16:24While coming back to from the south we continue with more information the united nature's General assembly .
16:28The United Nations General Assembly on Monday adopted a resolution by majority that reaffirms the Palestinian people's right to self-determination.
16:36The resolution, which received the support of 164 countries, represents an international stance that rejects all Israeli occupation and settlement practices that hinder the Palestinian people's ability to exercise their right to self-determination and live with dignity and an independent state.
16:54The resolution, which also refers to the ruling of the International Court of Justice confirming the illegality of the Israeli occupation, received only eight opposing votes from Israel.
17:07The United States, Micronesia, Argentina, Paraguay, Papua New Guinea, Palau and Nauru, along with the abstentions from nine other countries.
17:17And the International Criminal Court rejected this Monday a new appeal filed by the genocidal Israeli government to halt the investigations into the crimes committed in the Gaza Strip.
17:33The decision was made by the Appeals Chamber, which upheld previous rulings and confirmed that there are no legal grounds to suspend the court's investigations.
17:43The judges determined that no new situation has arisen that would require the prosecution to restart the process or issue an additional notification to Israel.
17:53Furthermore, the ruling reaffirms that the examination of the facts can cover events that occurred after the start of the military offensive in Gaza, maintaining also the arrest warrants issued last year against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
18:09An Israeli court rejected Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's request to cancel his appearance at a hearing for his corruption trial.
18:25During a session held this Monday, the Israeli Prime Minister announced his intention to retire early from the hearings,
18:32under the pretext that he was busy meeting with the U.S. envoy to Syria, Tom Barak, as part of a political and security agenda.
18:40However, the judges expressed their discontent with the motion and the prosecution moved forward with the interrogation of Netanyahu on charges of fraud and breach of trust.
18:51The legal event coincides with the proceedings of the International Court of Justice, which issued an arrest warrant against Netanyahu for war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
