NRD did not fake documents in footballers’ applications, says Saifuddin

There was no falsification of documents detected by the National Registration Department (NRD) in the controversy involving seven “mixed-heritage” footballers playing for Harimau Malaya, says Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.  Addressing FIFA’s claims on the matter, the Home Minister said only one document is needed under government procedure, namely the birth certificate.
