16:51Yeah, I like that you say young D. Wade.
16:54Yes.
16:54A lot of people like to look at it as totality.
16:59But very early, I understand, when I came into the league
17:02and staying with my head coach, you know, I just attacked.
17:06And if I didn't know anything, I knew how to be aggressive.
17:09And when I look at VJ, I see that he's a very aggressive player.
17:12When he gets his opportunities in transition, he's downhill.
17:16When he gets his opportunity, and I'm swing, swing, swing,
17:18and he catches the defense, you know, kind of looking or not ready,
17:21he's downhill.
17:22He's going right by him.
17:23And so, very similar to me where, you know, just get to the money.
17:27Get to the bucket.
17:27Don't do too much.
17:29Well, Dwayne, one of the things I've really noticed as a similarity
17:32that maybe you can talk about is just the maturity and the poise as a rookie.
17:39I mean, you didn't play like a rookie.
17:41VJ Edgecombe doesn't play like a rookie, even in tight situations in close games.
17:47That maturity is the similarity I see.
17:52I agree.
17:53I think the one thing that helps that coach is the individuals that you get,
17:57you know, you in the locker room with, that you're around every day.
18:00You know, when I look at VJ and I look at him having Tyrese Maxey,
18:03that right there is something that you just, you know, you can't,
18:07you don't know how that's going to be until you see how he looks at him.
18:10You see how he see a guy that put that work in, and he wants to be like that.
18:14You see the success that he's having.
18:16And so when I came in, I had veteran guys that I looked at, Eddie Jones, Lamar Odom.
18:20I wanted to get to where these guys were.
18:22And so having that veteran leadership, you know, someone that is young,
18:25but that you look up to, you admire,
18:27it allows you to focus on what you need to focus on,
18:30and that's just getting better and not all the other conversations.
