00:00I think it's fair to criticize him.
00:01I don't think you can overreact to it.
00:03I think there's been some overreaction, particularly on Sunday nights, which I understand.
00:07Like, everyone that is in the tank crowd, it sounds great until you're watching your
00:12team lose 35-3 at halftime, you know?
00:16And that's what tanking looks like.
00:17It's Brady Cook is playing quarterback.
00:19Brady Cook should not be playing quarterback.
00:20I think it's fair to criticize him.
00:22It's still his team, and it's still going next to his knee.
00:24I've heard this premise, I think, to the Badlands guys say the year zero thing.
00:28I've heard that from them.
00:29I don't buy into that at all because I think, you know, next year, if he starts 0-3, we're
00:35going to be, oh, he's 3-17 as the head coach.
00:36No one's going to say, I don't, but 2025 didn't count.
00:39That was year zero.
00:41Like, it counts.
00:42So, but I think you have to put it into context.
00:44I don't think we can, firing him because they lost 42-10 to New England, no.
00:49Like, that's, like, the decision whether to fire him or not was made in October.
00:54Yeah.
00:55After 0-7, it was when they traded Sauce and Quinn, and they said, all right, we're sticking
00:58with this guy.
00:59We're going to push to the future.
01:02We're looking to the future.
01:03You're our guy.
01:04Mugi's the guy.
01:05You're coming back.
01:05So, there was a shift there.
01:08And, yeah, since, I'd say, since the Miami game, you know, it's just been, it's been a
01:15different season.
01:16Listen, the Jets made an organizational move to basically tank after they traded Quinn and
01:23Sauce.
01:24They made a move to say, we'll see what happens in the next couple games, but this isn't a
01:29competitive product this year.
01:30We're going to look into the future, obviously.
01:33The thing, though, that's alarming, see, you can have two things happening at once and two
01:38conversations at the same time.
01:39You can be rooting for the tank and losses and also be critical of the coach and the schemes
01:46that are happening on Sunday.
01:48If you look at Jacksonville, Trevor Lawrence was on pace to have eight touchdowns, nine touchdowns.
01:53Yeah.
01:54And they took him out.
01:56Drake May, the same thing, was on pace to have six or seven touchdowns.
01:59Seven touchdowns total for a quarterback, by the way, would tie the NFL record.
02:03You had two quarterbacks in the last couple of weeks that were on pace to break that record.
02:09That's what's alarming to me is, like, you got this guy, Chris Harris, out there to, you know,
02:14for dead, basically.
02:16Step in.
02:16Help him out.
02:17I don't know.
02:18What the hell are you doing over there?
02:20That's fair.
02:21Yeah.
02:21Because, I mean, we've seen so many bad seasons, guys.
02:23And, like, we've never seen this.
