00:25And some words that describe me, I would say, bubbly.
00:27I'm introspective.
00:28Dad, of course.
00:29I'm a writer.
00:30Actor.
00:31Entertainer.
00:32I'm a sister.
00:33Uncle.
00:34A singer.
00:35Humble.
00:36Artist.
00:37Dreamer.
00:38You know, I just am really grateful to be here amongst everyone that I know.
00:41It's truly a blessing.
00:42It's nice to have everyone gathered and just have a safe space to kind of like reconnect.
00:48It was very much like seeing a just room full of celebrities.
00:53For us to actually all be together and spend some quality time getting to catch up, I think
00:58that's great and I wish it happened more.
01:01I just got done talking to Jesse, just did his, and yeah, everyone's having a blast.
01:04When you run your own show, obviously you're like the male lead of your series, so we don't
01:07really get to see each other until there's events like this where you get to interact.
01:10Folks might believe we see each other all the time, but we don't.
01:12We absolutely don't.
01:13But just being around these people is just the most uplifting and soul nourishing thing.
01:18These crazy people and I love them so much.
01:20It's been amazing.
01:21How many verticals I've done this year?
01:23Maybe 10?
01:24It's probably seven or eight.
01:26I don't know.
01:27I didn't keep track of that.
01:29I'm going to say eight.
01:30Ten.
01:31I'm double digits now.
01:32I think I've really only shot seven.
01:34Twelve.
01:35Fifteen this year?
01:36Twelve.
01:37Or thirteen.
01:38Maybe fourteen.
01:39Ten.
01:40Sixteen, seventeen.
01:41Ten or eleven this year.
01:43Eleven.
01:44Somewhere between eight and twelve.
01:45I've done twenty this year.
01:47I think this year my favorite one was To My Romeo With Love that I shot with Kayla Brady.
01:52We always have a good time working together and this was a very emotional script and it was
01:57fun to be able to tell that story.
01:59I would say probably Undercover Prison King.
02:00I got to do a lot of stunts and action and it was totally different than any vertical
02:05I've ever done or any vertical that I've ever seen.
02:07Wings of Fire and that was the coolest show to this day that I've ever shot.
02:11We battled the elements and that was by far my favorite and most memorable project for this year.
02:17Dungeons of Ecstasy.
02:18I got to shoot in Italy.
02:20I can't not say that.
02:21It was so much fun and it was just good cast, good crew, good food.
02:26Best.
02:27It was amazing.
02:28The first one I thought of was the one we recently wrapped for Real Short called Taming My Bullies
02:32and we just had the best, best, best time ever.
02:34It was like the greatest team.
02:36Cam, my co-star, and Laura, the makeup artist, and Jen, the director.
02:39It was just a dream team.
02:41We're all gonna be friends for life.
02:43I remember when I first started doing verticals, I had no idea what they were.
02:46No one knew what they were.
02:47And I just was like, okay, acting job?
02:49Yes, please.
02:50And had the best time.
02:51And it was one of those things where I didn't know what I was getting myself into.
02:54And I think stepping on set and realizing, oh, this is a real set and everybody's here to work and do their jobs was the best surprise.
03:00And here I am still doing it two years later.
03:03I was on the very first vertical.
03:05That's probably the more unique thing about my journey.
03:08And I remember I turned to my co-star and I was like, if I did this the rest of my life, I think I'd be happy.
03:14I got the booking for Billionaire Baby Bargain.
03:16And I was like, what is this?
03:18Hold on a second.
03:19It was totally new.
03:20And then I showed up on set and I was like, these guys are gonna take over the world.
03:23Through teaching tennis, I met someone who's friends with someone who works at Real Short.
03:28And after a few months of playing with them, they said, hey, you should audition for my friend, you know?
03:34So I sent my tape in and that was it.
03:39I met Erica. She's my agent at Real Short and she met me when I was working at a meal prep company.
03:45And she had walked in there and I was working there and she's like, you should come work at Real Short too.
03:48And I was like, all right.
03:49My first ever vertical I was on, I was backgrounding a Real Short vertical that Rebecca was starring in.
03:57And it was very sweet because I almost like looked up to her.
04:00I was like, oh my gosh, this girl isn't so many.
04:03But I sat there as a background watching her get married.
04:06And, you know, it was just so sweet and beautiful to like be working with her now.
04:10I got an offer for a show, gosh, two years ago now.
04:15And it was a little bit more risque in nature.
04:20I was reading through the script and it wasn't something at the time that I felt like I could really do and make it look authentic and real.
04:25And so I told them I couldn't take it.
04:28And they were so good to me and so sweet and literally were like, not a problem at all.
04:34We have another script that's more, you know, PG-13.
04:38I was part of like kind of the first wave of people that started doing these verticals.
04:42Luckily, I got put on a Real Short production.
04:44That's when I was like, okay, yeah, like I can, I can do a Real Short.
04:47To see where they were and to where they are now, like, it's absolutely mind blowing how far they've come in just two years.
04:54And it's crazy to think where they'll be two years from now.
04:57I was at USC and my agent sent me this thing and I didn't know what it was.
05:02So I went and I talked to a lot of people who had already been in a few verticals at that point.
05:07So they were kind of helping me through, explaining it to me.
05:09And then it just kept going.
05:11You know, I did my first vertical not knowing it was a vertical.
05:15It was labeled as a web series on one of the acting sites.
05:18And I showed up and the cameras were sideways and I was like, sick.
05:21What are we doing here?
05:22And then they explained it and I was like, that's actually incredible.
05:24Let's do it.
05:25I was cast in my very first one, which was called You Fired a Tech Genius.
05:30And when I spoke to the head of production and she offered me the lead role, this changed my life.
05:38Is there anyone here that you would like to work with that maybe you haven't worked with before?
05:43Oh, I want to work with Rebecca.
05:46I don't think we've done a project together and she's such a sweetheart and she's so cute.
05:50I definitely, I would want to do a project with her.
05:52I've been interviewing a couple now and most of them have said they want to work with you.
05:57Oh, oh my God.
05:59I feel I've worked with everybody here, but I will say I would absolutely love to do one with like Meg and Sarah and Haley and
06:07like all the girls.
06:08Like if we could get like a girls one together, that would be so fun.
06:12That's what we need to do.
06:13Can I say the girls?
06:14I want to work with Meg and Haley so bad.
06:17I want to work with all the girls.
06:18I really want to work with Meg and Haley though.
06:19I just met Richard for the first time.
06:21I've seen his face before, but I've never like actually talked to him.
06:24So that could be cool.
06:25Honestly, anyone would be nice.
06:26Actually, I saw Chris.
06:27I haven't worked with him.
06:28I don't know much about him actually, but someone recently asked me if I've worked with him before.
06:33And I said, no, and they were like, you should.
06:35There's a handful of people here.
06:37I think I have not worked with Chris.
06:39I think that'd be really fun to work with him.
06:41I haven't worked with Jesse yet or Richard.
06:44I haven't worked with either of them.
06:45That would be cool.
06:46I have not worked with any of the other male leads.
06:48So I would love to do one with one of the other male leads like Mark, Richard, Jesse, Chris, any of the boys.
06:56Like I would love to shoot one with one of them.
06:59Because I see Seth all the time and we're friends.
07:02I think it'd be really fun if we played brothers in a vertical.
07:07I think that'd be a lot of fun.
07:08I think that's one of the really cool things about when I got to do American Sniper is we had a cast full of like leading men.
07:14And that never happens.
07:15Like I don't normally get to work with like the other leading men in the vertical space.
07:18Who was on the list today?
07:20And well, just not all of them.
07:22Verticals have done so much for me.
07:24I obviously some of them are campy and silly, but really what they've done for me.
07:29I'm a very visual learner.
07:30And for my acting, for example, people that aren't in the industry might not know, but when you film a feature film or you're filming in a television show, you film it and it doesn't come out for years sometimes.
07:41And so by the time you get the chance to watch it and critique your acting ability and learn from it, it's two years down the line.
07:48You fix most of those things that you that you're watching and you're like, oh, that's not working.
07:52But with verticals, the good thing about it is it's it's like a boot camp.
07:56You're on all the time.
07:57You're in every scene.
07:58You get the chance to develop these characters and take them one way or another.
08:01And then you get to see it within two months.
08:04So you know exactly where you're at in your acting ability.
08:06It completely changed it.
08:07I was in a place during the the writer's strike was going on and I had no I was no work going on.
08:13My agency went bankrupt.
08:15And then I was just working these constantly.
08:18And these I feel like a lot of actors have kept them afloat when they wouldn't normally have been able to because it's just so slow.
08:24It feels like.
08:25And I think I've just gained a lot of good experience with being in front of the camera and good experience with turning around scripts really quickly because we move really fast.
08:35And I guess I've gotten a great amount of exposure and I've gained people that like watching me, which is which is great.
08:42It's been an overall very grateful experience and I hope it keeps going.
08:47What are your goals for 2026?
08:50I don't know.
08:51I got to get through this year.
08:53I think just keep working and take the projects that really inspire me, make time for friends and be better about planning out those little breaks where I get to feel me and embrace my hobby.
09:04And remember the things that I love and therefore who I am at my core.
09:09Prioritize my health a little more.
09:11Get back into Taekwondo and work on more exciting projects that make me happy.
09:17I want to continue to be a greater walk of masculinity.
09:21I want to continue to be a man that's trustworthy, who's strong but kind, who's a good leader but not because he demands to be and continues to serve other people.
09:32I definitely want like a mixture of both.
09:35I want to ground myself more, but I also want to work on way more projects, meet new people and just continue doing what I love.
09:43But I also want to make sure that I make time for myself.
09:46Kind of try out some different roles than what y'all are used to.
09:49Definitely, you know, something edgier, a little more fun.
09:52Wink wink.
09:53Dare I save Ellen?
09:54I don't know.
09:55My goal is honestly to keep working.
09:58So I'm hoping, which it's looking good.
10:00I'm hoping to do at least one project a month in 2026.
10:03That would be amazing.
10:04And to just, and to travel somewhere.
10:06I want to travel somewhere I've never been before.
10:08Those are my two main goals.
10:10I think we can like branch out and start doing all the other crazy, you know, genres would be fun.
10:14I'd love, I'd love to do like a Jack Reacher, James Bond kind of version and stuff.
10:18You're taken for instance, I would love to actually take the action and mix it with my dad kind of like, you know, CEO dad thing is like, they got my daughter.
10:26I'm coming for you with my unique set of skills.
10:28I'm writing a short right now.
10:29It's like my, I did a few in college, but this is the first time post college, which is much harder because no one's forcing you to do anything.
10:37So I'm doing that.
10:38And it's kind of like a passion project.
10:41I see myself in a new place.
10:43I'm planning a move in 2026, which can be a little bit hard when you're working in.
10:47This kind of industry when you just take what comes up, but I'm very excited.
10:53Moving feels almost like a reset.
10:55Like we're starting new at the beginning of the year.
10:58And I hope that just brings like even more like bright ideas, whether it comes to social media.
11:05Outside of verticals, really, I'm very excited for this cartoon to come out because that is just something so, so unexpected.
11:14I think from what fans will see as far as verticals like to find a home with real short.
11:22It's such a rare thing.
11:24I plan on staying with this family for as long as possible and keep working and keep making people happy.
11:34I just want to say thank you all for supporting me and the rest of us here at Real Short.
11:42We couldn't do this without you guys.
11:44Thank you so much. It's thanks to you guys that I get to chase this dream. So thank you.
11:47Thank you guys for watching. Thank you for supporting.
11:49And I hope to keep bringing some fun new content.
11:53And I just, I love all of you. Thank you for interacting with me and supporting me.
11:58And I could go on and on and on, but I love you guys.
12:00I love you guys.
12:30Happy Holidays!
