00:14Producers announced a provisional deal on Sunday. The WGA Negotiating Committee informed members
00:20we have reached a tentative agreement on a new 2023 NBA, which is to say an agreement in principle
00:26on all deal points, subject to drafting final contract language. We can say with great pride
00:32that this deal is exceptional, with meaningful gains and protections for writers in every sector
00:37of the membership. The parties came to terms on a provisional three-year agreement, which will need
00:42to be ratified by WGA members to take effect. The union's negotiating committee asked for patience
00:48during this time, saying, what remains now is for our staff to make sure everything we have agreed to
00:53is codified in final contract language. And though we are eager to share the details of what has been
00:58achieved with you, we cannot do that until the last I is dotted. In the meantime, the WGA has suspended
01:04picketing while reminding members that no one is to return to work until the union gives the green
