00:00So this here is a Garmin Pilot, Street Pilot, C340, and instead of throwing it out, I'm
00:18going to try to replace the battery.
00:19I know the battery don't charge anymore, so I'll press this thing here, take that off.
00:30Go to the front, there's a little notch, take this, try to take it straight off, front plate,
00:51that's where the reset button is.
00:59And there's four screws, one, two, three, four.
01:08Now this you can't even update anymore, but if you have a general idea where you're going,
01:14you can just bypass the errors and get to the streets or the neighborhood you're looking
01:23for the address and it's still pretty accurate with houses and building numbers.
01:31I just went ahead and took them out, there's four screws there, and then this top half will
01:39come off.

01:50Just take those two screws out and pull up so you can remove the battery.
01:57This chip right here, just pull that out, that'll come out rather easy.

06:42All three wires I taped together.
06:46I twisted it first and taped it.
06:49So, I pressed the power button.
06:51And, of course, the battery's dead.
06:54Now, I'm going to try to charge it.
