00:00To ensure smooth traffic flow and the safety of travelers during the holy week,
00:04the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, or MMDA, is set to deploy
00:09more than 2,000 personnel and nearly 500 vehicles to major bus terminals,
00:14seaports, and airports as part of Oflan Metro Alalai Simana Santa.
00:18The MMDA will enforce a no-day-off, no-absent policy for its personnel on April 16, 17, and 21
00:26to maximize manpower on the ground. Tow trucks will also be on standby along major roads to
00:32assist motorists with vehicle breakdowns, while ambulances will be stationed at key
00:37provincial bus terminals to provide immediate medical assistance to passengers in need.
00:42Meanwhile, provincial buses will be allowed to pass through EDSA
00:45from April 9 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. from April 16 to 20.
