Cookery series with Big Cook Ben and foot-high Little Cook Small. Small is trying to surprise Ben by making him a picture of them both to put on the wall. Unfortunately his picture isn't very good. Ben arrives with a parcel - they've won a competition and the prize is a camera each. Phil the Photographer arrives and Ben and Small make him a Fishcake Camera. Phil the Photographer leaves them a lovely picture of them both to hang on the wall.

03:16one day i was out for a stroll when i passed a church with the bells ringing
03:23there was a wedding and the bride and groom and all the guests had gathered outside to have their
03:29photo taken i stopped to watch as phil the photographer got them all together
03:35in a bit and a bit more and yep just a little bit more he said waving them closer together
03:42until they were all in the picture at last he was happy and pressed the button but guess what
03:49the moment the flash went off a balloon blew by and two of the children forgot what they were
03:57supposed to be doing and ran off after it no no no phil cried that won't do at all i need you all in
04:06the picture then he waved them back together until he was happy again and pressed the button but just as
04:14a flash went off a helicopter flew over and all the guests looked up to see what was going on
04:19oh poor phil he couldn't keep the guests still phil the photographer was looking very sad
04:27then i had an idea phil needed something to make everybody keep looking at the camera
04:34and i knew just the thing
04:36i decided to do one of my famous dances i stood on the camera and danced away and when phil took his
04:45photo all the wedding guests were looking straight at the camera the photograph was perfect
04:52thank you little cook i say that's the best wedding photograph i've ever taken
04:56said phil little cook to the rescue once again that was a great adventure oh oh well done small oh i'd

07:08well here we are brilliant here we go small everything we need for the recipe fish cakes sound yummy but i've never made them before so i must find out how it's done good idea little cook and while you're away i'll get everything ready brilliant see you later

07:43i'm at the harbor by the sea there's a fishing boat the fishermen have sailed out to sea to catch some fish and they're coming into harbor
07:57these crates are full of fish they've caught wow look at all the fish
08:06this lady is going to make some fish cakes
08:10there's the fish
08:13hey hey that's mashed potato going into the mixer
08:17what's next
08:19lemon juice
08:21in it goes
08:23and that's spring onions all chopped up
08:27now for the most important ingredient
08:29the fish
08:31fish
08:34turn the mixer on time to mix all the ingredients together
08:44the mixture is pressed into a mold
08:48oh that's clever it comes out round
08:52the fish cakes are brushed with egg
08:54and then covered with bread crumbs the egg helps the bread crumbs stick to the fish cake
09:01one delicious fish cake
09:06and now it's been cooked it's ready to eat

09:18i'd better get back to the cafe and tell ben

10:27when your tummy gets all rumbly you're ready for a treat
10:33you can make something delicious to eat
10:43have you cleaned the surfaces yes have you washed your hands
10:46yes all clean and ready to cook
10:50do you remember the ingredients to fish cake camera
10:53you do there were potatoes 300 grams cubed
10:59onion half sliced cucumber two slices
11:03iceberg lettuce two leaves shredded cherry tomatoes one
11:08lemon half to squeeze tuna 200 grams whole meal bread
11:14two slices into crumbs whole milk bread roll one
11:19and some oil one tablespoon
11:22whoopee let's get started
11:25okay let's turn on the oven to 200 degrees celsius
11:29gas mark six now remember the oven is hot hot hot so that's a job for your grown-up
11:35helper to do and so is this
11:37we're going to bowl the potatoes for about 15 minutes until they're nice and soft and while
11:43they're boiling away we're going to fry the onions in the oil until they're nice and soft as well
11:53cheese what oh no there's no cheese in this recipe small there's no what cheese
12:01oh i'm getting better at this ben look
12:08well i haven't got time for that now small i've got cooking to do and besides the flash always makes
12:14me go a bit funny okay
12:17okay
12:21now where was i oh yes okay uh the potatoes and the onions are cooked now and i've drained the potatoes
12:27through a colander so i'm going to pour them into a bowl like that and then add the onions
12:36there we go and then we're gonna mash them both together
12:47mash them all up and mix them in together oh this smells great
12:54people take pictures of lots of different things like their homes and their pets and their holidays
13:00and their friends like my friend ben
13:06there we are
13:11and once it's all mashed leave it to cool for a while
13:16i'm going to take my camera on holiday with me so i can keep all the funny memories of ben
13:21now once the onion and potato is cooled we can add the drained tuna and most of the breadcrumbs
13:30and make sure you leave a few breadcrumbs aside for later and then we're going to give them a good
13:40stir until it's all mixed up
13:45it's brilliant you can take pictures of anything have a look at these i think i need more practice
13:52now grease a baking tray with a little oil small could you do that for me i'd love to ben great and
14:02i'll start to make the fish cakes so i'm going to roll the mixture into a round shape in my nice clean hands
14:10and then i'm going to roll it in the breadcrumbs like this
14:15there doesn't that look delicious
14:23slidey glidey oil is slippery
14:28have you finished greaching that baking tray yet small oh yes it's ready ben

14:33small onto the tray
14:39oh yes don't they look tasty

14:47small i told you i didn't like the flash that wasn't me ben really how strange
14:55now once the fish cakes are done we need to pop them into the oven so oven gloves on
15:00and over we go open up the oven
15:08and in they go
15:12now they need to go in for 10 minutes until they're nice and golden and that's a job for your grown-up
15:16helper to do i'll set the timer for 10 minutes on to the next job put one half of the bread roll
15:25onto a plate like this and then lay some of the shredded lettuce on top

15:48i wish i could get a picture of both of us though ben
15:51oh yes that would be nice but how could we do that i don't know
16:00the fish cakes are cooked and cooled now now we only need one for phil so we can eat the rest later
16:06hmm they smell delicious oh they certainly do right i'm going to pop one of the fish cakes
16:15on there just on top of the lettuce and then i'm going to take a slice of cucumber and put it on top as
16:21the lens then i'll take another piece of cucumber that i've cut into a square and pop it there as the viewfinder
16:30that's the bit you look through and then i can just take half of the cherry tomato
16:35and pop it there at the top as the button and we'll just squeeze some lemon juice over the top
16:42to make it even more tasty and there it is perfect
16:50one fish cake camera coming through
16:52there all done so what do we do now can we play not yet time to clean and put away hooray
17:13wash wipe scrub and clean make the kitchen sparkle and glean
17:17my name's ben and my name's small we've got the cleanest kitchen of all
17:28tidy all the bits and pop the things that help us do our job ingredients we'll put away ready for
17:34use another day pots and pans we'll start to smell if we don't wash them really well and now it's clear
17:40let's all smile we'll be finished in a little while all around up and down we've got the clean
17:47cleanest cafe in town
17:58aha here comes the plate oh it looks like phil loved his fish cake camera small look he's left a note
