00:00Jeffrey Epstein should have and could have been stopped much sooner. That is a simple fact. Just
00:07how much sooner is up for debate? But we're now learning that the FBI knew about the creep's
00:13interest in child pornography for nearly a decade before he faced significant investigation. That
00:20was during the Clinton administration. A woman by the name of Maria Farmer was hired by Epstein
00:25nearly 30 years ago to help him purchase art. She filed a complaint against him on September 3rd,
00:311996, but got no response. Farmer's story was finally corroborated by the release of the files.
00:38While her name was redacted, a file summarizing her complaint is now public. Farmer had a small
00:43collection of pictures that she'd taken of her 12 and 16-year-old sisters. These were for her
00:49personal art. They were never meant to see the light of day. She said Epstein not only stole them,
00:54but he also sold the photos, which have been described as X-rated. The files go on to reveal
01:01that Epstein requested that she take pictures of young girls at swimming pools and then threatened,
01:06quote, if she tells anyone about the photos, he will burn her house down. Again, the name has been
01:12redacted here, but it's believed that it is all in reference to Farmer, and it certainly seems to
01:18corroborate her story. Brad Edwards, a lawyer who's worked with several Epstein victims, is calling for a
01:23full investigation into why Farmer's initial complaint, again back in 1996, was seemingly
01:30swept under the rug.
