00:00As the clamor to read through the three million new pages of Epstein Files continues,
00:05President Trump has lashed out at discredited author Michael Wolff, who he says conspired
00:09with Epstein to try and destroy his political career. The president says the proof is in the
00:14pudding, which in this case means contained in the newly released documents. Here's what he had
00:19to say about it on Air Force One over the weekend. I was told by some very important people that
00:24not only does it absolve me, it's the opposite of what people were hoping, you know, the radical
00:2911th, that Wolff, who's a third-rate writer, was conspiring with Jeffrey Epstein to hurt me
00:37politically or otherwise. And that came through loud and clear. So we'll probably sue Wolff by that.
00:44The president also suggested that he could sue the Epstein estate over the issue.
00:48Now, this particular part of Epstein gate began in February of 2016, when Michael Wolff suggested
00:55that Jeffrey Epstein could be the, quote, bullet to end Trump's first campaign. Wolff also floated
01:01the idea that Epstein had the power to intimidate Trump for his own benefit. When Wolff was confronted
01:06about the sorts of things he said to Epstein, he said he no longer remembered the context in which
01:11he said it.
