00:00Oh, my God.
00:02Here we go.
00:04Here we go.
00:06Here we go.
00:08Here we go.
00:10Okay.
00:12Oh, what do we got?
00:14Michael Jordan.
00:16Oh, my.
00:18Can I pick it up?
00:20Of course. Look at this.
00:22Look at that on-card auto,
00:24hand-numbered one of one.
00:26I always love that. That's a huge sell point for me.
00:28This was pulled
00:30in the old school
00:32Japanese card shop.
00:34The clock is ticking.
00:36If we don't hit this goal for 10,
00:38it is gonna be bad news.
00:40It's do or die here. I need 2 million
00:42or else I don't get on that plane.
00:44So is this one coming to Golden?
00:50Of course. Of course.
00:52I love that answer.
00:54That's a fantastic answer.
00:56Two for one. Another?
00:58Another Michael Jordan.
01:00Another Michael Jordan.
01:02Oh, my God.
01:04This is huge.
01:062005 exquisite collection.
01:08Limited logos.
01:10Number to 50.
01:12The 9.5 grade is impossible on these.
01:14I mean, we're talking 100,000 plus right there.
01:16So that's a massive card.
01:18I feel like the items you bring us and Golden
01:20just keep getting better and better.
01:22So again, thank you so much as always.
01:24It's amazing to work with you guys.
01:28Every time we work with you guys,
01:30every single card, every little item,
01:32a customer on our side
01:34has got a giant smile on his face.
01:36Or her face. Yeah.
01:38Shall we?
01:40I'm leaving Japan knowing I did exactly what I wanted to do.
01:46I wanted to strengthen that already tight-knit partnership
01:49that I have with some of the best people from around the world.
01:52Struggling with the chopsticks.
01:54My chopstick game is an absolute disaster.
01:57I'll finish eating next week.
01:59Konnichiwa.
02:00Konnichiwa.
02:01Uh, fork?
02:02Fork.
02:03Oh, fork?
02:04Yeah, fork.
02:05Fork.
02:06Fork.
02:07Perfect. Thank you so much.
02:26I figured we'd have a typical Tokyo night,
02:29so we got a little spot picked out for us.
02:30Wow, look at this view.
02:31Oh, my God.
02:32Look at the view.
02:33Is this view amazing, right?
02:34Holy moly.
02:35This is crazy.
02:36You look straight down.
02:37You might get a little scared.
02:38This is unbelievable.
02:39Wow.
02:40We came to Japan with a job to do, right?
02:43Well, guess what?
02:44We consigned over two million.
02:46We've kicked some ass in Asia.
02:49Think about it.
02:50People are gonna think of us not only number one in North America,
02:53but number one in Asia.
02:55Looking out and seeing everything we've done over the last week,
02:58we've reached our goal.
03:00Being on the front lines of that is just...
03:02there's nothing better.
03:03This is the first global trip we took together,
03:06but it's not gonna be the last, okay?
03:08Yeah, let's go.
03:09So let's...
03:10Let's go.
03:11Come on, please.
03:12Number one in the world.
03:13And again, on our way to Rebellion.
03:15Rebellion is the goal.
03:16Come on.
03:17Carly.
03:18I got some really, really cool Star Wars stuff,
03:19and I set it all up for you.
03:20Yeah.
03:21Go step on this so you can see it.
03:22What do you see?
03:23R2-D2.
03:24R2-D2.
03:25R2-D2.
03:26R2-D2.
03:27R2-D2.
03:28I got some really cool Star Wars stuff,
03:29and I set it all up for you.
03:31Go step on this so you can see it.
03:45What do you see?
03:47R2-D2.
03:48R2-D2.
03:49R2-D2.
03:50R2-D2.
03:51Luke Skywalker.
03:52Darth Vader.
03:53Yep.
03:54Stormtroopers.
03:55Chewbacca.
03:56You know what these are?
03:57Luke Skywalker, and I forget who that is.
03:58C-3PO.
03:59Oh.
04:00I like him.
04:01You like him?
04:02Mm-hmm.
04:03Yes, you like Adam Driver.
04:04Hey, guys, what's going on?
04:05Did you check this stuff out?
04:06What we got over here?
04:07This is like vintage Star Wars consignments we've got in.
04:10This is awesome.
04:11This is really hot right now.
04:12What do you see?
04:13What do you see?
04:14What do you see?
04:15R2-D2.
04:16This is really hot right now.
04:17You know, the movie stuff, it's one of the categories that we've got to grow at Golden.
04:22So I met this guy, Brad, owns this brand new company in business maybe 18 months called Studio Auctions.
04:28They're very small, but they have really good stuff.
04:33Hey, Brad.
04:34How you doing?
04:35You've got a very interesting business out there in Burbank.
04:37With such a young company, how are you able to go out and get such big items?
04:42A lot of hard work, a lot of time away from home, and a few bucks all rolled into one.
04:49I'd like you guys to check it out.
04:50Are we going to bring back some consignment, grab some stuff?
04:52I want you to check out the place.
04:54I want you to talk to the employees.
04:56I want all the information I can.
04:58Tell me, is it worth my time?
04:59Let's see what type of opportunity there is, okay?
05:01Awesome.
05:02We'll get you all the info.
05:03Absolutely.
05:04Thanks, guys.
05:05So, Carly.
05:06Yeah?
05:07You know what they have out there that they're going to see?
05:09Take a look at that.
05:10Who's that?
05:11R2-D2.
05:12He looks like he's almost as tall as me.
05:14Yes, he does.
05:15Woo!
05:16He makes noise.
05:17I talk R2-D2.
05:19Me!
05:20I can do a little Chewy.
05:21What's he doing?
05:22What's he doing?
05:23No, no.
05:25What does he sound like?
05:26What's he go like?
05:27Rah!
05:28Oh.
05:29Move!
05:30Recognize that the crime don't stop it.
05:33For God, I must believe I did a lot.
05:35Oh, my eyes stood up.
05:36My eyes stood up.
05:37My eyes stood up.
05:38My eyes stood up.
05:39Welcome to Golden.
05:41My name's Dallas Hawkman.
05:43I'm Amber Hawkman.
05:44So, I hit the Bo Nix Gold Vinyl, one of one downtown.
05:48Ryan!
05:49Hey, there they are.
05:50I got Dallas and Amber here.
05:51Oh, my gosh.
05:52So good to meet you guys.
05:53I absolutely support his collecting.
05:55It's a fun hobby for him, and we both love football so much.
05:58I mean, this is a massive, massive card.
06:01And then he came into his rookie season,
06:02took Denver back to the playoffs,
06:04first time since the Super Bowl win in 2016.
06:07Yeah.
06:08Bo Nix was the 12th draft pick in the 2024 draft.
06:11He actually took the Denver Broncos to the playoffs
06:13for the first time in almost 10 years,
06:15set multiple records for passing yards, touchdowns,
06:18and he's still just a young kid.
06:20Amber and Dallas hit a one-of-one downtown,
06:22which are the hottest cards in the hobby right now.
06:24This couple definitely might want to hold this card
06:26as, like, a long-term investment piece,
06:28and I can't blame them if they want to,
06:30but I'm gonna feel it out.
06:31You hit this one, correct?
06:32I did, yeah, in a one-box break.
06:34Yeah.
06:35One box.
06:36Yeah.
06:37I actually called off of work that day.
06:38No way.
06:3911 o'clock a.m., come across alive.
06:41Eight packs in, nothing.
06:42I'm like, can I get one base card, please?
06:44Right.
06:45Something, something.
06:46And, uh, all of a sudden, boom.
06:48Boom.
06:49I'm just gonna quick rip it.
06:50Oh!
06:51Bo Nix, what a one downtown!
06:55Box breaking has gotten bigger and bigger every single year.
06:58It's a livestream.
06:59Tons of people, sometimes thousands of people,
07:01are tuning in.
07:02So for me, when you see people like Amber and Dallas
07:04who hit that lottery,
07:05you kind of have to make sure that they understand
07:07this is not something that's going to probably ever happen again.
07:09I'm dying to see it.
07:10Can we at least check it out?
07:11Absolutely.
07:12I've heard about it.
07:13I just haven't seen it yet.
07:14So, I mean, it's, it's, oh, my gosh.
07:17Look at that thing.
07:18It's unbelievable.
07:19It's unbelievable.
07:20People don't realize, with the gold vinyls,
07:23they're impossible cards to grade.
07:25Yeah.
07:26With that surface, it's so easy to nick a corner and edge.
07:28There's so many surface blemishes on these.
07:30So to have that card in a PSA perfect grade,
07:33it's, it's unheard of.
07:35I mean, I think this could be anywhere from 45,000
07:38upwards of 75K.
07:39I mean, obviously a card like that, you know,
07:42it's life-changing money.
07:43Yeah, we are planning to hopefully do IVF with it
07:47because we've had some fertility issues.
07:50So we've been trying for two years now
07:53and I've already gone through fertility treatments.
07:56It's a lot to save for it.
07:58IVF alone can cost up to like $45,000.
08:01Oh, my gosh.
08:02Yeah.
08:03You know, it's tough to continue to get invited
08:06to baby showers and have family members
08:09and friends say,
08:10when are you guys going to have a baby?
08:11When are you guys going to have a baby?
08:12Yes.
08:13It sucks.
08:14I mean, this is what people across the world
08:16go through every day.
08:17Yeah.
08:18I can relate.
08:19I'm 35.
08:22Something I want more than anything in my life
08:24is a baby.
08:26So like last year, I froze my eggs for,
08:28it was $30,000 out of pocket.
08:30Oh, my gosh.
08:31So like I wiped out my savings account.
08:34Yeah.
08:35And I'm like wishing you all the best
08:36and like that's the most amazing hobby story
08:38I've ever heard for me personally.
08:40Yeah.
08:41I hate to even talk business in a situation like this,
08:43but obviously we have to ask the question
08:45because I know we both really want to work with you
08:47on this card.
08:48Do you guys want to work with Golden?
08:50Potentially.
08:51I have had an offer of $45,000.
08:54Okay. Wow.
08:56You know, with where we're at right now
08:57and what we're going through,
08:59that kind of money is...
09:01It's a game changer.
09:02It's a game changer.
09:03Hard to turn down.
09:04Of course.
09:05I had no idea that IVF treatments were so much money.
09:07For someone who wants to bring a life into this world,
09:10which is obviously a priceless thing in its own right,
09:12this just kind of adds such a new element
09:14for this entire deal.
09:16And I just want to do everything in my power
09:18to get every single dollar for them
09:20to hopefully start that family.
09:22You know, we have an amazing marketing team here.
09:23I'm sure you've seen a lot of the videos she does.
09:25We all do, you know, really strong videos for cards.
09:28But I think on a card like this,
09:30you don't really want us on that video.
09:32I think it's more of you two telling your story
09:34and bringing awareness to what you're going through.
09:36So I hope we get to work together
09:38if you guys see fit.
09:40As much as it is our story,
09:42I will... I want this to completely be...
09:45No, it's our story.
09:47Up to you.
09:52Yeah, I mean, I want to definitely commit.
09:54We're doing it.
09:55We're doing it.
09:56Yeah.
09:57Oh, my gosh. Unbelievable.
09:58I'm so excited.
09:59At the end of the day,
10:00whether it does 10,000 or 100,000,
10:02we just want our story to be known.
10:04Other family members have fertility issues,
10:06lots of friends having fertility issues,
10:08so it can be talked about more.
10:10Yeah.
10:11And we also know that Golden and Ryan
10:14will go above and beyond to get our story,
10:17our card, our future out there.
10:20Well, when you have your baby,
10:22it has to be Bo middle name or something.
10:23I don't know.
10:24We do plan on if we have a boy naming him Bo.
10:26Are you not?
10:27Yeah.
10:28And if we have a little girl,
10:30either Bo or Bo for the middle name.
10:33Okay.
10:34Oh, my gosh. That's so good.
10:37Yeah.
10:38So incredible.
10:48So, what's new and exciting?
10:50I mean, obviously, you heard about Ben.
10:54Yes. Tell me about Ben.
10:55So, new boyfriend.
10:56Yeah, we met at Jenna's birthday.
10:58Ah.
10:59Bonded, and then, yeah, now we're dating.
11:01So, would you look at that?
11:02Well, I'm supposed to meet him this weekend, right?
11:04I believe so.
11:05So, are you gonna be on your best behavior?
11:07I'm always on my best behavior.
11:10Okay, no, I'm never on my best behavior,
11:12but I will put on a good act for him, okay?
11:14Yeah, yeah.
11:15Okay.
11:16So, what's new with you, Big K?
11:17Did you ever meet Darren Prince before?
11:19Is that the guy from Glee?
11:22No, it's not the guy from Glee.
11:23So, Darren, I don't know.
11:25Darren Prince is an agent.
11:28Mm-hmm.
11:29He represents Magic Johnson, a lot of models,
11:32and when they were alive, he was working with both Muhammad Ali
11:35and Joe Frazier, and he invited me to L.A.
11:38Mm-hmm.
11:39And said he's got some boxing items from Ali and Frazier.
11:42So, I'm hoping it's something related to the Thriller in Manila.
11:46This year marks the 50th anniversary of Ali Frazier 3,
11:51the Thriller in Manila.
11:53Frazier is hurt!
11:54And if I know that, you can be damn sure Darren knows that,
11:58and I bet that's why he's reaching out to me.
12:01I might need you to help out with the kids while I'm gone,
12:03but just remember, cameras all over inside and outside the house.
12:08If Ben comes over, I'll know about it.
12:10That's fine.
12:11What is going on here?
12:12Uh-oh.
12:13Are we getting pulled over?
12:15Oh.
12:16I hope not.
12:17Maybe they saw the...
12:18No, it's an ambulance.
12:19Okay, fine.
12:20Maybe they saw the Ken effin' golden license plate.
12:21Yeah, I know, right?
12:22Yeah, I know, right?
12:24There's something about these L.A. streets that make you wanna vibe.
12:30Makes you wanna vibe.
12:33Welcome.
12:34Come on in.
12:38What?
12:39Look at this.
12:40There's so much stuff here.
12:45I recognize so much, but the seat in person.
12:48This is unbelievable.
12:49I mean, I see Kruger.
12:50I'm getting emotions from when I was younger.
12:52There you go, yeah.
12:53I'm getting scared looking at that guy.
12:54I've always wanted that glove.
12:55A glove, yeah.
12:56How do you even get something like this, Joe?
12:58In our space, we're a boutique house, and Brad called us all together
13:01to bring in the best of the best, but give it all attention.
13:04Because a lot of the bigger houses, you know, they're doing 1,200 sale.
13:07So we just select these very well-curated pieces from the beginning of time in filmmaking to yesterday.
13:12I'm gonna put this down, because this is valuable.
13:16That's incredible.
13:17I mean, I feel like that's one of the biggest props in cinema history right there.
13:20That's a holy grail, no pun intended.
13:22That's probably a million-dollar prop.
13:24How do you get that even authenticated?
13:25Well, you know, luckily a lot of our material comes from production.
13:28Okay, so you get it right from the source.
13:29It comes right from the special effects guys, from collectors that have relationships with the guys.
13:34You know, in our business, confidentiality is important.
13:36So we're very, very quiet about that with bidders and with consignors.
13:39Yeah.
13:40Joe Moe is on staff for Studio Auctions and heads up their pop culture department.
13:44He describes Studio Auctions as a boutique company.
13:47These are some of the biggest, best movie props across all genres.
13:50This is the equivalent to a sports collectibles auction house saying they're a boutique.
13:54And then you come in and there's Honus Wagners and Ruth Batts just lying all over the place.
13:58This is a golden-worthy auction house.
14:01As soon as I look over, two seconds, you got Harry Potter.
14:03Harry Potter, Case of Wands.
14:05Who wants to be the bad guy?
14:06I mean, Dave, you're kind of a villain.
14:08Voldemort.
14:09You're more of a bad guy.
14:10I'm more of a villain.
14:11You can be Harry himself.
14:12Oh, lovely.
14:13I shall be Dumbledore, being the senior member of the treehouse.
14:16He is incredible.
14:17So what spells do you like?
14:18You break us, you pay us.
14:19I go with the, uh, I expecto some Patrono.
14:22Expecto some Patrono.
14:23I got Krupios.
14:24You can turn into Ryan Krupa.
14:25What's up, bro?
14:28This is absolutely incredible.
14:31You feel the power.
14:32You do.
14:33I thought I was worried about flying right now.
14:34It's like if you just shoot me to the ceiling.
14:35Whoa!
14:36How much would a little tiny wand like this from such a big franchise like Harry Potter bring?
14:40In the hand of Voldemort, that probably would go for $30,000 to $40,000.
14:43That's an average, you know?
14:45So we've got like $100,000 worth of wands, right?
14:47Easily.
14:48Yeah, easily.
14:49All right.
14:50I'll let you handle that one.
14:51Sure.
14:52Over here, we have the coup de grace.
14:54The Star Wars table.
14:55Wow, here we go.
14:56And I want to show you a magic trick.
14:58Lightsaber?
14:59Watch what happens when you hold this.
15:02There.
15:03That's it.
15:04You turn 12 years old.
15:05You start making the sound effects.
15:06Right along.
15:07I knew you'd get there, yeah.
15:08That is so awesome, man.
15:10Come on.
15:11All right.
15:12It's not a fair fight, but there's a grenade.
15:15You guys could have another little battle if you want.
15:18Yeah, right.
15:19He caught me up, man.
15:20I just like to walk into the other room while you do it.
15:22Right.
15:23And then our friend here.
15:26Wow.
15:27Is this the actual full-size R2-D2?
15:29It is made from production molds.
15:31It was a walk-around character at Disney World.
15:33That's about as close as you're gonna get nowadays.
15:35And being that it actually works,
15:37what's the value of something like this versus one that doesn't work?
15:40I would expect we could make 80 grand, maybe.
15:43Wow.
15:44Or more.
15:45So if you had to put a value on inventory in-house right now...
15:48I hope we have a couple million.
15:49It's on only a 260-lot sale.
15:51So this is all one auction?
15:53This is all one auction.
15:54Wow, that's a heck of an auction.
15:56I've been telling the team we need to dive into movie props,
15:58and we've come across our share here or there,
16:00but we've just not gotten over the hurdle.
16:02This is just the mecca.
16:04These guys are the big boys of Boutique.
16:06A company like this can put us right there
16:09with the top five in the space immediately.
16:11I'm impressed.
16:12I'm gonna let Ken know,
16:14and I wanna come down here back with Ken in a few days.
16:16I think there's something we can do together.
16:17There's potential here, yeah.
16:18Well, thank him for sending you down.
16:20Yeah, Joe, thank you.
16:21I have a feeling you guys are family already.
16:22Our pleasure, our pleasure.
16:23This was incredible.
16:24Hustlin' a night, what you flex with.
16:26Flex with.
16:27Know we eatin' well, how our belts fit.
16:29I'm Dallas from Western Maryland,
16:31and this is my wife Amber.
16:32My wife and I have been trying to have a baby
16:35for the past two years and have been unsuccessful.
16:38We plan on using a portion of that
16:41to finally be able to afford IVF treatment
16:43and hopefully have a little baby.
16:46Hustlin' a night, what you flex with.
16:48Know we eatin' well, how our belts fit.
16:51Took a break from the cook and let my chef whip.
16:54Went all money in, what you left with.
16:56There he is.
16:57There he is.
16:58How you doin', Aaron?
16:59Good God, it's been at least a year or two.
17:02Oh, my God, yes.
17:03I am Darren Prince,
17:05president and CEO of Prince Marketing Group.
17:07We represent iconic athletes and celebrities.
17:10Clients that have passed were Smokin' Joe Frazier,
17:13Muhammad Ali, Jerry West.
17:15Magic Johnson's been a client for 31 years.
17:18This is Nutsa from America.
17:20Nutsa, hi.
17:21Nutsa, hi.
17:22She was a client for about two, two and a half years,
17:26and Saturday night we got engaged.
17:28Oh, my God.
17:29Give me a hug.
17:30Congratulations.
17:31Thank you so much.
17:32Make an ass man out of him.
17:36All right, I know you're dying to see what you came here for.
17:39Yep.
17:40So let's go do it.
17:41All right.
17:42I'll let you guys talk.
17:45How you doin'?
17:48Here they are.
17:49This is...
17:51This is royalty.
17:52Yep.
17:54These are worn robes from the Thrilla in Manila era.
17:59In 1974, Muhammad Ali regains his title.
18:02However, one main rival stood in his way.
18:06Joe Frazier.
18:07They had fought twice.
18:09Frazier won the first time.
18:11Ali won the second time.
18:13The ultimate tiebreaker.
18:15That was the Thrilla in Manila
18:17with Muhammad Ali coming out on top
18:19and retaining his heavyweight title.
18:21And that, people say,
18:23was the greatest boxing match of all time.
18:26Amazing.
18:27Absolutely amazing.
18:29I gotta check these out.
18:31Oh, man.
18:32Oh, wow.
18:33Holding worldwide history.
18:37The first thing I notice, you gotta look at the tag.
18:41Made expressly for Muhammad Ali.
18:44The public was never able to buy something like this.
18:48See how all these threads here are popped?
18:51That is from multiple wearings and multiple washings.
18:54And then, Smokin' Joe, I mean, this is your guy.
18:57I mean, this is my heart.
18:58Incredible.
18:59You can see here.
19:00See the markings.
19:01That is a consistent buildup of the sweat that he had.
19:07This is really, really, really worn a lot.
19:10When you have boxing robes worn by warriors,
19:15finding blood or finding sweat is not a bad thing.
19:19This is literally their DNA on the robe.
19:22Seeing something like that makes people feel closer to the boxer.
19:26It also makes the item more valuable.
19:29Incredible.
19:31Two incredible pieces,
19:32especially to have both of them available at the same time.
19:37So what, does somebody go for one?
19:39Or I know you have so many collectors, investors.
19:42How iconic to get them side by side.
19:44The great thing about this, especially Ali,
19:47is these guys are borderless.
19:49We are looking at a global market here.
19:52And that's what's great about boxing.
19:54It's a worldwide sport,
19:55and we at Golden reach a global audience.
19:59And I think the way to do it is we put them in the same auction side by side.
20:04And I think you could be easily looking over a quarter million for the pair.
20:08This is tremendous.
20:10I love boxing.
20:11I am set for the 50th anniversary of the fight.
20:14I remember some of the late Ali fights.
20:18As a kid, so to be able to sell classic pieces like this is tremendous.
20:23I appreciate your trust in me to handle this,
20:26but I have to ask you, you know, what's your reasoning now to let them go?
20:30So the Aiming High Foundation was named after my book, Aiming High.
20:33It's my own 501c3.
20:35You know, scholarship dozens of people a year with mental health and substance abuse issues.
20:40It's obviously very near and dear to me.
20:42Yep.
20:43And so I'll take some of my proceeds, and that allows me to scholarship people that are needed help with mental health and substance abuse.
20:50Amazing.
20:51And it's just such a beautiful thing to be able to do that.
20:53What you have accomplished, the way you've turned your life around, the way you have now dedicated yourself to this.
21:00I mean, I'm so proud that you've been able to do this and stick with it for so many years.
21:06Real wealth is what you could do to impact lives and touch other people that are struggling.
21:11And, you know, to have that ability again now through Ken, you know, is a beautiful thing.
21:17Let's do this. We good?
21:18Yeah. Give me a hug.
21:19Love you.
21:20Love you too, brother.
21:21They say I'm well put together.
21:23It's funny how things just fall in place.
21:25Taking it to another level.
21:27How much damage will I make?
21:29Dude.
21:30Here we go, bro.
21:31Sunny California, bro.
21:32This place is awesome, man. Look at this.
21:33Carlo and I are in Marina del Rey, California at Bartel's Harley Davidson.
21:37And we're meeting up with the owner of a one-of-a-kind motorcycle.
21:40He's been hesitant to put it up for auction.
21:42So hopefully some face time will lead to a deal.
21:44So there he is.
21:45There it is.
21:46This is what we're looking for here.
21:48It is Elvis' Harley Davidson from 1976.
21:52And it's not just an Elvis Harley.
21:54It's the last Harley Elvis ever owned.
21:57And when it comes to a name like Elvis, it doesn't get much bigger than that.
22:00How you doing? Who's the owner?
22:02Bill Bartels?
22:03That's me.
22:04David Emmerman. How are you?
22:05Bill, I'm Carlo. Pleasure to meet you.
22:06So we've come a long way.
22:08If you could tell me a little bit more about it, I'd love to hear.
22:10Elvis called the dealer that I worked for at that time.
22:13And told him he'd like to come in.
22:15And he said, I don't want a circus.
22:18So he said, don't tell a soul.
22:19Well, my boss never even told me until I had two limos pull up in the yard.
22:24And I go, that looks a lot like Elvis.
22:27No way.
22:28So you sold it to Elvis originally.
22:30Yeah.
22:31He passed away not shortly after he purchased this.
22:34One year later.
22:35Wow.
22:36Elvis Presley.
22:37We're talking about the absolute king of rock and roll.
22:41Had so many top hits.
22:42You know, he was larger than life.
22:44Getting mobbed everywhere he went.
22:46But he needed something to escape with.
22:48And motorcycles gave Elvis that feeling of escape.
22:51When he was on the road, he was in his own element.
22:53And kind of just took him out of all that craziness.
22:55Just for a little bit of time.
22:58Uh, this bike is a 1976 Bicentennial FLH 1200 Harley Davidson.
23:05They made 750 of them.
23:07Okay.
23:08So it's a limited bike.
23:09We have the original title signed twice by Elvis Presley.
23:12Look at the signature on that thing.
23:14Looks like he just signed it yesterday.
23:15It's incredible.
23:16Wow.
23:17That's a collectible by itself.
23:18The client had his time with this.
23:20And he's very happy to let it move to the next person.
23:22Like all collectors, they get something.
23:25They love it.
23:26And then they're ready for it to move on.
23:28I guess it wouldn't hurt if I took a seat.
23:31Right?
23:32That's okay?
23:33Ooh, baby.
23:35Oh, yeah.
23:37Thank you very much.
23:41Thank you very much.
23:42Checking himself in the mirror.
23:44Ooh, looking pretty good there, bro.
23:46There have probably been more people that have actually landed on the moon
23:49than to have sat on Elvis Presley's actual personally-owned motorcycle.
23:54Piece of history right here.
23:55Wow.
23:56So we're going heavy in pop culture.
23:57We're going heavy in music.
23:58This is one of the biggest items in the space when it comes to Elvis and collectibles.
24:02So for us, we need something that's really going to wow people.
24:05So this bike just captures all of that.
24:08Wow.
24:09This is an all-timer right here.
24:10Absolutely, man.
24:11It hits a little different than a baseball card.
24:13Absolutely.
24:14That's for sure.
24:15Thanks so much for having us out here.
24:17This has been amazing.
24:18Yeah, Tom, thank you so much.
24:19This has been such an honor right here.
24:21So I guess what I've honestly been wondering the whole time is,
24:26I'd love to know what it's going to take to get this to auction.
24:28As you guys know, anything with a motor has a different value when it comes to memorabilia.
24:40So you already understand how significant this is with the paperwork, the history, the provenance.
24:47But what other things have you guys sold that has a motor that will provide some confidence for this consignment?
24:54We've absolutely sold some items like that.
24:56We sold Cal Ripken Jr. Chevy Tahoe he got when he passed the consecutive game streak.
25:01Shaq Cybertruck.
25:02We just sold the Shaq Cybertruck pretty well, actually.
25:06Uh, I think, um...
25:13Are you more concerned with cash?
25:16This is a holy grail asset because the bike is very historic.
25:20You can't get another one.
25:21It should fetch a premium because of the authentication package that comes with it.
25:25I mean, Elvis' jumpsuit sold for $600,000.
25:28Mm-hmm.
25:29I would say that everything with a motor has more value, especially when it comes to memorabilia.
25:35This is a million-dollar bike.
25:38There's a lot of things we can do to market this, not just between Golden and what we've done.
25:45We've been acquired by eBay.
25:47eBay Motors is one of the largest marketplaces for motors and automobiles in the world, and we have their marketing support.
25:53So I think between eBay and Golden, we can get this in front of everyone's eyeballs.
25:58And I think that's how you get the best value.
26:01That's how we set those record prices.
26:03Anything that we can do to market this that will be reflective of its importance in history?
26:09eBay is in every country.
26:11This is a music and a history item Elvis relates worldwide.
26:16We have over 180 million users worldwide with eBay's marketing.
26:20It's gonna be marketed all over Golden Social, full two-page spread in the catalog.
26:24We're gonna do the works, but we want to know at the end of it, it's gonna sell and it's gonna get what you want.
26:28And if I didn't think this was a million, I wouldn't even sit here and take it.
26:31But if you're willing to let this thing ride, run it in true auction, I feel confident shaking your hand right now and saying,
26:36I feel good about getting you a million dollars if we can bring this to Golden.
26:42Hmm.
26:44I think, um...
26:49As Elvis would say, let it ride. Let's do it.
26:52Let's do it.
26:53Absolutely.
26:54All right.
26:55Awesome, man.
26:56Today, man, thank you so much for letting us even see this and just be in its presence.
27:00This is gonna be incredible.
27:01Oh, it's the catalog cover right here.
27:03This is an all-timer right here, man.
27:04Awesome.
27:06Fasten in, Carlo. Fasten in.
27:07Feel safe.
27:09And this is really nice. Not bad.
27:10This is relaxing, dude. This is so relaxing.
27:12This is awesome, dude.
27:13All right, dude, I know.
27:22Hey, Ryan and Alex.
27:23Hey, guys.
27:24First and foremost, I want to thank you guys so much for being so kind to my wife and I.
27:28I still cannot believe that the card brought $47,850.
27:33This is gonna go so far for me and my wife to help us try and have a baby with our IVF treatment.
27:40Um, so, uh, stay tuned.
27:42Hopefully, we, uh, hopefully get to meet baby Beau here soon.
27:45I wouldn't open the door if I saw you two stand in there.
28:01You need to tie it for the shirts.
28:02Hi, Ken.
28:03How you doing, Lydia?
28:04Come on in.
28:05Good to meet you in person.
28:06Hi.
28:07How are you?
28:09Good to see Brad.
28:10Absolutely.
28:11I'll go grab him, but feel free to take a look around.
28:12It's lots to see.
28:13Great.
28:19Holy cow.
28:20After Dave and Carlo's recon mission, I got great reports.
28:24Golden needs to be globally recognized as the biggest name in this category.
28:28I see a way to make that happen.
28:30Ooh.
28:31R2-D2.
28:32Ken.
28:33Great to finally meet you.
28:35Hey.
28:36Good to meet in person finally.
28:37Absolutely.
28:38Dave.
28:39Good to meet you, Carlo.
28:40So I started Studio Auctions about two years ago with a greater focus, emphasis on customer
28:46service and having smaller auctions so we could do a better job of highlighting everyone's pieces.
28:51When people think Bruce Lee, they think this item.
28:55Amazing piece of movie history right there.
28:57Look, I'd love to talk a little business with you if you don't mind.
28:59Of course.
29:00Sure.
29:01All right, guys.
29:02Entertain yourselves.
29:03All right.
29:04Plenty of stuff to entertain us.
29:05First time, Cooper.
29:06Let me tell you about myself.
29:08Sure.
29:09I was a collector for many years.
29:11Then I started buying and selling.
29:13And I decided I wanted to open up my own auction house.
29:16Compete with some of the larger auction companies.
29:18Do things a little differently.
29:20Almost from the get-go, the first auction, we just exploded.
29:22We've done incredibly well.
29:23I'm very proud of it.
29:24To me, you know, I'm trying to grow golden in areas that would help expand categories we have.
29:30You know, I know competitors out there who do $100 million a year in this type of stuff.
29:35Or more, right?
29:36That's right.
29:37We are trying to become number one in every category.
29:41Okay?
29:42I've got eBay behind me.
29:43I mean, 138 million monthly users, right?
29:48It's probably gonna be 10, maybe 15 years until you get to scale.
29:53I saw what you have here, and I've got to capture this magic.
29:58I know you weren't prepared for this, but I would like to acquire studio and have studio auctions be a part of golden.
30:10Dun &
30:18Yeah, here I go, what's up?
30:20What's up?
30:21Uh, here I come, what's up?
30:23What's up?
30:24Yeah.
30:25Here I go, what's up, what's up?
30:27Uh, here come, what's up, what's up?
30:29Yeah, you can holler if you want to.
30:32What's up?
30:33You can follow when I move.
30:35What's up?
30:36What's up, what's up, what's up, uh, here I come, what's up, what's up.
31:06What's up, what's up.
