00:00For God so loved. As we've been reminded this week, believing in God the Father Almighty,
00:13Creator of heaven and earth is a foundational piece of our beliefs as followers of Jesus.
00:19In our affirmation of this statement, we acknowledge that there is a divine Creator
00:24who is above all things. He is also in all things. This Father Almighty loves us, guides us,
00:31protects us, and disciplines us in all the best and perfect ways. As Creator of heaven and earth,
00:39all things came to be by God's will and commands. We can put our hope in Him. It doesn't stop here.
00:46In fact, this is just the beginning. God showed His unending love for us when He sent His only
00:52Son Jesus to die on the cross so that we might have everlasting life. God gave us the greatest
00:59gift of all through His Son's pain and suffering. As we continue to study what the Creed means to us
01:05as believers, we'll spend the next week focusing on Jesus. This is how God showed His love among us.
01:13He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him.
