00:00Logan, how you doing?
00:05I'm good, my guy. How are you, Ken?
00:07I'm doing good, doing good.
00:09Listen, I got my hands on a couple boxes of 2009 Topps Hobby.
00:15Do you know about the Steph Curry Super Fractor
00:18that's never been found?
00:20I know it's never been found.
00:22It's worth $5 million.
00:24It could be as high as $8 million.
00:27So I'm thinking, let's do this together
00:30and try and get a massive box break
00:32where we try and find the curry.
00:34You want me to do it with you?
00:35I want you to do it with me, in my office.
00:38We hit it? We split it?
00:39100%.
00:40I mean, I'm in. What an honor.
00:42Amazing.
00:43And I've got something really, really, really old.
00:46We may break that too, okay?
00:48Okay.
00:49And Logan, do me a favor.
00:52Bring the illustrator with you.
00:54The illustrator?
00:56Yes, your illustrator.
00:58The card Logan wears around his neck
01:01is a Pikachu illustrator.
01:04They were available in 1998 as part of a contest.
01:09Logan's is the only existing 10 in the world.
01:13That is the holy grail of all Pokemon cards.
01:17Do you have an offer?
01:19Um, maybe. Maybe. You know me.
01:22Really?
01:23Yes, really.
01:24All right.
01:25Okay.
01:26Do you have it?
01:27I got...
01:28Yeah, I have it.
01:29I just gotta...
01:30I gotta bring a security team to move it with me.
01:32That's fine. That's fine.
01:33I always have.
01:34Look, I got a bunch of armed guards here,
01:36so we can meet you.
01:37Okay.
01:38Okay.
01:39I'll see you soon.
01:40I'll see you soon, Logan. Thanks.
01:41Yes, sir. Yes, sir.
01:42Peace, Ken.
01:43How was that?
01:44Now we've got Logan coming to the office.
01:49We got a plan how we maximize this.
01:52He's in my kingdom.
01:55I'm not letting him leave with that illustrator around his neck.
01:59We're gonna figure it out,
02:00and I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse.
02:02Yeah, only got time for the kings of my choice.
02:14I don't need uptown for you to know that I'm the one.
02:17Ain't never stopping it, yeah.
02:20Just got the energy, yeah.
02:22You going the city allowed or no?
02:23Now I'm at the age where, like,
02:24all my friends are going back to suburbia
02:25because they're married and having babies.
02:27It's just like, I don't even have anyone left in New York.
02:30Yeah, but, I mean, I feel like New York's kind of played out
02:32after a while, though.
02:33Just like this, this, I know.
02:34How many times are you gonna do this, like, nightclub scene?
02:36I have no plans this fall weekend.
02:37Yeah.
02:38That's not, that's not, like, a bad thing either sometimes.
02:39Like, hey, Ryan.
02:40What's up, brother?
02:41How are you?
02:42The family with the god pack is about to arrive.
02:43Have you seen this video yet?
02:44No. What?
02:45Oh, my.
02:46This is, like, one of the coolest videos I've seen.
02:47It gives me chills.
02:48Actually, come over here. I'll pull it up.
02:49Hold on.
02:50Wait, who pulled a god pack?
02:51Let me pull this up. Hold on.
02:52Pokemon.
02:53So it's Grayson, right?
02:54Bond.
02:55Bond. Yeah, watch this.
02:56So they went into a card store.
02:57That's a god pack.
02:59Yeah, you imagine that?
03:00You imagine pulling a god pack out of one of those?
03:03You would?
03:04I'd cry.
03:05A typical Pokemon pack has ten cards.
03:07And one of the cards is rare.
03:09But in a god pack, every card is rare.
03:12It is, like, one in, like, 2,000 packs.
03:15God pack!
03:16God pack!
03:17No, it's not.
03:18God pack!
03:19It's a god pack!
03:20Oh, my God!
03:21Oh, my God!
03:22I love it.
03:23It's chills just watching it.
03:35My name is Bond.
03:36My name is Grayson.
03:37I'm from Plattsburgh, New York.
03:38What's going on, guys?
03:39I was literally just on my lunch break for work.
03:42We both went to the card shop.
03:44We got one of these Eevee bundles.
03:46And I pulled the god pack from that one.
03:49I couldn't believe it.
03:51It's gotta be unbelievable, right?
03:53Yeah.
03:54If you hit that by yourself, it wouldn't be as special if your dad was there, you know?
03:56Yeah.
03:57There's nothing better than the father-son aspect.
03:58Yeah.
03:59What was it like having that moment with your son?
04:01That's why I love collecting.
04:02Like, I always collected comics and cards and grew up with Pokemon.
04:05So you're a collector, too, then?
04:06Yes, exactly.
04:07So, and then to get that was just a moment that I'll never see.
04:10It'll be hard to top that.
04:12Yeah, and lucky to get it captured.
04:13I was like, holy crap.
04:14Went on that TikTok, and it had already, like, two million views.
04:17And I was like, wow.
04:18And then from there, it just blew up.
04:19And I was like, man, that's crazy.
04:20I mean, I get chills every time I watch it.
04:21I love it.
04:22Crazy.
04:23So, obviously, you guys had an amazing moment.
04:25We did get them graded for you guys.
04:27Wanna check it out?
04:28Yeah, definitely.
04:29All right, so let's head over here.
04:30Have fun.
04:31Vaughn and Grayson came in today because we actually handled the grading of their god pack.
04:35As a collector or a client, grading your cards is always the most important thing you can do.
04:39It kind of solidifies the value of said item.
04:42And it also kind of shows our client, you know, exactly what they have and potentially what it could be worth.
04:47So it makes the sales side a little bit easier as well.
04:50We kind of want you to do the honors of opening them up.
04:52How do we feel?
04:53How do we feel?
04:54Pretty good?
04:55Okay.
04:56All right.
04:57Let's see.
04:58How do we do?
04:59All right.
05:00That's great.
05:01That's a good start.
05:02About $400 or $500 still.
05:03That's a good start.
05:04Okay.
05:05Nine.
05:06Lots of nines.
05:07That's not bad.
05:08And then the ombreon.
05:09Biggest one.
05:10What did the ombreon get?
05:11Nine.
05:12All right.
05:13That's awesome.
05:14That's really good.
05:15We're looking for that 10.
05:16Espeon's a 10.
05:17There we go.
05:18There we go.
05:19We got the 10.
05:20A thousand.
05:21Eight hundred to a thousand at least.
05:23Grayson has the opportunity to either sell these cards with us for thousands of dollars
05:26or even if you want to sell these cards with us for thousands of dollars.
05:29That's a good start.
05:30That's a good start.
05:31That's a good start.
05:32You can sell these cards with us for thousands of dollars which is a lot of money for a kid
05:36or keep them in his collection and these will be the premier pieces in his entire collection.
05:40Not an easy decision for anyone, especially a kid.
05:44Grayson.
05:45Yeah.
05:46You have like $5,000 plus in there.
05:48Yeah.
05:49So we do have a couple options here at Golden.
05:50Yeah.
05:51So we're the biggest sports and TCG auction house in the world.
05:54So I don't know if you were open to potentially selling.
05:56It's good to kind of strike when the iron's hot and those are the hottest thing in the game right now.
06:01Option number two is obviously this is the centerpiece of your new collection.
06:04Yep.
06:05And we just build that collection from there, right?
06:07Yeah.
06:08You definitely...
06:09What do you think?
06:10Um...
06:11Tell them what you think.
06:16Um...
06:17Probably gonna wanna keep some.
06:20Okay.
06:21That's awesome.
06:22Something like that.
06:23That's a great answer.
06:24In a very business-minded culture, sometimes you gotta take a step back and just appreciate a moment.
06:29It's not really about the money on this one.
06:31You're seeing a kid who genuinely loves this, just like I did, just like Alex did.
06:36And that's the kind of thing that builds this hobby.
06:38We can build a lifetime collector.
06:40It's beyond worth it.
06:41So, Bon, you're in the army.
06:43So I did six years active.
06:44Okay.
06:45And then I went in the reserves, and then recently I've been on active duty orders
06:48because we've got a lot of mobilizations going out to different places.
06:51It can be busy.
06:53Sometimes I go away, you know.
06:55It makes it hard.
06:56Every moment we have together, especially because I'm a split family.
06:59I have them only half the time, so sometimes it can wear on him, but he does well.
07:03So...
07:07It's okay, buddy.
07:08Sorry.
07:09Sorry.
07:14We really appreciate you coming in.
07:15That video was something we watched countless times.
07:17I probably watched it at least 10, 15 times myself.
07:19Moments like that are what make this entire hobby, you know, what it is.
07:23I can agree.
07:24The money side is one thing, but it's really about those moments
07:27and those memories you have with your mom and your dad,
07:29and that video is something you'll have for the rest of your time.
07:31It was a pleasure.
07:32I appreciate it.
07:33I'm gonna go share that on my Instagram if that's okay with you guys.
07:34It's awesome.
07:35I love that.
07:36Thank you, Grayson.
07:37Thank you so much for coming.
07:38Thanks a lot.
07:39No, Grayson.
07:40Really appreciate you, my brother.
07:41You coming to Reed's game this weekend?
07:54Oh, for sure.
07:55Absolutely.
07:56When you come to the game, I gotta ask this one question.
07:58Who's the best baseball player in the family?
08:00Me, you, or Reed?
08:01Me.
08:02Because I've seen both of you play.
08:04Come on now.
08:05Let's just hope that we're not just doing this in vain and it's something we really can
08:09make some money with.
08:10When we go to house hunts, it's either somebody that wants to sell us something,
08:14somebody that wants us to sell something for them or somebody that's just trying to have
08:18a show and tell.
08:19But I'm not into show and tell.
08:21I wanna get the items, get them back to Golden so that we can make money.
08:25I'll be about getting paid, getting dollars, filling me non-surfing turf, that's me.
08:31I don't think it's a trick in vain at all.
08:33It's a challenge to me.
08:34I'm ready to get it done.
08:35I hope you're right.
08:36And I hope they're worth as much as this guy thinks they are.
08:42Hey, guys.
08:43Hey, Brian.
08:44Hey, Brian.
08:45Thanks for coming.
08:46Collections around back.
08:47Is it necessary for you guys to run?
08:49Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
08:57My name is Brian Troummen and I've got a world record peas collection.
09:15I've always been a collector of something,
09:17and at one point I realized I had about 100 Pez dispensers,
09:21and I figured it can't be that hard to get them all
09:23and have a complete collection.
09:2425 years later, I'm still going.
09:27Come on in.
09:28Wow.
09:30Man.
09:32I've never seen this many Pez dispensers anywhere.
09:36You're standing in the middle of almost 7,000 different Pez dispensers.
09:41This is amazing.
09:42How does somebody even get started doing this, Brian?
09:46So back in the day, my buddy Larry and I
09:48were on a field trip to the Bronx Zoo,
09:51and I was a bit of a jerk.
09:52So I took his Pez dispenser and I threw it into the gorilla cage.
09:55Larry's upset with me.
09:56He's like, you're going to get me another one of those.
09:58And so I went to the grocery store with my mom,
10:00and I bought him one, and I bought myself one.
10:03And so one of these trucks...
10:04Is the one.
10:05How much of the Pez did you eat?
10:07As a kid, I ate it a lot.
10:08So this company started in Austria back in the late 1920s.
10:14These are the candies.
10:15Those are the candy.
10:16That's the original candy.
10:17But I'm not going to eat 98-year-old candy.
10:20But back in the day, it wasn't for candy, though, wasn't it?
10:22No.
10:22It was to stop smoking cigarettes.
10:24Yeah, you're right.
10:24In the 1920s, Edouard Haas III manufactured tin can peppermints
10:30for smoker's breath.
10:32But Edouard was a germaphobe who disliked grabbing mints
10:35out of other people's tins.
10:37In response, he invented the first prototypes of Pez.
10:41The Pez dispensers were produced without heads,
10:44but those versions were unpopular in the United States,
10:47so the company licensed popular cartoon characters.
10:51The new versions were a hit and led to the household name
10:55we all know and love today.
10:57So right here, we got complete collections within the collection.
11:01You got all the turtles.
11:03You've got superheroes, Marvel and DC.
11:05You got Star Wars, Star Trek.
11:08This whole shelf here, MGM.
11:11You got 30 different Donald Ducks.
11:12They're all different.
11:13And over here, you got Americana, the Bicentennial series,
11:17every president that they ever made, including the SEAL.
11:20And, hey, how did Marilyn Monroe sneak in there next to JFK?
11:25Yeah, I mean, the 35 years that I've been doing this,
11:27I've never seen anybody with...
11:28I've never even seen anybody with a Pez collection at all,
11:30to be quite honest with you.
11:31No.
11:31Not at all.
11:32I get people come in and they're like,
11:33do you work for Pez?
11:34Is that your desk?
11:35You know?
11:36But maybe I should.
11:37No matter what it is, if it's got scarcity to it
11:40and there's people that desire it, it's got value.
11:43The Pez dispensers are no different.
11:44They obviously are worth money because he paid money for them.
11:47There's a market for it.
11:48We just need to find the people who want it.
11:50And that's what we do.
11:52You've been doing this for over 40 years, basically.
11:54Yeah.
11:55Some you have an emotional attachment to,
11:57some you have a monetary attachment to.
11:59Uh, yeah.
12:00But we're here.
12:01So how do we know which ones you're trying to sell
12:04and which ones you're not?
12:04That might have been the coolest thing I've ever done.
12:30Just got out of a chopper.
12:31$7 million Carter on my neck.
12:34Woo!
12:35I'm feeling myself, man.
12:37Someone got to keep me humble right now.
12:39Somebody insult me quickly.
12:40I'll say something about my hairline.
12:41Is that Jake Paul?
12:42Is that Jake Paul?
12:43That works.
12:43That works.
12:48Going to Ken Gold.
12:49Old friend of mine.
12:51Emphasis on old.
12:53Just saying, he's up there.
12:55We're going to go on a live stream.
12:56We're going to break open these boxes
12:57that are a pretty big deal.
12:58And if we hit the best of the best cards
13:00in all these boxes,
13:01we're talking about a potential $10 million pull.
13:04I'd go crazy if we hit
13:06the Steph Curry Super Fractor,
13:09which is like a $6 million card.
13:11Now, look, it's unlikely.
13:13If you saw last season of King of Collectibles,
13:14me and Ken,
13:15when we popped open two first edition Pokemon boxes,
13:18didn't pull one Charizard.
13:19Oh, nah.
13:20Nothing.
13:21Nothing.
13:22Nothing.
13:23It was horrible.
13:24Absolutely horrible.
13:25Ken and I are due
13:26for a couple big pulls.
13:28I don't want to jinx anything.
13:29Let me knock on some wood here.
13:48What's up, guys?
13:50What's up?
13:50No, stop, stop.
13:52Stop.
13:52Come on, guys.
13:53Come on.
13:54You got to keep me humble.
13:54Stop, stop, stop, stop.
13:57Ken!
13:58Morgan!
13:59How are you, boss?
14:00Doing good.
14:01Good to see you, brother.
14:02Good seeing you.
14:03Yes, sir.
14:03You're coming.
14:03I like this shirt.
14:05You brought that for me.
14:06I had to.
14:08Amazing.
14:08Yes, sir.
14:09Amazing.
14:09It's my guy.
14:10A box break like this is significant for the hobby.
14:14This is a great office, Ken.
14:16I'm opening up boxes that most people can't afford.
14:20I'm doing it with one of the most well-known worldwide collectors on eBay Live, and it's going
14:26to bring in so many new collectors, not only to eBay Live, but also to Golden.
14:32I'm in for halfsies.
14:33Okay.
14:33Yep.
14:33I'm down to gamble, bro.
14:35I have a very expensive wedding coming up.
14:36I could use the funds.
14:38$3 million or $4 million would be good if we split the curry.
14:41That paid for the wedding.
14:42Yeah.
14:43Almost.
14:44Almost.
14:45Yeah, no, it's expensive.
14:46Whoever opens the big cards and gets it, we split everything.
14:51So if we hit that $6 million stuff, he's got $3 million, and I've got $3 million.
14:56We are on eBay Live.
14:58Yes, sir.
15:00Hey, I'm tapped in.
15:01Yep.
15:01I'm just posting on my story.
15:03Yep.
15:03To get people to come to watch this.
15:05Absolutely.
15:06eBay Live opens up a whole new audience for Golden.
15:11It's not just about selling their products.
15:12It's about us engaging with the audience.
15:15We can talk to fans.
15:16We can talk to bidders.
15:17On the spot, and our personalities get the show.
15:20I mean, it's incredible.
15:22Absolutely incredible.
15:23We are going to open up a wide variety of boxes.
15:27The most famous card that has never been hit is the Steph Curry Super Fractor.
15:33We are hoping to pull one, and we're going to start.
15:36This is it.
15:37Give me that box.
15:38This is the 2009 Topps Hobby Box.
15:42Ken, it's been a minute since I broke a box, man.
15:44Okay, here we go.
15:44I have to say I'm very excited.
15:46Here we go.
15:47It's definitely in this box.
15:48Pay it for my wedding.
15:50Okay, so nope, nope, nope.
15:52Nothing in this bag.
15:53Nothing.
15:54That's James Harden without a beard?
15:57That's crazy.
15:58Oh, we're getting blasted out here.
15:59Ken, it's bad.
16:00Nope, nope, nope, nope.
16:02Okay.
16:03Wow.
16:05That was not a good box.
16:07Okay.
16:08Time to regroup.
16:10We didn't hit the curry, but that's okay.
16:13I have something unbelievably special planned.
16:17We're just getting started.
16:18This is 1985 Topps.
16:22Yeah.
16:22Hulk Hogan, his rookie cards are in here.
16:25We get them in a PSA 10.
16:27Prior to his passing, they were about $20,000.
16:31When somebody passes away, it's going to go up.
16:34Let's go.
16:35Iron Sheik.
16:36Superstars.
16:37Fabulous moolah.
16:38Rowdy, Rowdy Piper.
16:40No, that's not it.
16:41Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
16:43That's it.
16:43Let's go.
16:43We got our first one.
16:45Okay.
16:45Let's go.
16:47If we pull another Hogan.
16:49Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
16:53This guy's insane.
16:57That's awesome.
16:57That's awesome.
16:58Guess who loves wrestling?
17:00Carly.
17:01Carly.
17:02You got to get in here.
17:03Carly, let's crush it.
17:04Who are you looking for?
17:05Hulk Hogan.
17:06Very good.
17:06Yeah.
17:07And you'll recognize him if you see him?
17:10Yeah.
17:10These cards are very old.
17:14Paul, come on over here.
17:15Wait, so you guys related, you two?
17:17We love you, Paul.
17:18Nice name.
17:19Oh, my God.
17:21Whoa, she got one.
17:21Oh, God.
17:22You did it.
17:23Oh, my God.
17:23And this one looks nicer than yours.
17:25That one looks good.
17:26Ooh, Carly.
17:26Carly.
17:28Amazing job.
17:28Amazing job.
17:29Amazing job.
17:30You bless us with the luck, Carly.
17:31You know I have a move named after him?
17:33No.
17:34It's called the Hulk Logan.
17:35Oh, wow.
17:36Or the Hogan Paul.
17:38Dave.
17:38Can you show us on Dave?
17:43Dave's walking here saying, okay.
17:45Here, I'll hit you with a chop.
17:47A chop?
17:47All right.
17:48Oh, God.
17:51Ready?
17:52I'm ready.
17:53Oh, !
17:54Oh, !
17:55Oh, my God.
17:58Oh, my God.
17:59Oh, my God.
18:00Oh, my God.
18:01You okay?
18:02Good, man.
18:02I got you.
18:03I'm ready for another.
18:04I got you a little bit.
18:05That's nice.
18:05I got you.
18:06That's good.
18:06Oh, my God.
18:07Oops.
18:10So, what else are we breaking?
18:121980 Topps basketball.
18:14Larry Bird and Magic Johnson on the same rookie card.
18:17It's insane.
18:17With Dr. J.
18:18On the same card?
18:19On the same card.
18:20Could be in here.
18:21Yep.
18:21And here we go.
18:24Wait, it comes with one stick of bubble gum?
18:26It's 45-year-old bubble gum.
18:28I have to do it.
18:28It's like not gum.
18:33Dave Cowens, Lucas, Bill Cartwright, Elvin Hayes.
18:38Oh!
18:38What is it?
18:39What is it?
18:39What is it?
18:39I got it!
18:40No, shut up.
18:41Shut up.
18:41I got it!
18:42Shut up, Ken!
18:42What are you talking about?
18:44We got it.
18:44Shut up.
18:45Wait, what?
18:45We got it.
18:45No.
18:46We got it.
18:46We got it.
18:47We got it.
18:47I'm not finished opening up this pack yet.
18:50We just started.
18:51We're like five packs deep.
18:52Let's keep going.
18:53Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo.
18:55Yo.
18:55What?
18:55I have opened up two-thirds of this pack.
18:58Read the two names.
18:59Magic Johnson and Dr. J.
19:02Oh, my God.
19:03Oh, my God.
19:04We did it.
19:04Whoa!
19:05Oh, my God.
19:05Oh, my God.
19:06We did it again.
19:07Wait, wait.
19:07We just pulled two, Ken?
19:08We just pulled two.
19:10Dude, wait.
19:10What?
19:12I can pay for my wedding.
19:15She's nuts.
19:17Why are you coming as a king?
19:20Why are you coming as a god?
19:21When you know what we bring, you don't really want them all.
19:25So I'm a complete, like, I got to have them all.
19:29You don't have them all?
19:29No.
19:30Um, let me show you one of a kind over here.
19:33We've got just one of these.
19:35This is Harry and Meghan made for the royal wedding.
19:38Mm-hmm.
19:39Pez auctioned this one for Make-A-Wish in the UK,
19:41and I put a bid on it.
19:43Cost me quite a bit.
19:45But I'm not trying to sell this one.
19:47I am trying to find the other.
19:49They also made his brother and sister-in-law, Kate and William.
19:53So part of my goal is to figure out, how do I get the other two?
19:58So what you need us to do is to be able to sell one of the ones that you have
20:02so you can get one of the ones that you don't have.
20:05That's right.
20:06So Superman may be able to get me over the hump.
20:08This is the early days Superman.
20:12They never made these for retail sale.
20:15They intended to.
20:16It just never happened.
20:17Only four of them have surfaced.
20:20You can see they're numbered.
20:21Each of these is probably $20,000.
20:23But the price is really arbitrary.
20:25It's what you think they were.
20:26It is.
20:27That's right.
20:27You're going to have to sell that for $20,000 to establish a baseline.
20:30Because we do that with cards all the time.
20:32Well, the thing about this with the Pez is that, you know,
20:35how many Pez conventions and Pez shows are there?
20:38You know, we can open up the newspaper and find a baseball card show this weekend,
20:41but I bet you we won't find a Pez convention.
20:43No, you're right.
20:43These sales happen behind closed doors.
20:46You know, that's all I'm saying.
20:48It's a smaller market.
20:49It's a small world.
20:49And I know who I'm competing against.
20:51You guys all probably know each other.
20:52That's exactly what I'm saying.
20:53And that's why you need us.
20:54Because we know people who want to have things that other people don't have.
20:58And I tell you what, once that hits Golden
21:00and people realize that Golden is in the Pez business,
21:04people that can sign Pez are going to come out of the woodwork
21:07and that's going to help you complete this.
21:11I'd love to send you home with one of the supermen.
21:15I just got to figure out which one to send you home with.
21:18I like one.
21:19I think one is a good number.
21:20One is always a good number when you're talking about collectibles.
21:22Can you let go of that?
21:24If you're driving off with it today?
21:25Yes.
21:26You want to sell it, right?
21:28Brian still wants to build his collection.
21:30He's still got missing pieces,
21:32and he needs the money to get that missing piece.
21:34If we can get a good price on the supermen Pez,
21:36there's no question we can get a lot of money for the rest of these items.
21:40That first sale is like a crack in the dam.
21:43Sets the bar.
21:44That superman Pez is the first chip to fall.
21:47And when that one falls, we're going to get them all.
21:49And that's ultimately why we came here.
21:52I guarantee you we can get it sold, okay?
21:54All right.
21:54You know me as Robbie,
21:56and the hood they call me the Mac Daddy,
21:58aka the Shiznick, okay?
22:00I can get stuff sold.
22:04All right.
22:05Let's see what you guys can do.
22:06Believe me, we'll make it happen.
22:08All right, thank you.
22:08I'll get you a little box for this,
22:10and you guys will be in charge.
22:15Okay, so there's a little history lesson.
22:23A hundred and fifteen years ago,
22:26the American Tobacco Company
22:27changed the entire world of trading cards.
22:31They came out with a set that was designated T206.
22:35T, standing for tobacco.
22:38206, that was the sixth one designated,
22:40because they all started with the two.
22:42And they had all the greatest players
22:43that were playing at the turn of the century.
22:45Ty Cobb, Cy Young,
22:47Walter Johnson,
22:49Tris Speaker,
22:49and the greatest player in the National League,
22:54Honus Wagner.
22:56The T206, Honus Wagner,
22:58is the most famous
22:59and most valuable trading card in existence.
23:01Honus Wagner was the biggest superstar in baseball
23:05when the T206 set was produced.
23:07However, T206 cards were only issued in tobacco product.
23:12Honus did not want his picture
23:15used to promote tobacco products to kids.
23:18So he had his card pulled out of production,
23:21and it's estimated only a hundred were produced,
23:25and maybe less than 50 exist today.
23:28What I'm about to pull out
23:30is an original pack
23:37from 1909
23:40from the factory
23:42that produced
23:45the T206 set.
23:48In this pack,
23:50there is a chance
23:51of getting,
23:53potentially,
23:54Honus Wagner.
23:56It has been verified
23:58to have been produced
23:59during the era
24:01that T206 cards were manufactured
24:04in that exact factory.
24:06The box itself
24:07still has the original seal,
24:09which is incredibly rare,
24:11which means nobody
24:12has ever opened
24:13that pack of cigarettes
24:14to discover
24:15what lays inside.
24:17Who wants to see
24:19what is inside this pack?
24:21On eBay Live,
24:22you tell me right now.
24:23Open it.
24:23Let's go.
24:24Let's see.
24:24Open it.
24:25Open it.
24:25Open it.
24:26People are going nuts.
24:27People are going nuts.
24:27Can I hold it?
24:28You can hold it.
24:29Hold it carefully.
24:29I want to also show,
24:30like, this is ancient.
24:32Like, the font,
24:34it's yellowed,
24:35it's a little tarnished,
24:37but also intact,
24:38still sealed-like.
24:41This is crazy, dude.
24:42Isn't it nuts?
24:43This pack
24:44is going to be opened
24:46by Logan and myself.
24:50And to see what's inside,
24:52you're going to have to watch
24:56season three
24:57of King of Collectibles,
24:58The Golden Touch,
25:00when it comes out on Netflix.
25:03Clear.
25:03Clear.
25:04That was a great plug.
25:08So here's the deal.
25:09Goodbye, Dave.
25:11Goodbye, all of you.
25:12Like, literally.
25:12They're going to clear the room.
25:14What about for the vlog?
25:15This is all embargoed.
25:16Tell me to get out of here.
25:18Okay, get out of here.
25:18Get out of here.
25:19That's great.
25:20Get out of here.
25:20This is a secret.
25:21Get out of here.
25:22Okay?
25:22Oh, man.
25:23I mean, this is crazy, Ken.
25:25I know.
25:25This one's crazy.
25:27There's only one card in there?
25:28Supposed to be.
25:30Now, not every pack had a card.
25:31If we pull a Honus Wagner,
25:33a Honus Wagner, what does it do
25:34for the hobby?
25:35It alters it forever
25:36because everybody thinks
25:37that they know of every Honus Wagner.
25:39This is a horrible idea.
25:40Okay.
25:41It is a horrible idea.
25:43But I'm down.
25:43Have you done horrible ideas
25:46in your past?
25:47No, sir.
25:47Only good ones.
25:48Okay, okay, okay.
25:49There's no way we open this
25:51and there's nothing in it.
25:53Of course there is.
25:58Okay.
25:59Here we go.
26:00Once I cut it,
26:01there's no turning back.
26:02No, sir.
26:03No turning back.
26:03No, sir.
26:05I want to make sure I don't
26:07cut it.
26:08Okay.
26:08You crushed that.
26:09You could have been a surgeon.
26:10Yes.
26:12Okay.
26:12Well, as long as I cut it,
26:13actually, did I cut it?
26:14Yes, I did.
26:14Okay.
26:15Yeah.
26:16Here we go.
26:16Okay, so we...
26:17Oh, oh, oh.
26:18Okay, so that's where it is.
26:19So...
26:20I see a wrapper.
26:22I can't imagine
26:23they put it in a wrapper,
26:24but okay, who knows.
26:25Okay, so here we go.
26:26Here we go.
26:27Oh, God, I can't believe
26:33I just did that.
26:39Say a prayer to whatever
26:40you prayed to.
26:43Okay.
26:44Okay.
26:48Okay.
26:48Now, I don't know if it's inside
26:49or if it's loose.
26:51You know?
26:51Yeah.
26:54History is in your hands, brother.
26:55Okay.
26:57Those are cigarettes.
26:59Oh, man.
26:59This isn't looking good, Ken.
27:00No, it's not.
27:01These are cigarettes.
27:02Ugh.
27:03Oh, my God.
27:04There's nothing.
27:04There's nothing, Ken.
27:06Wait a second.
27:07Wait a second.
27:08Oh, my God.
27:10No, no way.
27:10Oh, my God.
27:14Oh, my God.
27:17Unbelievable.
27:19Oh, my God.
27:21Ken, there was nothing in there.
27:22I get this one.
27:24There was nothing in there.
27:25How much did you buy this for?
27:27$38,000.
27:28Damn.
27:31Oh, my God.
27:32Damn.
27:33Is there a chance
27:34that it's maybe still in here?
27:36Yeah.
27:37You search this thoroughly?
27:39Yes.
27:40Oh, my God.
27:43This can't be happening.
27:49There's no card in there.
27:53I'm in freaking shock.
27:54I look at Logan.
27:56I see devastation.
27:58So, how about I try
28:00and make some money back?
28:02Yeah, that'd be good.
28:03Okay?
28:04You've been taking a beating.
28:05Let me help you up.
28:07All right.
28:09Oh, my God.
28:10Please.
28:10Oh, my God.
28:17I can't believe you just did that.
28:21I don't cry.
28:22I laugh.
28:23This guy's freaking out.
28:25I am freaking out.
28:26I can't believe I just opened up
28:27$38,000 in air.
28:30Now, I need to hope
28:31that this is never seen by anybody
28:33because do you know how...
28:35Yeah, I do.
28:36Yeah.
28:36Don't worry.
28:36No one's going to see this.
28:37I am dying.
28:44Should we stop breaking open stuff?
28:46No, but look.
28:48You know, you don't make money every time.
28:49Yes, sir.
28:50We still may make money
28:51with the Hogans and the Byrds.
28:54Honestly, I think now's a good time.
28:57I'd like to talk to you
28:57about what's around your neck.
29:01Let's go to my office.
29:02Let's talk real business,
29:04like multi-millions,
29:05and let's try and get a deal done on that.
29:07Okay?
29:07Okay.
29:09The Pikachu illustrator
29:11is the most valuable
29:12and the most sought after
29:13of all Pokemon cards.
29:15I was unsuccessful
29:17in my first time trying for it.
29:19If I said I got $7.5 million for you,
29:21would you take it?
29:21Oh, my God, Ken.
29:24Can I think about it?
29:25You can think about it.
29:26I think now is the right time
29:28to ask again
29:29and see if we can sell that on Golden.
29:32That was fun.
29:33It was fun.
29:34So, any guess why I told you
29:36to bring that with you?
29:38Yeah, I think I could piece it together.
29:40It wasn't for luck.
29:42Obviously not.
29:43So, look,
29:45Pokemon market is blazing hot.
29:48I know.
29:49You know, it's dominating the market.
29:51That's the number one card.
29:54If you're ever going to move it,
29:57now is the time.
29:58So, I hear you,
30:02but this card means a lot to me.
30:05Like, I walked out
30:07to my WrestleMania debut
30:08wearing this card around my neck.
30:10Yep.
30:11And it is the grail
30:13of the number one
30:15popular franchise in the world,
30:17Pokemon, right?
30:18It's, like, it's the card.
30:20It's the only PSA 10.
30:21Well, look, you have a baby,
30:23you have a wife,
30:24you got responsibilities.
30:25Don't forget about the wedding, bro.
30:26Exactly, exactly.
30:28The wedding is expensive.
30:29I mean, I mean,
30:30can I just be transparent?
30:31Sure.
30:32I'm not a reseller.
30:33Yep.
30:34Like, if I buy something,
30:35I'm a collector.
30:35You've never sold, I know.
30:36No, ever.
30:37I know.
30:38But, candidly,
30:40I could use the liquidity.
30:42I'm good at making money.
30:44Yep.
30:44I'm better at spending money.
30:46You know?
30:47Yep.
30:47And you guys
30:49aren't the only auction place.
30:50Yep.
30:51I could maybe find a private buyer.
30:54Well,
30:54I thought about it a lot.
30:57I want to do
30:58the biggest
30:59Pokemon and TCG auction ever.
31:02I will give you a piece
31:03of every single thing
31:05that we sell
31:06in that auction.
31:07We'll make that lot number one.
31:09We're going to use that
31:10as the honey
31:11to draw
31:12all the other
31:14bees
31:14to it.
31:15So if I have
31:16a $25 million auction
31:18and you're getting
31:19a piece of it,
31:20all that gets added.
31:22It's like a royalty, right?
31:23I mean, you know,
31:23it's free money.
31:27I hear you.
31:28Mm-hmm.
31:29I'm a little 50-50 on it.
31:31And look,
31:32I'd love to do business with you.
31:34I'm just saying,
31:35I think the deal
31:36needs to be sweet.
31:38Mm-hmm.
31:38That's all I'm saying.
31:39Okay.
31:40Well, what if you...
31:41Look,
31:41since I know
31:43that you, like,
31:44want cash now,
31:45what if you can
31:46walk out of here
31:46with a check
31:47for $1.5 million?
31:48Okay.
31:52Um...
31:54Mm...
31:57Mm...
32:00You went for the long haul
32:04or when you fall
32:05When you meet your match
32:06would you stand up and brawl
32:08Will you have your heart
32:09to answer the call
32:10Win against the odds
32:12that you stand up tall
32:13Quick in the beat
