The New South Wales Premier Chris Minns has recalled the state's parliament to debate gun control laws next week. The proposed bill would cap the number of firearms a licensed shooter can own, reclassify weapon types, and remove avenues of appeal. The Premier says the government will also look into laws surrounding applications for protests following terrorist attacks.
