00:08series in season two, has been promoted to the role, making her the third showrunner
00:11since the series launch and will continue to work alongside franchise captain Alex
00:15Kurtzman. The show returned for its second season on January 20 after nearly a year
00:19off the air due to Kurtzman facing multiple delays and getting the drama off the ground
00:23ahead of its first season. Praising his new co-pilot, the showrunner said,
00:27Michelle joined us midway through season two and energized the room with her ferocious
00:31knowledge of Trek. Her grasp of character and story detail, her drive and her focus have
00:36already become essential in ensuring the Trek legacy and her fresh perspective always
00:40keeps us looking forward. I'm proud to say Michelle and I are officially running
00:44Star Trek Discovery together. Discovery is the flagship of the Star Trek universe for
