00:00He is like the ultimate professional. He's incredibly talented. He's a great guy. But I want to ask you something, Tom. All these films, you've made these brilliant films and you've done incredible work.
00:30Have you ever asked yourself why you yourself have never won an Oscar? Have you asked yourself that question? You know, I mean, the fact of the matter is you're incredibly talented. You're a brilliant actor. You're, you know, handsome. You're incredibly sexy. You've got a gorgeous wife. You've got two terrific children. You're wealthy beyond your wildest dreams. Have you figured it out yet? They hate you. They hate you.
01:00What did you think, though, when you heard that you were going to get this special tribute? Did it make you start reflecting on what you've done yourself?
01:06I reflected on nothing. I didn't introspect. I didn't do anything. I just said, oh, this is nice. And I'll show up and I'll make a speech.
01:15Uh-oh, somebody more important than me is coming.
01:18I think that's for you.
01:19Oh, somebody more important than me is coming.
01:21Oh, nobody. Oh.
01:25Oh.
01:26Oh.
01:27Oh.
01:28Oh.
01:29Oh.
01:30Oh.
01:31Oh.
01:32Oh.
01:33Oh.
01:34Oh.
01:35Oh.
01:36Oh.
01:37Oh.
01:38Oh.
01:39Oh.
01:40Well, a magic place for me, you know, oddly enough, this summer that I spent making this movie was magic for me.
01:54summer that I spent making this movie was magic for me. I had the most fun, the most
01:59glorious time. We lived on a lake. It was like movie camp. It was so much fun. And as
02:06we say in the movie, in a scene where Morgan gives this eulogy, he says this place has
02:12something special. It brings out the best in people. And I think it does in the movie
02:17and I think it brought out the best in us and we had a great experience.
02:20Well, what do you think? Should we talk together? Yeah, why not? I've known this guy for almost
02:29all of his life. I didn't know him in vitro, but I knew him. You knew, you knew, you felt.
02:36By the way, I want to say one thing about Rob. He has a photographic memory. He really does.
02:43And he could probably repeat everything that was said to him, but I'm not going to ask him to do
02:48that because he does such a good job, Billy, doing advice. But I want to say one thing about Rob.
02:55And this has nothing to do with the fact he's my son, but I have, on one hand, my favorite movies
03:01that I've watched when other people haven't seen it. I said, sit down and watch it with me. I get
03:07pleasure watching it with them. One is The Count of Monte Cristo, the greatest comeuppance movie of all
03:13time. Second one is Random Harvest, a romantic movie with Greer Garson and Ronald Coleman that
03:21if you don't have a tear in your eye and a smile on your face at the end, you're not human.
03:26And the other one is The Prince's Bride. Anytime you feel low, put on The Prince's Bride,
03:33you're always smiling. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
