00:00but we have the most coaching turmoil and turnover that we've ever seen in the history of the NFL
00:06in one offseason, and it continued today. The Miami Dolphins, according to ESPN, have fired
00:14their head coach, Mike McDaniel, who had a winning record as head coach of the Dolphins and also met
00:20with the media earlier this week to talk about next season. How about that? So the owner of the
00:25Dolphins, Stephen Ross, met with McDaniel, apparently, to discuss the season, and after the
00:30meeting, Ross decided to move on. That's what the Dolphins are saying, but is this correlated to
00:36John Harbaugh being available, still TBD? According to reports, Miami will have a new general manager
00:43in place later this week, so could this mean a Harbaugh hiring in Miami? Again, a lot of openings,
00:51New York, Atlanta, many other places available. Just have to wait and see. The rumors are now
00:58complete. Trey Young is traded. The Atlanta Hawks are deciding to move on, and they've acquired CJ
01:05McCullough and Corey Kispert in return. Trey Young, now the future in Washington, as the Hawks attempt
01:13some sort of reset or rebuild. The perennial all-star will try to get his career back going. He's had a
01:19lot of injuries, to say the least, this season, but Young is expected to be back in a uniform in the
01:25NBA sometime before the all-star break. Meanwhile, three suspects have been arrested in connection
01:31with a burglary that took place at the home of Cleveland Browns quarterback Shadur Sanders back
01:35in November. The sheriff's office said Wednesday the fourth subject is at large with an active warrant
01:40for his arrest. The sheriff said approximately $200,000 in property was stolen from Sanders' home. More legalese
01:48in the National Football League as it pertains to a wide receiver where right now the story does not seem
01:55good optic-wise. Of course, you've got to let these things play out, but already in trouble and had a
01:59suspension once, Rasheed Rice with a now more serious allegation. The Chiefs are aware of a social media post,
02:05allegations made by Rasheed Rice's ex-girlfriend named Dakota Nicole Jones. She posted on Instagram
02:12bruises and wounds, alleging domestic violence. As of right now, she has yet to file a police report.
02:20The Chiefs are obviously going to keep a close eye on this. Certainly the future of Rice playing with the
02:25Chiefs would be in serious doubt if these things do come to fruition. Meanwhile, Todd Bowles will be back
02:30as their head coach in 2026, Tampa Bay. One team not making that move, although they did fire
02:36their offensive coordinator, so Bowles will have to find his third offensive coordinator in three years.
02:41Of course, Liam Cohen was with Tampa Bay now in the playoffs with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Also,
02:46the Saints say they're committed to Tyler Shuck as their starting quarterback in 2026.
02:51See if that does hold when the NFL draft happens in a couple of months. As I mentioned tonight,
02:57it's the semi-final college football playoff. This is where I thought we would begin the show today,
03:01but we waited six minutes to get to it with some other news. Miami three and a half point favorites
03:05over Ole Miss. Total 52 and a half, 7.30 p.m. Eastern. Semi-final tonight, semi-final tomorrow
03:12night, and then the championship in Miami coming up in less than 10 days. In the NBA last night,
03:17the Spurs beat the Lakers 107 to 91. They were eight and a half point favorites. Wemby had 16 points in 26
03:24minutes. He's been on limited minutes since he came back. Luka turned the ball over seven times
03:30in this one. He had 38 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists. Yes, that's a triple-double, but as
03:36Stephon Castle put it after the game, a big win for his Spurs over the Lakers.
03:42I wouldn't say really for this specific game, but I feel like we just talked as a team to try and fix
03:49our third quarters, try and come out with a lot more energy. So we were kind of just focused on that
03:53and then letting the game flow. And I mean, when we just had our mind, focus on the right things,
04:00you know, things just went well for us. I'll coach that level of spirit and toughness and fight and
04:08togetherness and connectedness, all that stuff. It was fantastic. You know, we did a lot of really
04:16good things. And frankly, the last six games outside of maybe a quarter and a half against Detroit
04:21have been really good and they've all been shorthanded. And this is how we're going to have
04:25to win. And this is how we're going to have to compete and be in games right now. It's just the
04:29reality. And the group has embraced that. And yeah, I'll go to battle with them.
04:36Oklahoma City, meanwhile, 20-point favorites last night against the Utah Jazz, almost lost. It would
04:41have been the biggest upset in the NBA this season. But Shea Gilgis-Alexander made a shot at the
04:46buzzer to send it to overtime. He ended up having 46 points in this one, 129-125. Chet Holmgren on
04:54the growth of a close call for his thunder. Yeah, obviously that's a taxing game.
05:04But just continuing to give whatever is left in the tank out there
05:09wasn't pretty for a lot of the game. You know, I definitely don't think
05:17things flowed great at times. But at the end of the day, sometimes you got to win ugly.
05:30I'm really proud of our team. That was a high-level game. On the road,
05:37at the end of a long trip. And I think that
05:41I told the team that
05:44that is competing at the highest level.
05:50Right now, the New York Knicks can take any win that they could get,
05:53even if it's against the Clippers, who, by the way, had been hot. Carl Anthony Towns and
05:57Jalen Brunson, 46 points combined in this one.
06:01New York beats LA 123-111.
06:04Nikola Jokic didn't play again, of course, for the Nuggets,
06:07but hey, they won again, too. Playing well without them.
06:09114-110. Boston, 9.5-point favorites. Jamal Murray was the story in this one. He had 22 points
06:15and 17 assists. In college basketball, a big overtime win last night for UConn.
06:21They beat Providence 103-98. They did not cover the spread in this one.
06:27Silas Demary had 24 points and 15 assists in the win. Conference play, always big to get a win,
06:35according to head coach Dan Hurley.
06:37We usually don't win games like that, you know.
06:39So, I mean, just, you know, big credit to just how these guys are playing.
06:45I mean, I think, you know, I think PC, you know,
06:49it's just got the makings, I think, of a team that is just kind of starting to put it together.
06:55You know, obviously, their quality showed, you know, even watching them in the Florida game,
07:04you know, their stretches of that game where they were, you know, able to play, you know,
07:09with one of the best teams in the country, you know, talent to talent.
07:13And then, obviously, their game at St. John's.
07:14And, you know, their performance tonight, you know, we obviously, we stole this one, you know,
07:19but we stole it by showing, I think, that, you know, the, you know, the championship culture.
07:25And, you know, obviously, Silas Demary was amazing.
07:28And Alex was amazing.
07:29And, and Taris, the second half.
07:31And then Braylon Mullins.
07:33Yeah, that's Braylon Mullins.
07:36Arkansas beats Ole Miss last night in the SEC, 94-87.
07:41The Razorbacks off to a great score.
07:44John Calipari, 12-3 on the season.
07:47An undefeated 2-0 in SEC play.
07:50Iowa State, four and a half point favorites on the road against Baylor.
07:53It was a close one.
07:54But the Cyclones cover the spread.
07:5670-60 the final.
07:58Joshua Jefferson of Iowa State had 19 points and 17 rebounds.
08:04ISU also with a 17-2 run to open up the second half.
