00:00A wonderful Thursday evening to all on the eve of the Feast of El Nazareno.

00:05Yours truly, Ice Martinez here and glad to bring you PTV News Now.

00:10We begin tonight's stories and rightfully so with Tres Lashon 2026.

00:14The main highlight of tomorrow's Feast of the Black Nazarene is the nearly day-long procession of the iconic image

00:20from the Quirino Grandstand to its home in Quiapo Church.

00:23And anywhere between a million to three million devotees, participants and onlookers

00:28will descend all along the procession route beginning at the crack of dawn tomorrow till evening.

00:34Frankly, just to get a glimpse of the image from afar could get testy, rowdy and rough.

00:39Hence the depth of health, Metro Manila Health Center development reminds devotees or participants

00:44joining or witnessing tomorrow's procession and to prioritize safety for a peaceful and orderly celebration.

00:51Besides putting 20 hospitals in the NCR on standby all throughout tomorrow's festivities,

00:56health emergency response teams have been pre-positioned in key locations such as

01:02Quirino Grandstand, Rizal Park, the National Museum, SM Manila, Quinta Market, Ayala Bridge,

01:08San Sebastian Church Grounds, MLQU Campus and various locations in Quiapo.

01:14The public is urged to call for assistance in the event of any emergency through the MMCHD Operations Center number

01:21or by calling the National Emergency Hotline 9-1-1.

01:27By now we know full well US President Donald Trump is one hell of a transactional head of state for starters.

01:35There's his global tariff policy which has raised taxes on exported products to the United States

01:40from just about every country on the planet since April last year.

01:44Then his latest move to uncouple or detached from unprofitable activities or associations internationally.

01:52His administrations pull out from working with or force 66 international organizations, commissions and or agreements,

02:01nearly half of which are linked or affiliated with the United Nations.

02:05Institutions like the Department of Economic and Social Affairs, International Law Commission,

02:11International Trade Center, UN Entity on Gender Equity and the Empowerment of Women,

02:17UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the UN Conference on Trade and Development or UNCTAD to name a few.

02:25Many of the five and a half dozen international entities,

02:28the U.S. is cutting ties with focus their work on climate change, migration, labor, diversity and other initiatives

02:36the Trump administration consider as woke and or wasteful partnerships with little or nothing maternal to benefit from.
