02:16all the drugs through his banana companies to the united states and europe 70 of the cocaine
02:22lives from the ports of daniel novoa's personal and family business that is the truth but yesterday
02:29the mask fell off in the united states they were already saying it was a lie they are going after
02:36venezuela for oil if venezuela did not have the largest oil reserves in the world venezuela would
02:45not exist for the multi-millionaires and supremacists of the united states para los multimillonarios
02:51supremacists of the united states they want to steal venezuela's oil and not pay for it but since the
03:04time of bolívar by presidential decree everything beneath the ground whether gold minerals oil or gas
03:11belongs to the sovereign people of venezuela by constitutional mandate and no one and nothing
03:17will be able to steal the people's natural resources and wealth
03:24and we continue in venezuela as the ministry of interior justice and peace reported that the united
03:29states government unilaterally decided to suspend the repatriation flights for venezuelan nationals
03:35scheduled for this friday the flight cancellations interrupts the process that had been developed in
03:40a coordinated manner to facilitate the safe return of detained or irregular nationals in the united states
03:48in this regard venezuelan authorities pointed out that the measure creates uncertainty among families
03:53who were looking forward to the reunion the venezuelan government is confident that washington will reverse
04:00the decision and resume the repatriation plan at the same time it reiterated its willingness to receive
04:06its citizens and guarantee support for their reintegration reaffirming its commitment to
04:12protect venezuelans inside and outside the country
04:22in the united states senior democrat lawmakers condemned the trump administration's increasingly
04:27aggressive military actions in the caribbean following the seizure of the venezuelan oil tanker off
04:32the south american country's coast several democrat senators drew attention to the attacks that allowed
04:41and were allowed by the government of the united states and also questioned the seizure order and
04:46action they believe could lead to war with venezuela maryland senator chris van holland
04:51warned this issue indicates that the white house is being dishonest about its military operations in the
04:57region and called for a congressional vote on the president's actions in addition van holland
05:02ensure trump's alleged war on drugs is an excuse to interfere in venezuela's internal affairs
05:12i think it's an it's an escalation you you could look at just that and say well what about the
05:18rationale for that but it's all part of a pattern you know the boat strikes the threats land invasion
05:23could be next seizing the oil tanker so it is an escalation and it it you know continues to
05:30demonstrate congress needs to take this up we haven't had a single public hearing either in formulations
05:34or armed services and we shouldn't be at war without a vote of congress their claims that this is about
05:40going after drugs or holding people accountable for the drugs is just a bunch of nonsense it's a cover
05:45story and what happened with the ship is an example of how that's just a cover story the real goal here is
05:52there's clearly regime change in venezuela and accomplishing regime change by force and if that
06:00is the case this requires obviously congressional action under the war on thursday in the united
06:07kingdom labor party member of parliament jeremy corbyn called on prime minister keir starmer's
06:13government to speak out against the serious act of piracy perpetrated by the united states against
06:19venezuela minister think responsible the government is extraordinarily low key acquiescent to a
06:26declaration by the u.s that it gives itself the right to interfere in the internal affairs of any
06:31country around the world that it thinks it doesn't agree with this is an extraordinary state of affairs
06:38and will she make any comment on the what is actually an act of piracy by the u.s in the caribbean
06:43by seizing an oil tanker and taking into its custody with no basis in international law for
06:50that action no basis of any kind of military threats the united states being made and it seems to me to
06:57be wholly illegal within internet and on thursday the iranian foreign ministry spokesman esmail bagay
07:03condemned the u.s action as illegal and unjustified one day after the seizure bagay declared that
07:10invoking u.s domestic laws and unlawful sanctions to justify such an action can in no way alter the
07:17illegal and criminal nature of the armed robbery at sea moreover bagay stressed that the united states
07:24seizure and confiscation of commercial vessels belonging to other countries constitutes a blatant
07:31disregard for international law and a gross violation of the principles governing the security and safety
07:38of international navigation
07:47meanwhile the chinese foreign ministry rejected the unilateral sanctions imposed by the united states
07:52against six of its oil tankers following the seizure of the venezuelan oil tanker in this context
07:59the foreign ministry spokesman hua yang kun said that the unilateral illegal measures imposed by the
08:06white house pose a threat to national security and violate international law the spokesman also assured
08:13we have more information in this that china opposes the abusive use of so-called sanctions as a tool for
08:20political or economic pressure since the united states began its military deployment in the caribbean
08:26near venezuela china has rejected interference in internal affairs that affect sovereignty security and
08:33stability following its strategic partnership with caracas
08:42now we have a short break coming up but first remember you can join us on tick tock at tell us
08:46ringlish where you will find news in different formats news updates and much more we'll be right back stay with us
09:00welcome back to from the south we continue with more information in honduras president
09:15jomara castro condemned the interference of the united states government in the electoral process and
09:20repudiated the attempt to affront the country's dignity during her speech at the event for the
09:26vicentennial of the army the head of state recognized the democratic spirit of the honduran military
09:33recently tested by the aggressions promoted from washington the president who became the first woman
09:38to assume the presidency with a historic record of votes strongly rejected u.s interference and the
09:44attempts to offend the dignity of the honduran people the honduran president also assured that the
09:50interventionist agenda of the united states prevented the people from freely expressing their will in the
09:56recent election
10:05the work done by the armed forces with sensibility but firmness
10:08i recognized contributed to guaranteeing peace order and security
10:20precisely at a time of enormous political and social tension
10:23when we resisted with stoicism but great indignation the brazen foreign interference
10:40of u.s president donald trump in our elections
10:43his threats hindered the free suffrage and prevented the people from expressing their will freely
10:55in other news a judge in the u.s district of maryland has ruled that the abuses that were
11:00suffered by saboteur and migrant kilmar abrigo garcia under the trump administration were surrounded
11:06by illegalities magistrate paulatinis ordered his immediate release noting that abrigo had been detained
11:12multiple times without proper legal authorization the ruling also highlighted contradictions in the
11:19government's claim that his detention was intended for deportation abrigo like more than 200 venezolan
11:25citizens had been held in the salvador secot facility the department of homeland security announced it will appeal
11:33the decision
11:34and we go now to bolivia because the prosecutor's office investigating an alleged embezzlement of the
11:46indigenous fund has requested three months of preventive detention for former president luis alce
11:52who was arrested on wednesday in la paz analysts are warning that reviving this case may amount to an early
11:59act of political persecution by the new government our correspondent freddie morales with the details
12:08former president luis arce remains in custody at this police facility following his arrest on wednesday
12:14the prosecutor handling the case has requested that he be held for three months in a prison located 30
12:20kilometers outside the city the investigations established responsibility on the part of mr luis arce as
12:29former minister since he was the one who financed executed and approved disbursements into private
12:34accounts for projects that were never completed as for the economic damage based on the documentation
12:39currently held by the public prosecutor's office we are talking about nine million but that's only a
12:44preliminary figure the total amount is still unknown the investigation into the case known as the
12:53indigenous fund dates back more than eight years and has already been examined both in court and by the
12:59legislative assembly it has now been reopened with former president luis arce as the main accused along
13:05with arrest warrants issued for five other individuals we don't want to believe that the government of
13:11rodrigo past carried out this arrest as smoking to cover up the crisis that continues to affect the bolivian
13:16people we're still standing lines this is still short of a few and this is what they should be focusing on
13:28political analysis has warned that the arrest of former president luis arce to reopen investigations
13:34was an early and ill-advised decision
13:39Rodrigo Paz has repeatedly said that first there should be an investigation and then prosecution
13:46but in this case what has been done is to first arrest the former president and now
13:52presumably investigate
13:59i do not believe that this is a viable political course of action
14:07following the arrest of the former president allies of the center-right government launched a
14:11campaign calling for former president
14:14evo morales who governed the country in 2018 to also be included in the case and detained
14:24morales is also being summoned initially as a witness but when a prosecutor says first as a
14:28witness it is clear that later he'll be treated as a defendant it is unfortunate that the past pereira
14:34government has chosen to take these accelerated steps at a time when it could have played a different
14:39role role the administration has a very contradictory internal composition it is not a cohesive government
14:46it even has a major rival within its own ranks the vice president himself
14:51i believe this is a political mistake regardless of the legal form they try to give it
15:01conflicting figures surround the indigenous
15:03the indigenous fund case the minister of government stated that there was mismanagement of about 50
15:11million dollars a sum that could rise to 700 million and said former president luis arce would face charges
15:18for five crimes in contrast the prosecutor's indictment cites to alleged offenses and an economic loss of just over
15:26one million dollars freddy morales telesur bolivia and we continue with nicaragua as the ministry of
15:36development industry and trade of that nation reported record exports the country earned eight
15:41billion u.s dollars in this area from january to november of 2025. according to the ministry's director of
15:48foreign trade maricruz pietro the figure represents a 16 percent increase on the same period of 2024.
15:56according to the report exports totaled almost five billion dollars in the general regime alone
16:02excluding the free trade zones which is another historic high for this segment although december
16:09has yet to be accounted for the mifis maintains the favorable expectations regarding export growth
16:17among the most dynamic products were coffee beef gold textiles and lobster as well

20:26would touch the devices without knowing the level of danger the organization also noted that its teams
20:32faces daily risks related to explosives in different areas of the gaza strip
20:43and in thailand prime minister anutin chanvirakul dissolved the parliament on friday and announced
20:49new elections for early 2026 the decision comes as the country faces deadly clashes with neighboring
20:56cambodia national media reported that the premier has signaled his intentions on social media saying
21:02that he wanted to return power to the people the elections are to be held within 45 to 60 days of royal
21:10approval anutin's progressive people's party has long sought constitutional reforms to replace the
