00:00The charge against Thomas John Jones dates back to March 2015, when he would have been 17 years of age.
00:06Now 27, he came to court here in Swansea this morning dressed in a dark suit and tie.
00:12The charge under the 2006 Fraud Act was read to him that he was knowingly involved in dog breeding with the intention to defraud people.
00:20The charge included seeking to hide the true identity of dogs which were being sold
00:24and or providing false or misleading documentation with the animals.
00:30After the charge was read to him, he answered in a clear voice, guilty.
00:34Another defendant, 55-year-old Nerys Wyn Davies from Penrwy, Llan, Ceredigion, also pleaded guilty to the same charge at a hearing last week.
00:43Both will be sentenced at a later date.
00:45Three other defendants, 37-year-old David Bethel from Llandysil, 39-year-old Cara Barrett from Cymarthen and David Peter Jones, who is 77 and from Llandysil,
00:55all admitted responsibility for the same charge and received a caution.
01:00The prosecution decided not to offer any evidence against 71-year-old Margaret Ann Jones from Llandysil and she was formally found not guilty by the judge.
01:10Five other people will face a trial.
01:13They are Sarah Pritchard Davies, who is 28 and a former winner of S4C's Carnie-Gymry competition,
01:19a county councillor Eiros Davies, who is 60 and from Llanabydder,
01:23Rydian Davies, 28, from Pren Gwyn, Llandysil, 29-year-old Delith Mathias from Cardiff and Rebecca Bailey, who is 30, from Llangranog.
01:32That trial is expected to happen in November next year.
