome.

04:43Oh my god, you're so cool, man.

04:45Yeah, except for Aaron.

04:46I don't know about that guy.

04:47No, no, no.

04:48He's the sweetest.

04:49Super down to earth.

04:50Everyone's awesome.

04:51It's been great.

04:52So looking forward to possibly more verticals.

04:55In short, you want to see more verticals with an ensemble.

05:14At a golf resort or something in Palm Springs.

05:15Yeah, and there's like a murder mystery surrounding it.

05:19With a golf ball that hits somebody.

05:20And then they have amnesia and they don't know who did it.

05:23Yeah, the assassin.

05:24This is why we're not driving.

05:25We're actors.

05:26Assassinated.

05:27Assassinated somebody with a golf ball with a driver.

05:30Dude, that would be a crazy assassination.

05:32Assassinated by my step brother's golf ball.

05:35Right.

05:36That's terrible.
