00:17said on Thursday that two statements had been recorded so far regarding the probe.
00:22He said their investigation focused on Section 468 of the Penal Code involving forgery
00:29with the purpose of cheating.
00:31On Wednesday, the Football Association of Malaysia said it had lodged a police report over the allegations.
00:37They said this is in line with the recommendation of the Independent Investigation Committee
00:41chaired by former Chief Justice Tun Madraus Sharif.
00:45They said they are committed to fully cooperating with the police and respect the ongoing legal process.
00:50In September, FIFA sanctioned FAM and suspended the seven players for a year for breaching eligibility rules.
00:57They said the probe revealed that FAM had helped forge documents to enable the players to represent the national team.
