00:21Scooby-Doo is running from a spooky ghost, Shaggy isn't doing what he does the most. Hey, come on, get it loud, till the mystery is on. Hang around for Scooby-Doo.
00:34Hey, come on, get it loud, till the mystery is solved. Hang around for Scooby-Doo. That's my pal, Scooby-Doo-Bee-Doo.
01:04Hmm?
01:27Wow, with a steep and windy road like this, it's a wonder anyone comes up here to ski.
01:32I hope we get to town soon. We're almost out of gas.
01:35Not only that, our heater's out and it's 20 below outside.
01:40And 30 below inside.
01:42Huh? 30 below?
01:47Herbie's Hamburger Place, one mile ahead in Winter Haven.
01:51Terrific town. We'll be able to gas up there.
01:55And we're saved from a fate worse than freezing, Scoob. It's only 5,280 feet to our 50 millionth hamburger.
02:0250 millionth hamburger?
02:05Oh, boy. Like we've hit the hamburger jackpot.
02:10That dog.
02:15Welcome to Winter Haven.
02:17Well, we made it.
02:19Does anyone notice anything strange about this town?
02:22Yeah, the whole town is blacked out.
02:25And deserted. It's like a ghost town.
02:28A ghost town?
02:30Oh.
02:33The gas station's closed and our gas tank's practically empty.
02:36Worse yet, Herbie's Hamburger Place is closed too.
02:39And my stomach is absolutely empty.
02:46Uh-oh. There went the last drop of gas.
02:50Looks like we'll just have to hike to the next gas station.
02:53Hike!
02:54It could be 50 miles before we find one.
02:57Shag is right.
02:59Guess we'll just have to spend the night here.
03:01We should be able to get help in the morning.
03:04In this tin freezer?
03:07Look. There's a light in the ski lodge.
03:10That's a light.
03:11Cold beggars can't be choosers, Shag.
03:14Right. Any old port in the snowstorm.
03:19See anyone inside, Scoob?
03:21Oh.
03:22Yipes!
03:23That cold glass stuck to Scooby's cold nose.
03:26Huh?
03:27Pull back, Scooby!
03:32Oh!
03:37Yay!
03:42Zoinks!
03:43The abominable Furman!
03:47Sorry I frightened you, kids.
03:49Come in out of the cold.
03:51Thank you, sir.
03:52Come in out of the cold.
03:55Into the colder.
03:56Colder?
03:58I'm Mayor Dudley, kids.
04:00And I apologize because we have no power for heat or lights.
04:04So we've noticed.
04:05What happened, Mayor Dudley?
04:07It's all because of the 10,000-volt ghost.
04:1010,000-volt ghost?
04:13It's a strange story, kids.
04:16You see, this was once a popular ski resort.
04:22Then one day, we had a violent winter storm.
04:28And one of the high-tension wires was blown down.
04:31Mr. Collins, he's the owner of the power and light company, was anxious to get the power restored.
04:38In spite of the violent storm, Mr. Collins ordered his chief electrician, Voltner, to repair the downed high-tension line.
04:46Voltner climbed the power pole alone.
04:50As Mayor, I too was anxious to have the power restored and join Collins.
04:55Suddenly, there was a violent short circuit, which overloaded the circuit breakers and blew out all the transformers.
05:03We ran out to see if Voltner was all right.
05:06But he was gone.
05:09He vanished completely.
05:14Oh, wow.
05:15Was that the last you ever saw of Mr. Voltner?
05:18Unfortunately, no.
05:20His ghost started showing up, looking for revenge on the town and the power company.
05:27You mean the 10,000-volt ghost, sir?
05:30In the flesh.
05:32Or, you might say, in the flash.
05:39It didn't take him long to scare everyone away and turn this little resort into a ghost town.
05:45That does it.
05:46I'm getting out of here.
05:47You, too.
05:49Hold it, you two.
05:50We're out of gas, remember?
05:52Oh, boy.
05:53Out of gas, out of lights, out of heat, out of food, and...
05:56We gotta be out of our minds to stick around here.
06:01But if you're looking for a place to stay, you're welcome to spend the night here, kids.
06:06Thanks, Mayor Dudley.
06:07We'd appreciate that.
06:08But I would advise you to leave as soon as possible.
06:13Thanks for the warning, sir.
06:14But we're pretty good at solving mysteries.
06:17And maybe we can thaw this one out for you.
06:19Like first thing in the morning, Freddy, right?
06:21Wrong.
06:22Like right now.
06:28It looks like somebody opened this gate with a blowtorch.
06:31Yeah.
06:32And here's something else that's awfully strange.
06:34A clue?
06:35This is all new snow.
06:37Why should there be an icy trail through it?
06:39What caused it?
06:40And why would it lead right to the power plant?
06:43Come on.
06:44But be careful, Shag.
06:46It's slippery.
06:47Don't worry about me.
06:48They don't call me old surefoot for nothing.
06:52Whoa!
06:53Huh?
06:55Huh?
07:00Zoinks!
07:01We're headed for the door.
07:02Oh-ho-ho!
07:03Do something, Scoob!
07:04Huh?
07:09Well, the trail stopped at the door.
07:12But Shaggy and Scooby didn't.
07:14Wow.
07:17Sure is creepy in here.
07:19Just once I'd like to meet a ghost in a nice, friendly place.
07:23Come on.
07:24We've got to start looking for clues.
07:34What is it, Fred?
07:35Shhh!
07:36Look!
07:37Zoinks!
07:38The 10,000-volt ghost!
07:40This looks like a job for Scooby-Doo.
07:43Me?
07:44Uh-oh!
07:45No way!
07:46You've got to do it, Scoob.
07:48You're the only dog in the group.
07:50What if we give you a Scooby snack?
07:58Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle!
08:04Uh-oh!
08:05Uh-oh!
08:06Uh-oh!
08:07Uh-oh!
08:08Uh-oh!
08:09Uh-oh!
08:10Uh-oh!
08:11Uh-oh!
08:12Uh-oh!
08:13Uh-oh!
08:14Uh-oh!
08:15Uh-oh!
08:16Uh-oh!
08:17Uh-oh!
08:18Now let go!
08:19Stop it!
08:20Yahoo!
08:21Like Scooby-Doo'd it!
08:23Attaboy, Scoob!
08:24We knew you could do it!
08:25Oh, it sucks!
08:26That was nothing!
08:27Get this kooky canine off of me!
08:31Oh, boy!
08:32He doesn't sound like a ghost!
08:34Who are you, sir?
08:36My name is Collins, and I own this plant!
08:39Mr. Collins?
08:41Ooh?
08:43Gee, we're sorry, Mr. Collins.
08:46What are you doing here this time of night, sir?
08:49I was trying to repair that generator.
08:51Every time I get one fixed,
08:53that ghost short-circuits it again.
08:56Never mind what I was doing here.
08:59What are you kids doing here?
09:01We're trying to capture the 10,000-volt ghost.
09:04Well, I hope you have better luck than I did.
09:09For a man who has a ghost after him,
09:11he certainly doesn't act very frightened.
09:14Well, we won't find that ghost
09:16by standing around here shivering.
09:19Let's split up and look for clues.
09:21We can cover more frozen ground that way.
09:23Shag?
09:24We know, we know.
09:25Shaggy, you and Scooby go that way.
09:28And we'll go this way.
09:31And our way always seems to be the scariest.
09:42What is it, Scoob?
09:43Are you on to something?
09:46Uh-huh.
09:52Like they hit the jackpot, Scoob?
09:54Oh, boy, this must be the employee's kitchen.
09:58And these must be the employee's hamburgers.
10:00Oh, boy, hamburgers.
10:03The only trouble is they're frozen stiff as a macro.
10:06A couple of hamburgers might just calm our nerves, Scoob.
10:10Now, all we've got to do is find something to cook them on.
10:15We're in luck.
10:16I found the battery-powered hot plate.
10:24Stop, Scoob.
10:25This may take a few minutes.
10:31It's him.
10:32It's him.
10:33It's him.
10:34There are no clues here.
10:48So far, we're batting zero.
10:50Zero?
10:51You mean 30 below zero in this deep freeze.
10:57Shaggy, Scoob.
10:59Did you find any clues?
11:00Did we find any clues?
11:05Show him, Scoob.
11:09There's a ghost.
11:17Let's get out of here.
11:27Good thing Scooby's not afraid of heights.
11:29Nice?
11:34Now you did it.
11:38Nice going, Scoob.
11:40Nice going is right.
11:41He dropped us right onto a clue.
11:44They look like sunflower seeds to me.
11:47They taste like sunflower seeds.
11:50They are sunflower seeds.
11:52These clues are for the birds.
11:55For the birds, got it?
11:56Yeah.
11:59But that's what makes them mysterious.
12:01You'd only expect to find them in a bird cage.
12:04Or in a pet shop.
12:05I saw one when we drove into town.
12:08A pet shop?
12:09Velma, you, Shaggy, and Scooby go check it out.
12:13While you're doing that, Daphne and I will have a look around the mysteriously missing Mr. Fultner's house.
12:17Won't this snowmobile go any faster than this?
12:23Without any gas? What do you expect?
12:25Do these things have brakes on them?
12:35You're the driver. Don't you know?
12:38What? No!
12:39No!
12:46Quiet!
12:51I believe the seeds we found are identical with the ones we found in the power plant.
12:56I'll see.
13:04Uh-huh.
13:05Thanks, Scooby.
13:06I appreciate your expert diagnosis.
13:11Yikes!
13:12The ghost! Let's hide!
13:13You monsters! There's enough room for all of us to hide in here.
13:26You hammy hamsters can relax.
13:29This was the voice of the ghost.
13:31Pretty good, eh?
13:33Want to hear John Wayne?
13:36Like, wow!
13:38I'll bet this bird knows something about the ghost.
13:40Let's see if we can get him to talk.
13:49That's the craziest idea I ever heard.
13:53Now hear this, bird.
13:56We want the truth.
13:57The whole truth and nothing but the truth.
14:00Like, do you want a singer or do you want us to send you up the river?
14:03Oh, yeah.
14:05I'm a parrot, not a stool pigeon.
14:07Uh-uh.
14:09Let me see now.
14:11Good, uh, parrot, right?
14:13Of course I'm a parrot.
14:15What do I look like?
14:17A hummingbird?
14:19Well, that is sunflower seeds.
14:20I'm hungry.
14:22Scooby, will you quit that?
14:24One more question.
14:26All right, you clown.
14:27Let me try.
14:29Parrot, throw some clues at us.
14:31Okay.
14:32Rubber suit.
14:33Rubber suit.
14:34Rubber suit?
14:35Tunnel.
14:36Tunnel.
14:37Tunnel.
14:38Tunnel.
14:39Rubber suit?
14:40Tunnel?
14:41Closet.
14:43Closet?
14:45Okay.
14:46What have we got to lose?
14:49Rubber suit.
14:50Wow.
14:51A scuba diver's wetsuit.
14:53Like that's weird.
14:54There's no water within a hundred miles of here.
14:57Pull it out, Scooby.
14:58Let's have a better look at it.
15:00Hey, there's a secret door in the back of the closet.
15:11Rubber suit.
15:12Tunnel.
15:13This door leads to a hidden tunnel.
15:15That parrot's batting a thousand so far.
15:22Zoinks.
15:23So is the ghost.
15:24We're locked in.
15:25Doesn't look like anyone's been here since Vaulkner disappeared.
15:34Come on.
15:35Let's look around.
15:37Found anything yet, Daphne?
15:38I sure have.
15:39I found that this place is a mess and so's my hair.
15:46Hey, Fred.
15:47Part of a letter was hidden behind this mirror.
15:49Look.
15:50Whereas running southwesterly, parcels 27, 28, 43, 44, and 45.
15:59Hmm.
16:00Looks like a clue, but we'll have to find out what it really means.
16:07We're doomed.
16:08Trapped.
16:09We can't get out.
16:10Will you stop that?
16:11This tunnel's got to lead somewhere.
16:14Yeah.
16:15Probably to the underside of a graveyard.
16:17Oh.
16:18Oh.
16:19Oh.
16:20I hate dark, scary, spooky tunnels.
16:22Oh.
16:25Hello.
16:27Hello.
16:28Anybody there?
16:31No.
16:33Come on.
16:34There's nothing to be afraid of.
16:40Hey.
16:41Like there's a ladder.
16:42Let's start climbing.
16:44Good.
16:45Just as I thought.
16:47We're back in the power plant.
16:49What's good about that?
16:50It's a clue.
16:51Come on.
16:52Let's find Daphne and Fred and tell them what we found.
16:57Oh.
16:58I'm glad you came here, kids.
17:00What did you find?
17:01A bunch of clues, Mayor Dudley.
17:03A diver's wetsuit.
17:04Some bird seed.
17:06Tunnel.
17:07Tunnel.
17:08And a tunnel that goes from the pet shop to the power plant.
17:11Really?
17:12What does it all mean?
17:14We don't know yet.
17:15But I think that torn letter we found is a key to solving the mystery.
17:19Perhaps we'll know tomorrow, Mayor.
17:21I'll check this out in the real estate records at the courthouse.
17:25Never mind, Mr. Collins.
17:26We'll check it out.
17:27Right now.
17:34Like what are we looking for?
17:36A record book that will explain that torn letter.
17:39This wraps it up, gang.
17:41This is the one.
17:42This is the one.
17:45It's the ghost.
17:46He's after the book.
17:47You'll never get it.
17:48Catch, Shaggy.
17:50Run, Scoob!
17:52Whoa!
17:54He's gaining on us.
17:56Oops.
17:57Γ¨!
17:58It simous.
17:59By the time, the
18:20Keep running, Scooby.
18:33Oh, Fred, glad we ran into you.
18:36We hung on to the book and ditched the electric monster.
18:39Good work, you two.
18:41Now we're ready to capture ourselves a ghost.
18:45Like, what's the wire for, Fred?
18:47Well, Shag, in school,
18:49I learned to make an electromagnet.
18:51It's perfectly harmless.
18:53If we can drop this coil of wire over the ghost,
18:56the action of his electrical current on the opposing poles
18:59will turn him into a powerful electromagnet.
19:02And he'll stick tightly to any large chunk of metal, right?
19:05Right.
19:06And he'll have a real magnetic personality, huh, Fred?
19:12Now to set the track,
19:13we'll need a pair of skis, a bobsled,
19:15and some snow to make a ski run in here.
19:19I'm all set up here.
19:22Are you girls ready to roll?
19:23As ready as we'll ever be,
19:25considering we're the bait for this trap.
19:28Now all you have to do is get the ghost
19:30to chase you under this catwalk.
19:32Then it's up to me, Shaggy, and Scooby to do the rest.
19:35I hope the ghost shows up.
19:37He'll show up, all right,
19:38as long as we have this evidence.
19:40Let's go.
19:41Let's go.
19:41Here he comes.
19:50And here we go.
19:57Here he comes, Fred.
19:59Shaggy, Scooby, you're on.
20:19Gotcha.
20:20Take him away, Shag.
20:21We'll meet you at the jailhouse.
20:22We got him, Scooby.
20:35Yeah.
20:37Yikes.
20:37A runaway ghost fall.
20:40Faster.
20:42Faster.
20:43Look out.
20:44Oops.
20:45Oops.
20:47Whoa.
20:49We're on the ski jump.
20:50What's going on here?
21:09Would you believe a 10,000-volt ghost?
21:14That's a 10,000-volt ghost?
21:16About 10 volts now, Sheriff.
21:18You see, melting that snow short-circuited the batteries on his do-it-yourself ghost suit
21:23and ran him down.
21:24Let's see who he really is.
21:27It's Valtner.
21:29Oh, I declare.
21:31It is Valtner.
21:32And he's through doing your dirty work for you, Mayor.
21:35Oh, I...
21:36What in the world are you talking about, my dear?
21:39I'm talking about this letter,
21:42which mentions something running southwesterly through parcels 27 to 45.
21:47And I'm talking about this records book,
21:50which shows that you bought up parcels 25 through 45.
21:54Dirt cheap.
21:55Pretty smart, Mayor.
21:57When you found out a freeway was going through those parcels,
22:00you knew that land would be worth a fortune.
22:02So you and Valtner made up that phony disappearing act of his.
22:06Then Valtner used his scuba diver's rubber suit
22:10to insulate himself against electricity.
22:13And with this battery pack,
22:14like, turned himself into the 10,000-volt ghost.
22:19Hmm.
22:20Then he used the pet shop as a hideout
22:23and the tunnel to get into the power plant unseen.
22:26And that's how he was able to sabotage the generators
22:29and scare everyone into selling out cheap.
22:32Birdseed! Birdseed!
22:33That's right, Scooby.
22:35Too bad those birdseeds stuck to his shoes
22:37and gave the whole plan away.
22:39Too bad, indeed.
22:41We would have gotten away with it
22:42if it hadn't been for you meddling kids.
22:48Hang in there, Scooby-Doo!
22:50Well, gang, with the power on again
22:58and the pumps working,
22:59I guess we're ready to leave.
23:01Where's Scooby?
23:02Like he wanted one last ski run down the slopes.
23:05Here he comes now.
23:08Scooby-Doo-Boo!
23:11Uh-oh!
23:13I know Scooby's a dog,
23:18but a hot dogger?
23:19Ah-oh!
23:21Oh-oh!
23:33Oh-oh!
23:34Oh-oh!
23:35Oh-oh!
23:36Oh-oh!
