00:10the former 98 Degrees star avoided being charged with misdemeanor assault and battery by agreeing
00:15to participate in a program that requires him to attend these meetings. Upon completion,
00:21there will be no criminal charges filed. The incident in question involved Nick allegedly
00:26reaching into a photographer's car to take her phone in March of last year. He claimed that he
00:31and his wife, Vanessa Lachey, were being photographed against their will after getting
00:35dinner with friends. Nick tweeted about the ordeal after the video of the altercation ended up on TMZ,
00:41writing,
00:41Last night after enjoying a great dinner with my wife and our dear friends,
00:46the paparazzi harassed us as we walked back to our hotel. I clearly overreacted. I've been in this
00:52game long enough to know that their antics are sadly part of the deal. Stupid of me. Well,
00:57we're glad to hear that he can put this behind him, but I also understand how he would be
