Three children are still being treated in hospital after a horror crash in Victoria’s north. Four adults were killed when the minivan they were in hit a tree just south of Cobram yesterday afternoon.

00:00Police are investigating after four people died in a single vehicle crash in Makata in
00:07northern Victoria close to the New South Wales border.
00:11Three children aged between 10 and 16 have been flown to hospitals in Melbourne including
00:16one teenage girl.
00:18A second teenage girl and the driver were taken to hospital in Shepparton which is the
00:22closest regional centre to the area.
00:24A local resident has spoken to the ABC about the difficulties of travelling along this road
00:29which is a single lane road at 100 kilometres per hour, making it difficult to navigate
00:35oncoming traffic.
00:37Police are appealing for public assistance to further the investigation.
00:42Acting Superintendent Ashley Mason is calling for any dash cam footage to be sent to Crime
00:46Stoppers.
00:47But as I said before it's absolutely tragic.
00:50We've got four lives lost and as we know we're only 10 days away from Christmas.
00:57Police were back in the area in the early hours of this morning to continue their investigation
