Who to face in the playoffs: Jaguars or Patriots?

Joe DiBiase explains who he'd rather see the Buffalo Bills face between the Jaguars and Patriots in playoffs.

00:00Rushing DVOA on the season, Jacksonville finds themselves ranked at 20th in the NFL.

00:09And New England 27th. Big gap, though.

00:13You know, like, New England is 27th, but their number is almost twice as bad.

00:17Actually, it's more than twice as bad, is where the Jags are.

00:20So, rushing offense, not a big advantage on either side.

00:26But Jacksonville definitely better than New England.

00:29And then on the defensive side of the football, how good these two teams are against the pass,

00:36which the Bills have their struggles in, right now, on the year, Jacksonville, the 9th best by DVOA,

00:449th best pass defense in the NFL, and New England 26th.

00:51Rush defense, Jacksonville is the 4th best rush defense, and New England 21st.

00:59It's just night and day.

01:03One team is far and away a better overall football team.

01:08New England had the schedule.

01:09New England probably, to me, has the better quarterback.

01:13I've seen enough of Trevor Lawrence to know that he's not a perfect quarterback.

01:16He misses some throws he should make.

01:17He does make some special ones.

01:19But I think he's being helped out a lot by his coach and his receiving core.

01:24May's great.

01:25But May doesn't have the receivers right now.

01:28He doesn't have the healthiest line.

01:31He doesn't have the run game.

01:33And he doesn't have the defense.

01:35He has the easy schedule.

01:37And I think that is a big reason why they're above Jacksonville in the standings.

01:40I don't think it's close.

01:41I think you want to play the Patriots in round one.

01:45Weak rush defense.

01:46Weak pass defense.

01:48Weak rushing attack.

01:51And you have a Bills defense that I would say right now, the thing they do best is limit other teams' quarterbacks.

02:00And they just did it to New England.

02:03Now, New England got up 21-0 on them.

02:05And they had some big plays.

02:07But those plays were on the ground.

02:09And one of them was a play that should have never happened.

02:12It was just somebody lost a contain.
