00:00We're going to EJ's house for Christmas, and Nina's got her Christmas donut.
00:05What?
00:06What?
00:06What?
00:07What'd you say, EJ?
00:08What?
00:09Thanks, beholden times of time.
00:16What's that noise?
00:18I'll fly a large door.
00:19Get ready, there's numbers, there's plenty or more.
00:23I want you at me too, old guy.
00:26Don't, take these better little things that I've got.
00:32Oh!
00:35Any bombers, nice bombers, I'll leave.
00:40Please, stay, I want you at me too, old guy.
00:46Oh!
00:47We have arrived.
00:48We have arrived?
00:49We have arrived.
00:50John, what do you think of EJ's TV that looks like a painting?
00:53It took me a couple seconds to suss out.
00:56EJ's life was such that he didn't need TV.
00:59He just had a beautiful painting where a TV would go.
01:02It feels like if you touched it, you would feel texture.
01:04Yes, exactly.
01:05This is the book I was talking about.
01:07Is that Muppet Christmas Carol?
01:09Yeah.
01:09Oh, it's just the Christmas Carol.
01:11It's a little Christmas Carol for kids.
01:12Yeah, I can show you that.
01:15Oh, the illustrations are beautiful.
01:16Oh, that's your little Charlie Brown TV.
01:19I kind of want a little TV like that in our kitchen.
01:21What do you think?
01:21I like it.
01:22Hey, that thing's like a little...
01:25Do I want to rob a bank together with you?
01:28You know what?
01:28This reminds me of a song.
01:31Tis the season to rob banks.
01:34I want all your Christmas money.
01:39Why don't you put my hands off at this?
01:42Good idea.
01:43It doesn't matter.
01:44Nothing matters on the Christmas season.
01:48Nothing matters anymore.
01:50What is life?
01:52What is life?
01:54Look, Mama.
01:55Here's something on the box of my glue.
01:57I think I've seen my dog before.
01:59Because he's on the box of my glue.
02:00And he used to scare Gloria.
02:02He would make Gloria cry when she was little.
02:04All right, there's my little friend.
02:06Me!
02:07Me!
02:07Oh!
02:08Oh!
02:08Oh!
02:09Oh!
02:09No!
02:10You know what?
02:12Good.
02:13I'm glad.
02:13Come on!
02:14We're going to see the wonderful Frankie.
02:16We're off to see the Frankie.
02:18The wonderful Frankie.
02:19The wonderful Frankie.
02:20Come on!
02:20My dad's old.
02:22It's a power-up star.
02:23Oh, it's a power-up star.
02:25You can take a video of it.
02:26That's what I'm doing now.
02:28Yes.
02:29And a beautiful one.
02:30Do you love the lights that are going up in your kitchen?
02:32Yes!
02:33Frankie, we've got Apple Mac.
02:34And I'm going to give you the gift of Mac today on BoxMac!
02:37Honey, dandy.
02:41Lord, it's like a hard candy Christmas.
02:46I'm barely getting too tomorrow.
02:51So this Mac was lovingly sent in by a viewer.
02:54Is that correct?
02:54Where are we?
02:55Yeah, where are we?
02:56Oh, heck with that.
02:57Oh, no, we're in EJ's kitchen.
03:02This is very exciting.
03:03It's a little roomier.
03:04Yes.
03:05We're on Western Mass, where there's snow on the ground.
03:07We got in our head.
03:08We're like, this is the 11th annual Christmas special.
03:10We've never gone to EJ's house as a crew.
03:12Let's have a very EJ Christmas.
03:14A very EJ Christmas.
03:15The most EJ we can possibly have at a Christmas.
03:18Right.
03:18I'm here.
03:19That is the most.
03:20So now you can go ahead and talk about...
03:22Sure.
03:23Now that we've established our locale.
03:24So this is interesting.
03:26I've seen a lot of promo for this.
03:27Every year, there's some Mac stunt.
03:30Yes.
03:30And we get sucked into it.
03:31We do.
03:32And we've done apple pies, apple crisps, apple cakes.
03:35We've done apple Macs of our own homemade.
03:37We have.
03:37We're going to give it a try.
03:38What is it?
03:38Apple cinnamon.
03:39No, apple pie.
03:40Yeah.
03:41There wouldn't be hot apple slugs in this.
03:43But you see what I'm saying about hot apples?
03:44Yes.
03:44I like apple crisp because of the crisp part.
03:46Yeah.
03:47Apple part feels unnecessary.
03:48Yes.
03:48I mean, I think the best part about this is actually the cake.
03:51And the apple just kind of adds to the experience.
03:53You don't like little tiny hot apple slugs?
03:57Sounds like you get it.
03:58Oh, it's like the, remember those oatmeals that have dehydrated apples in it?
04:02Yes.
04:03Oatmeal?
04:05Oatmeal!
04:06You know what we should do?
04:06Because there's not anything happening at the table.
04:08Point the camera at the kids and the puppet.
04:10Wherever you want.
04:11Yeah, it's fine.
04:12Yeah, you don't need like 30 minutes of me sitting here.
04:15There's nothing happening.
04:15That would be great Patreon content.
04:18Zero boring chuck from table.
04:21So where did it come from?
04:21Did you buy it?
04:22No, there was a fan on Discord named Neurotic who sent it to us.
04:25I don't see cinnamon, but it doesn't say I like spice as a generic ingredient.
04:29I assume it's going to be Kraft Mac and Cheese with a tinge of apple.
04:33Yeah.
04:33Or brown sugar.
04:34And now we've bought it.
04:35Yeah.
04:36Now we're here.
04:37We're going to make it.
04:38The other big Mac gimmick this year was that there was some sort of 35 Mac giant box of Mac.
04:42Way more than 35 is 109 boxes in that 65 inch box of Mac they called it.
04:47I feel like it would have been fun to go find it.
04:49I wouldn't want to buy it.
04:50Because what are we going to do with 100 boxes of macaroni and cheese?
04:52Eat them.
04:53But it wasn't good enough.
04:54We're not coming to EJ's house to.
04:55Just to make a lousy apple Mac?
04:57No.
04:57No.
04:58I thought, you know, you remember all those used to get like a Hillshire Farms log for Christmas.
05:03Swiss colony.
05:03Swiss colony.
05:03You know, whatever.
05:05I thought there must be a kid out there, which is like you can gift someone macaroni and cheese.
05:10And indeed there is, Frankie.
05:12Where from?
05:13From Etchins Farm.
05:14Home of European style Gouda's in Tilsit.
05:18In Minnesota, we have this gift I'm giving to you of macaroni and cheese.
05:22Oh, this is mine.
05:23So I see three kinds of cheeses.
05:25I see Tilsit tomato basil Gouda and aged cheddar.
05:29Yes.
05:30And then I see what appears to be a premium pasta offering.
05:34Penning.
05:34Yeah.
05:34What is this?
05:35They've given you little candies as a bonus.
05:37It's really simple.
05:38They don't even have you make a roux.
05:39They have you add some heavy cream in, which EJ has gotten for us, and just mix and serve.
05:45Okay.
05:45Are you one of those little kids that loves mac and cheese?
05:50I like some kind of.
05:51Oh.
05:52Well, then you're in the right place, buddy.
05:55I was inspired by John's.
05:56Yes.
05:57I bought my little cheese grater, and EJ was telling me that he has his own wonderful new cheese grater.
06:03I saw it on the show, and I saw how fast he went through a block of cheese.
06:06I'm like, I've got to have this in my life.
06:08I saw it at Costco.
06:09I'm like, this is too cool not to get.
06:10I actually like yours a little more because it's got a bigger mouth.
06:13Do you feel replaced by machines?
06:15Used to be you hired one good Nina, paid her a fair wage.
06:19Paid her a fair wage, and in match she didn't eat.
06:21And she would shred the cheese for you.
06:23She would shred that cheese for you.
06:24Those things would not be able to take the cheese off the Upps balls, though.
06:28True.
06:28I feel like we could automate that process, though.
06:30Like put them in a salad spinner or something.
06:32In goes our limited edition apple pie mac.
06:34You ever travel for Christmas?
06:36You have to go to someone else's house for Christmas?
06:38This year will be the first year I'm going to Waze.
06:41I'm going to my sister's house in Connecticut for Christmas.
06:43Whoa.
06:43Christmas in Connecticut.
06:44Yes.
06:45Directed by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
06:46We're going to leave at like 6 o'clock to get there for like 7.30,
06:50so we can open presents with the kids.
06:51Early.
06:52We're leaving the house at 8 a.m. on the button.
06:54How do you feel about getting up on Christmas Day and traveling?
06:57Is there any element that you're like...
06:59Not super excited about it, but I understand.
07:01You know, it's the nature of life.
07:02The typical American experience, I think, is you wake up,
07:05you do what you got to do with your kids with the presents and everything else.
07:07Yeah.
07:07And then around 11 a.m. you start to feel that pull of like we got to go over to the...
07:11For us, growing up, Christmas Day was always just for us.
07:14Christmas Eve was when we went to grandparents and stuff like that.
07:17You would never want to travel too far for Christmas.
07:19No.
07:20Two hours max?
07:21I would hope so, but if my sister moved further away, I'd probably still travel.
07:24You'd have to do what you have to do.
07:25You get all your toys and you're like playing with it.
07:27Like, oh, we have to go to the aunt's house now.
07:28And it's like, you're just getting settled in with your new stuff.
07:32Can I bring the toy?
07:33And they're like, bring one toy.
07:36Yes, exactly, EJ.
07:37Can I bring the entire living room with me?
07:39And it'll be as though we didn't leave.
07:40Tony, you didn't end the tutorial with Aunt Master Splinter.
07:47You mean the rat?
07:48Gloria, come here.
07:50So we were just talking about traveling on Christmas.
07:53How do you feel about, like, you just got all your toys, you're settled in, and we're
07:57like, come on, put on socks and shoes.
07:59We got to leave.
08:00Oh my God.
08:01Oh my God.
08:03It does look like a lovely cheese, doesn't it?
08:05And I love tomato flavored things.
08:07Yes.
08:07Like, I know Tanera tomato bread.
08:09Oh yeah, it used to be really good.
08:10I think it's worse now.
08:11Yeah, it is.
08:12It used to be really good.
08:12It used to be really good.
08:14You know what?
08:14You are being so well behaved.
08:16Here comes the cheese.
08:21It's just, every time I use this, it's amazing how quick it goes.
08:25So is the idea that all three cheeses are going in?
08:27All three cheeses, Frankie.
08:29You don't make a roux.
08:30You melt that cheese right into your cream.
08:32This cheese looks like chicken.
08:33It does look a little like chicken.
08:36Shall we sample the cheese?
08:37Sure.
08:38Sample the cheese, neighbor.
08:41It's cheddar.
08:41It's rich.
08:42It's, yeah.
08:44It's really good.
08:44Yeah, it's a little more complex.
08:46Did you mention how much you paid for this cheese?
08:48The box?
08:48Shipping.
08:49Was $55.
08:51Paid for by viewers like you?
08:52I realized after I checked out I could have used a 25% off coupon, but I didn't.
08:56Whoa.
08:57It's good to see you.
08:58Merry Christmas.
08:58Oh, it's good to see you again, too.
09:00You don't make a roux?
09:02What do you do?
09:02You just melt the cheese in cream and mix it in with the mac.
09:05Remember that three-ingredient mac we did years ago?
09:07Yeah.
09:07It's that kind of idea, but I don't think, I think they used evaporated milk instead of
09:10heavy cream.
09:11Yeah, remember they put it in like standing evaporated milk and just let it do its thing.
09:14Tomato basil, so that's got a little spice to it.
09:16It looks like a fruitcake mixed with chicken.
09:19Chicken fruitcake.
09:20I have a conversational piece, the kind of thing that can involve everybody.
09:24Okay.
09:24What is the, the Christmas movie?
09:28For me, Muppet Christmas Carol.
09:30Okay.
09:31A good choice.
09:31I'm going to go with Home Alone.
09:33Okay.
09:33Very good choice, too.
09:34I'm going with Home Alone.
09:35Zach's got Home Alone.
09:36I would say It's a Wonderful Life.
09:39Oh, that's a good one.
09:40That's a good, I'm going to go with It's a Wonderful Life.
09:41The classic.
09:42Frank Capra's masterpiece.
09:45Muppet.
09:47Muppet Christmas Carol.
09:48You're going to go with John's choice.
09:49Good vote.
09:49I think Home Alone.
09:51Yeah, Home Alone.
09:52Past movie.
09:52Not, best Christmas pageant ever, not 8-bit Christmas.
09:55I think I love 8-bit Christmas.
09:56You saw it, 8-bit Christmas.
09:58Yeah, oh yeah.
09:58She saw it this year for the first time.
10:008-bit Christmas.
10:01It came out on streaming just a couple years ago.
10:02Really?
10:03It's basically Christmas Story, but about the NES.
10:05And you might think, you're like, that sounds like it's like nostalgia bait, and I'm sure
10:09it was greenlit on that.
10:09This was before streaming platforms became sloppier, and they put money into it?
10:15Yes.
10:16It's really good.
10:16And now Netflix owns Warner Brothers.
10:18John, you try the tomato basil?
10:20It's good.
10:21It's like sour.
10:21Yeah, it's got a lot going on.
10:23It could be so complicated that the children hate it.
10:25Yeah, exactly.
10:27Why do you have a little flower?
10:28Why does Gloria have a little flower?
10:30Because I was looking through the doors, and I decided to pick some flowers.
10:34I have Nelly's grass-fed sea-salted butter.
10:37Now, did you notice that EJ's got one of these white Christmas TVs going?
10:42This is my kitchen TV.
10:44It's got the RGB pie attached to it.
10:46It's playing Charlie Brown Christmas right now.
10:49Bring the Vyves into the kitchen.
10:51EJ's mixing the digital with the analog.
10:53He's got a Linux computer powering some old RCA technology, aptly named RCA.
10:58All right, DJ, want to give that milk?
10:59You can put it right in the pod.
11:00Yeah, DJ.
11:01Merry Christmas.
11:02Very interestingly colored, very bright.
11:04Bright with apples, I suppose.
11:06Bright with apples.
11:07It was like paprika.
11:08That's probably where the color is coming from.
11:10I can definitely smell notes of apple.
11:11I can tell that the cheese is deliberately meltable.
11:14Which movie do you guys want to watch?
11:16We got Christmas Story.
11:17Oh, pop on some Christmas Story.
11:19Notice none of us said Christmas Story as the...
11:21Look, I'm going to say something sacrosanct.
11:23I don't really see how it is the elf gets to be part of the conversation here.
11:27I don't either.
11:29You're with me on this?
11:29It's funny, it's cute, but...
11:31Modern comedy.
11:32It's a modern comedy.
11:33I don't see how you're at the table with Home Alone.
11:35Please leave.
11:36Yeah, please.
11:38It's Santa Claus.
11:40And it's elf.
11:42Oh, wow.
11:43Yeah, it's very appley.
11:43It's quite appley, isn't it?
11:45Kind of like a...
11:46Yankee Candle, maybe?
11:47Yeah, Yankee Candle.
11:48A Yankee Candle?
11:49Like a pre-packaged apple pie?
11:51Yeah.
11:51It's not like a real apple pie.
11:54Sure.
11:54Have you guys ever been traveling for the holidays?
11:57It's Christmas Day, and you've actually watched a box mat Christmas with the family.
12:01You're like, oh, the new one just came out.
12:03Do you all want to see it?
12:04I have not.
12:05Probably never happened, right?
12:06No.
12:06On occasion, like, my nephews will be like, oh, put it on, and everybody just is like...
12:11They start talking, and it's over.
12:12It's over before it even starts.
12:15Yeah, yeah.
12:15But I know there's fans out there that watch it, but our own families can't stand it.
12:19They get enough of us.
12:20Paper plate, styled plate.
12:22How often do you cook at somebody else's kitchen?
12:24Never.
12:25It's weird.
12:26I've only ever done it at your kitchen, and now EJ's kitchen.
12:28Close friends only.
12:29Close friends only.
12:30Here's one for you, Franky.
12:31Merry Christmas.
12:33So the adults are going to try the apple pie craft macaroni and cheese.
12:36Oh, it's kind of...
12:37Well, I mean, I suppose it's exactly what I said it was going to be, which is it's craft
12:40mac and cheese with a little apple flavor.
12:42Yeah, I don't even get much of the cheese, though.
12:44It mostly just tastes like apple to me.
12:45Yeah.
12:45You know what?
12:46It tastes like those little Quaker oat oatmeal things.
12:49Yeah.
12:50It does.
12:50It's the exact same apple cinnamon flavor.
12:52And it's weird because the texture is the soggy noodles.
12:56It's just craft mac and cheese, but then there should be just a little bit of apple in it.
13:00I can taste it out of the apple.
13:01Okay, we'll see what the kids think.
13:02Yeah.
13:03Yeah.
13:04He likes it.
13:05Well, Franky, we got another mac to make here.
13:07The pasta's just about ready.
13:08Want to try this final cheese before we commit?
13:10How many is it meant to feed?
13:11I mean, $55 might not be that insane.
13:13Well, we got a found of pasta, so I figure you could feed five or six fully.
13:17We were at Thanksgiving at my sister's house in Maine, and I had mentioned something about
13:20mac and cheese, and they laughed, like mac and cheese is not a Thanksgiving meal.
13:24And I pulled up a map.
13:26Yeah.
13:26Where it showed, well, here it is, and here it is, and here it is.
13:28Yeah, New York it is.
13:30Yeah, it's spreading.
13:31Certainly in the South.
13:31You'll use my very impressive large strainer.
13:34Ooh, I love that strainer.
13:35That's an Italian family strainer.
13:38I'm going to get our cup of fine cream into our saucepan.
13:42Saucepan?
13:42So this doesn't bake at all?
13:44It does not bake.
13:45Even on the instructions, it says, do not bake.
13:47Please do not bake.
13:48It'll ruin it.
13:49John using a gas stove.
13:50Brand new experience for me.
13:51All right, we're putting in our first cheese.
13:53Now it advises us not to use all of it.
13:55Our tomato basil.
13:57I can't say I tasted any tomato when I tried it.
13:59Yeah, I didn't taste it either.
14:00It was very subtle.
14:01It was definitely complex, but I don't think I tasted tomato or basil.
14:04Yeah, I think sour was the thing that...
14:07Yeah.
14:07Is it indeed melting quickly?
14:09It's doing all right.
14:10It's definitely becoming a nice sauce.
14:11I can feel it.
14:12And now our final cheese.
14:13It's true wherever you find love, it feels like Christmas.
14:21Urgent, urgent.
14:22More cream.
14:22More cream.
14:23It is the season of the spirit.
14:28Whenever we're on the podcast talking about movies or TV or whatever, EJ's viewing experience
14:33is always right there at that sink doing those dishes.
14:36So I was, you know, in my curse in life where I have to wash dishes until I perish.
14:44Some EJ lore.
14:45My iPad is usually propped up here.
14:47Yeah, all of my consumption mostly takes place here.
14:49This shit's made a beautiful cheese sauce.
14:52Actually, I think we'll put a little more cheese in, EJ.
14:54Put the rest of that cheese.
14:55I technically violated the rules, Frankie.
14:57I wasn't supposed to use all of the cheese.
14:58More cheeses for us, Mises.
15:00Yes, more cheeses for us, Mises.
15:01Yes.
15:02Hey, sir, I want some cheese.
15:04Oh, wow.
15:06Gloria got bedazzled at some point.
15:08All the pasta.
15:09Save two ounces of pasta and two ounces of all the cheese.
15:13Throw that $55 cheese away.
15:15Oh, my God.
15:16You fight for that, B-roll.
15:17I want to use my fancy pepper grinder with a crank.
15:20Let's do it, EJ.
15:21Let's do it.
15:21A little pepper.
15:22Just a little pepper for Christmas.
15:24Yeah, it's a snow.
15:25It's a black snow for Christmas.
15:26Oh, that's so nice.
15:27The grain is so fine.
15:28It's a toxic snow.
15:30Who wants Mac?
15:31I want Mac.
15:32Who wants Mac?
15:33She wants Mac.
15:34She wants Mac.
15:35Gloria's not going to like this Mac.
15:36She's going to need water.
15:37She's going to need water.
15:38She tends to like to take the label off, don't you?
15:41Don't you?
15:41Because I like it being clear.
15:43I like it being clear as Pepsi, crystal Pepsi.
15:46Clear as Pepsi, crystal Pepsi.
15:52Oh.
15:54All right, ready?
15:55Well, a few things.
15:57It's very high-quality pasta, first and foremost.
15:59Some of the highest-quality pasta we've ever tried.
16:02But if you were looking for a really strong cheese flavor,
16:06you're not going to get that.
16:07No.
16:08You're going to get a subtle one.
16:09It's more subtle than I expected based on the strength of those cheeses.
16:11Right.
16:11You get kind of the subtle, like, background flavors more than cheese.
16:15The heavy cream mellows them all out.
16:17Yeah.
16:17I'm tempted to say, like, maybe some blackened chicken or something.
16:21Yeah.
16:21It did suggest chicken.
16:22You got some cheese on your chin.
16:24Good.
16:24Thoughts, prayers?
16:26Um, it's good.
16:27Creamy.
16:28Not as good as I expected.
16:30But this is still very good.
16:31It's still very tasty.
16:31It's some nice cheeses.
16:32Yeah.
16:32All right.
16:33We should get everybody else in here to try.
16:34It's Christmas.
16:35I'm interested in what my wife has to say.
16:37You're going to love it, actually, because it's not total junk.
16:41Oh, yeah.
16:41I really like it.
16:42Yep.
16:42It's like all real things.
16:44Yes.
16:44There's nothing processed in this mac at all, Nina.
16:46Yeah.
16:47Maybe that's what cheese actually tastes like.
16:48It is really mild on the cheese flavor.
16:50Yeah.
16:51I'm not just plush.
16:52Yeah.
16:52It's got a nice chew to it.
16:54It's kind of covered in cream, and then the cheese is sort of separate.
16:57This is why one would typically make a roux.
16:59It's very rare that we have mac and cheese that's stringy.
17:01Yeah.
17:01And this is stringy because it's not a roux.
17:03Not a roux.
17:03If anyone out there should happen to order this $55 box of macaroni and cheese, I'm going
17:07to recommend you go ahead and make a roux with it.
17:09It's not that much more work.
17:11You're going to get a smoother, creamier experience, and you could probably get away with using less
17:14cream so it doesn't separate as much.
17:16Do you want to try a bite?
17:19No.
17:20Too hot?
17:21You know what?
17:21Do you want to try?
17:22I'm just going to groom you.
17:23Oh, thank you.
17:24So that was it.
17:25We came all the way to the Italian household of E.J. Massa to have a nice pasta, and, you know,
17:30okay.
17:30I'd buy the cheeses and enjoy them on crackers.
17:33I think they were delicious.
17:34Really?
17:34I wouldn't make them.
17:34Wouldn't they be too melty?
17:35Yeah, if they have, like, just, like, a cheese pack for Christmas, I would get that.
17:39Look, Matt's, like, it's all stringy.
17:40What about the, uh, apple pie mac?
17:42Would you buy the apple pie mac?
17:44No.
17:44No way.
17:44No.
17:45Although the kids liked it.
17:46All right, Merry Christmas.
17:47Merry Christmas!
17:48Merry Christmas.
17:49Today on Red Cow Entertainment, Antiques Roadshow Edition.
17:52No, I'm just kidding because these are nowhere near being antiques.
17:55These are all from Mr. Christmas brand, right?
17:58They are all Mr. Christmas.
18:00So I've been exploring savers just passively, but in the last year and a half, I have found
18:06these wonderful little Christmas boxes.
18:08Brand new.
18:09They are about $150, $200.
18:12They're all about 15 to 20 years old.
18:15What's Mr. Christmas?
18:16Mr. Christmas was a brand.
18:18Specifically, they focus on music boxes and automation.
18:21Oh, yeah.
18:21Especially 10 to 15 years ago.
18:23Now, not so much anymore.
18:24They've kind of fallen out of fashion.
18:25This is like grandma core, you know?
18:27Probably at the Christmas place, they would have had some of this.
18:29Yes.
18:30So this was the very first one that I found.
18:32This one has tubular bells, chimes in them.
18:35I have to turn the switch on here.
18:39I like it.
18:40Yeah, I do too.
18:40It evokes Christmas in such a beautiful way.
18:42The sound reminds me of, that came out of, like, we had like a Toy Santa.
18:45Yeah, half of them are Christmas songs, and the other half are just any time.
18:50So far, it's my favorite.
18:53You want to come see?
18:54Do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do.
18:56Do you know that song?
18:57Oh, it's the one that's like a record player.
19:01A little bit like a record player.
19:02So these run on discs.
19:06I think it's one of your dad's favorites.
19:09Every holiday party for years, we would all sing 12 Days of Christmas, but...
19:13Every verse was part of his favorite.
19:14Every verse was a partridge in a pear tree.
19:16So it's a partridge in a pear tree, a partridge in a pear tree, a partridge in a pear tree,
19:20a partridge in a pear tree.
19:23This is a very distinct Christmas setting, and then these people are just dancing.
19:27And I think this is the most popular one because it's a little bent.
19:29Do you know what song this is and what movie it's from?
19:32It's Edelweiss.
19:34Edelweiss, every morning you greet me.
19:39As Ronald Reagan said, the Austrian national anthem.
19:43Did he really?
19:44Now this one, oh man.
19:46It was the cheapest one I found because it was in the worst shape.
19:50And John, he put in a lot of work helping me with it.
19:53So it was a permanent breaker that had busted, right?
19:55Or a permanent fuse that had busted.
19:58And it was all scratched up when I first found it.
19:59But just a little black matching marker really helped fill in all those nicks and dents.
20:04Oh, the bells on top.
20:05Golden bells on top.
20:06Cool.
20:07Christmas day in the morning.
20:12Christmas day in the morning.
20:14Christmas day in the morning.
20:16We can turn the bells off entirely.
20:19You gotta have them.
20:19But I think the bells are very charming.
20:22Yeah, otherwise it's like a cheeseless mac.
20:24Exactly.
20:24Oh, and it's 12 Days of Christmas again.
20:26And if you just let it sit, it will cycle through all the Christmas songs.
20:30This one I think is my favorite because it was such a bear to get working.
20:33And a partridge in a pear tree.
20:37Gloria was watching some movie called The Naughty Nine.
20:39And in order to get through this fantasy locked door, you had to sing the whole 12 Days of Christmas.
20:44Accurately.
20:45On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me a partridge in a pear tree.
20:54I'm sure Dad's gonna cut that in when he edits it.
20:58But I already see it coming.
21:00Noah's very excited for this mahogany one.
21:02This is my favorites.
21:03And again we have...
21:09Yeah, what's with this?
21:10This one you don't choose.
21:11It just goes through an entire cycle.
21:13It's a reel that pulls it through.
21:15Every now and then, it gets bound up.
21:18I think as a collection, they're beautiful, Matthew.
21:20Your son is like captivated by them.
21:22Children love these.
21:23Yeah, I think this is my favorite.
21:24Lucky, open it.
21:26I love that one too.
21:27EJ showed me that.
21:28A fan of ours bought that for us.
21:29Yeah!
21:30That one on the end is my favorite.
21:32This one right here.
21:33Merry Christmas, John.
21:34Oh, thank you, Matthew.
21:35Oh, you get to have it?
21:36I'm gonna put it out for the party.
21:37I'll put it for decorations and maybe play a little music.
21:39The 12 Days of Christmas.
21:40Yeah.
21:41Hi, my name is EJ Massa.
21:44Look, I don't know a thing about TikTok, but I know a thing or two about CRT televisions.
21:50Apparently, it's all the rage to put little TVs in your kitchen.
21:54And I thought, wow, I can finally be hip since I'm absolutely swimming in little TVs.
21:59So, what if I do my own EJ spin on the kitchen TV concept?
22:05It's the holidays.
22:06I'll be doing lots of baking and cooking in the kitchen.
22:09So, wouldn't it be nice if I load up the RGB Pi I reviewed for a video with a whole playlist
22:16of holiday classics for me to enjoy while I do my Christmas activities?
22:21The RGB Pi that I covered in that video is no longer being made, and the creator is making
22:27the RGB Pi 2 adapter, which will also have a media player through the operating system
22:33Replay OS.
22:35But since it's not out yet, I can't do a video on it, but you can bet I'll cover it
22:41when it does.
22:42In case you're confused about what the RGB Pi is, or at least with the first version,
22:46was, it was a cable that connected to the pins of a Raspberry Pi, and combined with
22:51the RGB Pi operating system, outputted 240p through RGB SCART to your favorite television.
22:59At least one that has an RGB SCART input.
23:01It worked really well, and I think it'll be great for my kitchen CRT media center.
23:06Which brings me to this little guy.
23:08A little RCA TV that is unfortunately RF only, but, fortunately, it can be RGB modded,
23:16according to CRT database.
23:18For those of you who don't know what RGB modding means, it just means the TV's internal chips
23:22have the potential to receive a more high-quality signal, split into red, green, and blue.
23:29But, for cost-cutting reasons, or specific markets, they just never added those inputs in.
23:36So, we'll modify the TV to add those inputs and get a higher-quality picture.
23:41And this white TV is really nice, and it doesn't seem to be suffering from the yellowing plastic
23:47that plagues a lot of these white kitchen TVs.
23:50I don't know why, but having specifically a white CRT feels appropriate for a kitchen TV.
23:57But, it makes sense, you know?
23:59Maybe because fridges are white.
24:01Well, mine is stainless steel, but when I picture a cartoon fridge in my head, you can
24:09bet it's white.
24:10According to this old Best Buy ad about this RCA TV, mom will love watching her favorite
24:16shows in the kitchen, and she'll have all her counter space to work with.
24:20Wow!
24:21I must be a mom, because I'm sold.
24:24And because this TV is RF-only, it can be found for slightly cheaper than the little
24:29Sony TVs, which go for over $200.
24:32This one was only $60, still a lot, but it was in excellent condition.
24:37I played a little Mega Man 2, and the tube is bright, looks fairly sharp, the colors pop.
24:43The only problem is the RF output on the NES has terrible dot crawl, jail bars, and ghosting
24:51with some of the sprites.
24:52You can see in Woodman's stage here, the trees shimmer and dance with the dot crawl.
24:57So not only will adding an RGB SCART fix this, it will allow us to hook up our RGB Pi system
25:04to play all of our movies and holiday-themed video games.
25:09Now, I could add every Christmas movie ever on the Raspberry Pi, but I thought it would be
25:15more fun to put a smaller library with fewer choices to avoid the Netflix decision paralysis.
25:24Kind of like when Retro Game Corps only put five games on a handheld.
25:28So I went to the library with my boys to pick out holiday DVDs.
25:32Noah was helping me and pointed out a few, like Rudolph, a classic.
25:36He specifically was interested in the Muppet Christmas Carol, and was carrying it around
25:41like a precious totem.
25:43We also picked up the Chuck Jones, How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
25:46I specifically remember an elementary school teacher who was probably hungover, and she
25:51wheeled out the cart with a CRT on it and put on the classic Grinch cartoon on VHS, and
25:57I've been in love with the special ever since.
25:59The Dr. Seuss Museum is also nearby, so it's a bit of a local favorite as well.
26:04Of course, I had to grab Charlie Brown Christmas, and I haven't seen Frosty the Snowman since
26:09I was a kid, but I remember liking it quite a bit when it appeared on TV.
26:13There was something so refreshing about physically going to a place and picking out movies.
26:19And the best part is it's completely free!
26:21Or, I mean, I pay taxes and it gets funded through those taxes that I pay, I guess.
26:27So I might as well use it.
26:28However, I broke my own rules, and I bought a couple DVDs because they had to be in my holiday
26:34playlist.
26:35I got the full-screen version of Christmas Vacation.
26:38I actually already own the widescreen version, but when I was a kid, we watched the Formed
26:42to Fit Your Screen version, so that's the one I'm choosing to put on this little console.
26:47Christmas Vacation is not only one of my favorite Christmas movies, but it's probably one of the
26:52best comedies of all time.
26:53My other purchase was the full-screen version of A Christmas Story.
26:57A fun fact about this one, it took me decades to actually watch this in proper order.
27:02TNT used to play Christmas Story on repeat for 24 hours on Christmas Eve.
27:07I would catch a scene here or there, and I never quite knew what was the end of the movie,
27:13or what was the beginning, until I rented it on DVD one year.
27:17And I watched it in the proper order.
27:19And to this day, I'm not quite sure which scene happens where in the movie.
27:25And, you know, because many of the scenes are just really funny standalone vignettes.
27:30I got out my external Blu-ray drive, because computers don't have CD drives anymore.
27:34I guess they haven't really had them for a decade.
27:37And used Make MKV to make a backup of the video, and Handbrake to convert to MP4 so the
27:43RGB Pi can play it.
27:44You can also get a plug-in for Handbrake to just rip it straight from the DVD to MP4.
27:49Then I SSH'd into the RGB Pi and dragged all my Christmas movies into the Kodi Media folder.
27:55If you want a more in-depth look at how I set up my RGB Pi, please check out the video
28:00with all the steps.
28:02And since the RGB Pi is mostly a video game playing device, I decided to put a bunch of
28:08Christmas-themed retro games and ROM hacks on it.
28:10I asked for recommendations on the Red Cow Discord, and I also checked out lists like
28:16the SNES Drunk's Christmas ROM hack episode.
28:19I used ROMhacking.net to not only find the ROM hacks, but I also used the utility linked
28:24on the website to upload the vanilla ROM and then apply the ROM hack patch.
28:29In addition, I utilized Super Mario World Central to find ROM hacks, and also they have a similar
28:35tool to apply patches, and it makes it really easy.
28:38And here's the list I came up with.
28:40For non-ROM hacks, I have Snow Brothers and Batman Returns for the NES, which, you know,
28:46that movie takes place around Christmas.
28:48It's a very Christmassy movie.
28:50For Super Mario World ROM hacks, I have Mario World Merry Mountain Christmas Adventure, which
28:54came highly recommended from Frankie.
28:57I have Super Mario World Winter's Delight, Mario Saves Christmas 2021, A Haunted Christmas,
29:04and Super Mario World Christmas Edition.
29:06For NES ROM hacks, specifically for the original Super Mario Brothers,
29:10I have Toad's Christmas Adventure, and the sequel Toadette's Christmas Adventure, and
29:16Luigi and the Christmas Quest.
29:18To mix it up, I have a couple Metroid ROM hacks, Super Metroid Snowglobe, and Spooky Mission 2,
29:24The Nightmare Before Christmas, which is probably more of a Halloween game, but it has Christmas
29:29in the title, so it still counts.
29:30I have Sonic's Christmas 2011, and Sonic 2 Christmas Edition for the Genesis, and finally,
29:36for something completely different, a Christmas-themed Earthbound ROM hack called Holiday Hex.
29:41And here's the final list.
29:43Plenty of holiday-themed retro gaming to brighten up the darkest days of the year,
29:48and Christmas movies to spread some holiday cheer.
29:51I made sure to go into the RGB Pi menu and favorite all of the Christmas games so that
29:57they would be easy to quickly access as soon as I turned on the system.
30:01Now it's time to embrace my inner Bjork, and open this guy up and experience Christmas in
30:08the city inside the television, and hopefully also put an RGB SCAR input into it.
30:14Hello, it is Christmas time, and I'm sitting here by my TV.
30:21I've been watching it very much lately because I'm on a holiday.
30:25This is what it looks like.
30:27This looks like a city, like a little model of a city.
30:30And here are all the wires.
30:50These wires.
30:53They really take care of all the electrons when they come through here.
31:00And the mod was a success.
31:06It has a new RGB SCAR input, and I can connect my RGB Pi and have the TV ready to play Christmas
31:13classics.
31:14I almost guarantee not many people are doing that on TikTok.
31:18And the image does look super colorful, detailed, and sharp.
31:22Way better than anything you'd get over RF, especially for video games.
31:27And there we go, an RCA TV for Red Cow Arcade, or Red Cow Entertainment in this case.
31:35This will look perfect, perched, in my kitchen while we make mac and cheese and make merry.
31:43That's all I have for now.
31:45Until next time, bye.
31:47This place is a place.
31:48Did you have fun parking?
31:49No, I didn't park.
31:50I made Mac go to it.
31:51We're at the Yankee Candle Village.
32:01Not to be confused with the everyday Yankee Candle store.
32:03Not the one you find in the mall.
32:04At least you could get a cart.
32:06A Yankee Candle branded cart.
32:08It is huge.
32:09We drove around looking for a barcode spot.
32:10It's massive.
32:11Zach, if you had worn a Santa hat, you might get hired.
32:14Yeah, you'd do it.
32:15You'd be like, hey, I'm Santa.
32:16Can I get some snow on the tail to eat?
32:18I've been talking for years about the candle embargo, and for the one day of today, it's
32:22off.
32:23It's off.
32:23I have a no candles rule.
32:25Absolutely no candles, zero tolerance for buying new candles.
32:27Is the candle moratorium still in effect?
32:30Yes.
32:31No candles shall be purchased, and we have zero candles this year.
32:34So no new candles will be purchased this year.
32:36I'm still on a no candle policy.
32:39I have a no buying more candles policy.
32:40If I didn't have a candle embargo, I would be buying this.
32:44Are you going to fill a cart filled with candles?
32:46I might.
32:47I'll try not to be ridiculous.
32:48I am going to get a cart, though.
32:50Thank you for waiting for me.
32:51There was a whole lot of no parking anywhere, so.
32:53Would you like to guess where I parked?
32:55That car right there.
32:56That's never happened to me in my life.
32:58Merry Christmas to you.
32:59Let's already feel wicked Christmas-y.
33:01Wicked Christmas.
33:01It is wicked Christmas-y.
33:03And you're hit with a whiff of Christmas.
33:04Yeah, the pine, natural pine it smells like.
33:07They used to build as prestige buildings for stores.
33:10This is like a survivor of the prestige era.
33:12Oh, look.
33:13Train.
33:14Yeah, it's so cute.
33:15We're in Deerville, Mass., which is quite a haul for us.
33:17But you were the one who suggested it bizarrely.
33:19Yeah, well, I saw a TikTok, and I was like, ooh, that might be good.
33:23What is it?
33:25Pumpkin spice.
33:26No.
33:27Buttercream.
33:28Close enough Christmas cookie.
33:30Remember the Pastabilities pasta?
33:32Oh, yeah.
33:33They sell here.
33:33Naughty or nice pasta.
33:34Oh, Christmas trees.
33:35I do, like, Christmas baskets of food every year, because I don't like getting people presents.
33:41And having this with, like, my tomato sauce I make in a jar.
33:45Oh, E.J., what a great gift.
33:46I think this is going in my pen.
33:47Do you need a card?
33:48They've divided the candles.
33:49Food smells.
33:51Fresh smells.
33:51Oh.
33:52The sales today are crazy here.
33:54Really?
33:5412 bucks for a large candle.
33:56Amazing deal.
33:56Oh, it smells good.
33:58What is it?
33:58Chocolate layer cake.
34:01Chocolate, yeah.
34:03Ooh, that was really good.
34:04I have a no paraffin wax candle thing.
34:07I buy soy candles.
34:07But they have soy candles.
34:09When we find the soy candles, I may get them.
34:11I'm a little bit interested in this rechargeable candle layer, because we have candles on our dinner
34:15table.
34:16I don't know.
34:17It's kind of cool.
34:17But wait a minute.
34:18What makes it distinct from just a normal light?
34:20It's electric.
34:21Woogie, woogie, woogie.
34:22So you'll never run out.
34:23You'll never run out.
34:24You'd already made it in the car, Frank.
34:25I don't know if you saw.
34:26Chocolate candle.
34:27You love it.
34:27I love it.
34:28There's something magical we need to show you.
34:30John.
34:31Yeah.
34:32Check this out.
34:33It's a Christmas wonderland, John.
34:34The Black Forest.
34:36Whoa.
34:37I love miniatures, as we have just seen.
34:39Oh, you can live in a coffee cup.
34:41This has got one of the classic bubble candles on it from the 50s.
34:44And it bubbles, and it is heated by a lantern.
34:46Look at a very distinct soapy smell in here.
34:48A little bit assaulted by odors.
34:51Fragrances.
34:52Fragrances, yeah.
34:53Oh, I love the movie theater.
34:58Can you get a little flicker?
35:00Excuse me.
35:01Guys, it's a reindeer.
35:02A reindeer.
35:03Guys, reindeer.
35:04What?
35:05I was paying more attention to that.
35:07Snow falls from the sky?
35:09I told her to come over and say, we found a huge freaking reindeer.
35:12I can't believe we did a giant freaking reindeer.
35:15It's a hummingbird ornament.
35:16It's kind of beautiful.
35:18I am always on the outlook for new ornaments.
35:20It reminds me of when you go to Disney World or Epcot Center.
35:24There was that Norway place where you'd go into the car and it's the dark and you can smell weird smells.
35:29Oh, yeah.
35:29That's a great St. Nick.
35:31Oh, yeah.
35:31If it was green, it would be chocolate clouds.
35:33How about love in sticks?
35:34Love in sticks or Noelle in sticks or peace in sticks or hope in sticks.
35:37Whoa!
35:38What is it, babe?
35:40Oh, the tree?
35:41All of it.
35:42Oh, look at that one.
35:43That's supposed to be like a ribbon.
35:44Even if you're not Christian, you can have a fun time.
35:47It's like Casa Bonita.
35:48I love this.
35:49I love this.
35:50You want to dive into like a rusty, like underwater thing?
35:54They swim through here with all these mechanical pipes trying not to get their suit hooked on them.
35:58Yeah.
35:59They immediately step into here and there's hundreds of amps of power while your feet are wet on this concrete floor directly to your left right here.
36:07Fish right there.
36:08What's up with throwing cash?
36:10I gotta say, this place is incredible.
36:12Everywhere is like a different thing to see.
36:14The castle gates.
36:15It's also beautifully decorated.
36:17Like, every room is nice.
36:18Santa's workshop!
36:20Santa's workshop?
36:22Do you think it works?
36:23I think when I'm drinking on stream, I'll drink out of this instead of a glass.
36:27You're not turned off by how crowded it is?
36:29A little, but it also kind of adds to the Christmas hustle and bustle.
36:32It's not like outrageously crowded.
36:34It's pretty full.
36:34Which it's all in perfect days that you convert.
36:38I think if he's going to deliver to billions, he's going to have to move a little quicker.
36:42What is it?
36:42These are briar horses.
36:43My mother and sister would collect these.
36:46They used to have displays like this all over the place, but I haven't seen one in years.
36:50And your mom was a horse rider, a horse keeper.
36:52Yep, championship horse rider and jumper.
36:54Definitely don't see horse toys much anymore.
36:57No.
36:58There's like a Netflix show or something called Spirited, and they do sell toys of that.
37:01But again, it has to be tied to an IP or something.
37:04Yeah, a lot of horse toys.
37:05I love it.
37:06Look, there's like a meter of tables.
37:07Like, how many kids?
37:08So that's the days, not the kids.
37:10Oh, you can crack your own geodes over the box.
37:12Crack my own geode?
37:14Do you want to create your own roll bags of marbles?
37:16I guess this is another thing my mother used to collect.
37:18$19.
37:19Ouch.
37:20Is that too much or not enough?
37:21That's so reasonable.
37:21Actually, a lot of the prices here are very reasonable.
37:24It's not like touristy expensive here.
37:26Before there was Pokemon, you would collect other people's marbles by hitting them with another marble.
37:29You roll the marble into the other marble.
37:31Lime green tennis ball marble.
37:32I choose you.
37:33Go.
37:34Oh, man.
37:34Oh, dude, I was just looking at him and I was captured.
37:37Craigie, do you know the free rules?
37:38Yeah, don't feed him after midnight.
37:39Don't, uh...
37:40I think the first one is don't get him wet.
37:41Yeah, don't get him wet.
37:42Don't feed him after midnight.
37:43I think don't feed him after midnight is the last one because it's the worst.
37:46But there was one more, wasn't there?
37:48Look, I had to go in order.
37:48Keep him out of the sunlight.
37:50Sunlight will kill him.
37:52Now, some kids are marble kids.
37:53I was a bag of rocks kid.
37:55You had a bag of rocks?
37:56Yeah, I would love a bag of rocks.
37:57They're cool.
37:58That's a cool rock.
37:59Yeah.
37:59They're pretty.
38:00Look at how beautiful they are.
38:01I realize that the garish Jim Carrey Grinch is probably the most iconic version.
38:07Yeah, you're right.
38:08Because he's in the McDonald's ad now.
38:10When we went to Home Depot, there was a guy dressed as the Jim Carrey Grinch.
38:14I find it kind of strange that's the most iconic version.
38:16He's the one who's become in the cultural memory.
38:19And he's always in memes where they have the Grinch come in.
38:22Yeah.
38:22And then the kid tries to beat him up.
38:30The thing about that movie, from my perspective, it was right before everything was CG.
38:34And they did build everything.
38:35It's a Ron Howard movie.
38:36And you can tell that they don't really know what they want to do with that film.
38:39It's not until the third act that they even start the Grinch stealing of Christmas.
38:42Most of the movie is, I think, they showed up to his lair with the camera.
38:46And they said, Jim, what do you want to shoot?
38:48Other than that, it's a weird soundstage nightmare.
38:50Yeah.
38:51Much like Batman Forever.
38:52Look at these nautical girls.
38:54Jellicle songs for Jellicle cats.
38:57Jellicles, they do and they can, so they can and they do.
39:00They're Jellicles.
39:01Because Jellicles can, and Jellicles do.
39:05Jellicles do, and Jellicles can.
39:07Never thought I'd have a kid that was such a fan of the Cats Broadway musical.
39:11Aye, aye, Captain.
39:12When I was a kid, I would have definitely wanted to get up on that.
39:15I like the fake sky.
39:15Look, I can get up here all by myself.
39:20Can you, though?
39:21No, I didn't.
39:22Where are we headed?
39:24That's high up, kiddo.
39:25Whoa.
39:25Good job.
39:26You think this may have been an actual boat that they repurposed?
39:29This boat's from Chicago.
39:30The Patty Bee.
39:31Really?
39:31So it really was a real boat.
39:33Ben and Jerry's is calling to me.
39:34It looks good.
39:35This is the beautiful, illustrated map of this facility.
39:38We have done this row.
39:39They have candied cashews.
39:41Do they have candied pecans?
39:42They're all those little lights you can have.
39:44Oh, bubble lights.
39:45Do you realize that they're selling candied pecans?
39:48Hot candied pecans.
39:50Did you walk through the castle?
39:52No, you know.
39:53We went the other way.
39:53Oh, you went the other way.
39:54Do you want to go see the castle?
39:56Oh, my goodness.
39:57I feel like I'm going in circles.
39:59Is it a castle?
40:00Yes.
40:00Remember in the Grinch, they had like the slanty tree?
40:05Yeah.
40:05I was just looking at some princess sculptures.
40:08Oh, that's cute.
40:09It feels like 10, but 20.
40:10To remind us of the time we went to the Yankee Candle Village.
40:13That's too much.
40:14Love for Santa.
40:15One problem is everybody looks like EJ.
40:17When you're looking for EJ in here, you see a lot of guys with plaid with glasses.
40:21How do you think of it?
40:25It looks cool.
40:26It looks cool.
40:27The problem is when we're looking for you, there's a lot of guys with plaid with glasses
40:30with kids.
40:31I know.
40:32We had a neighbor who was like, oh, I saw you at the dentist.
40:35I talked to you about this and this and this.
40:37It wasn't.
40:39Oh, this is cute.
40:40Look at this.
40:43Our neighbors always have stuff like this in the porch.
40:48Do you need your little ornament?
40:49Oh, yeah.
40:49I love these.
40:50It's my favorite genre of ornament, is the real music ornament.
40:54I know.
40:57They have a fun pass.
40:59A fun pass?
41:00What do you do?
41:00Oh, like different activities?
41:02I want to go look at the Yankee Candle phone.
41:03Sure.
41:04I feel like I'm smelling some cigarettes.
41:06I do too, weirdly.
41:07They don't have that candle, do they?
41:09I almost kind of like this.
41:10Yeah, it reminds me of Christmas.
41:12Is that the cigarette candle?
41:13No.
41:14Where's the cigarette candle?
41:15Do you smell cigarette in this area?
41:17Yeah, it kind of smells like cigarettes.
41:18Do you think they have a candle?
41:19It's like, you know, trashy uncle.
41:22I want to go through this area.
41:24See what's beautiful.
41:24There's live music.
41:25Want to go see?
41:26Yeah, let's do it.
41:27Waiting for the love of the traveling soldier.
41:31Our love will never end.
41:33Waiting for the soldier to come back again.
41:37It's definitely not a Christmas song.
41:41I was looking for a little ornament to add to my collection, and I really like this one.
41:45I like its texture.
41:46You know, it's not like the normal kind of ornament texture, something a little different.
41:50Nine bucks.
41:51Easy buy.
41:52The line to check out is fairly long.
41:54Sure.
41:54It's the little Italian section.
41:56Yeah, where's EJ?
41:58There's no way we're doing that.
41:59We found the creepy animatronics.
42:01Complete with creepy animatronics.
42:07I love it.
42:08What'd you end up with?
42:09I have milk and cookies, chocolate peanut butter.
42:13I want to take a taste of my ice cream.
42:15All right, Nina got nuts for everybody.
42:17Snip the nut variety pack, which you save a few bucks if you buy them all.
42:20How are the shoes?
42:21They're good.
42:22Oh, they're good.
42:23The pecans are the best.
42:26Not an exit.
42:28This is where Santa would typically be.
42:30But this is where the Yankee Candle Museum and candle making demonstrations were.
42:36Look at these two.
42:36Same candle, very different appearance.
42:40Habsah.
42:40Habsah.
42:41Cider house.
42:43So many stocks.
42:43So many stocks.
42:46What did you go for it?
42:47White Christmas.
42:48It's like pine and light.
42:50Cold.
42:51Nice.
42:51Yeah.
42:52You gotta show John that.
42:53He might like that.
42:53Oh, it's really nice.
42:55Yeah.
42:55I'm gonna get that one.
42:56I knew it.
42:57I was like, show John.
42:58He'll get it.
42:58I've seen it, Frankie.
43:00Is there more that you want to see?
43:01No, I'm good.
43:02I think we've seen enough.
43:04How much slice have you had, Julio?
43:06How about you've had enough?
43:08Getting out of here seems to be a real challenge.
43:10It's part of the experience.
43:12For you, is there any element of, like, it's a little gross that everybody's sticking their
43:16face in these candles all day?
43:18We're in the checkout aisle.
43:19We're ready to go.
43:20Somebody ditched this candle.
43:21Oh, some sort of, like, caramel.
43:25It's supposed to be coffee.
43:26It's nice, but I already reached my limit.
43:28But I appreciate...
43:29Which is what, one?
43:30Two.
43:31Two candles.
43:31What are they?
43:31White Christmas and...
43:32A triple chocolate cake.
43:34My father wanted some bit of honey.
43:35I'm gonna get him two packs for Christmas.
43:38Because I can't find it anywhere.
43:39This place just keeps all I give in.
43:40Which fans?
43:41$17.97.
43:42I'm doing three things of pasta.
43:45Which bag?
43:45$16.58.
43:46So for the white Christmas candle, Anne, that's it.
43:49And a car vent, uh, clean cotton.
43:51Oh!
43:52Spend big bucks here.
43:53What'd you spend?
43:54$6.36.
43:56Whoa!
43:56Their car return system is horrible.
44:00There is none.
44:01People just...
44:01Abandon us?
44:02I'm sure someone comes around and collects them at yearly intervals.
44:05The best pizza I've ever tasted.
44:10Really?
44:10At this weird little brewery at the Yankee Candle Village?
44:13It is legitimately very good.
44:15Merry Christmas, guys.
44:16Bye!
44:17Good night and good Christmas.
44:19I'm a secret.
44:21Bye, John.
44:22Bye, Mikey.
44:23See you later.
44:24Please, God, we will see you next year.
44:27All right, guys.
44:32We're going to play Decorate Trash Bagget with whatever is at hand.
44:37Oh, I see beads.
44:43I see something in the mouth of my nose.
44:46There's some beads on my nose.
44:47How's that look?
44:48Does that look good?
44:54Blah.
44:55Look, the beads are not supposed to go in the mouth.
44:57Oh, I got another hat.
44:59What else you got?
45:00This is what we in the industry call hat on a hat.
45:03Oh, my hat.
45:06Oh, my hats.
45:15There you are.
45:16Oh, another hat.
45:17Okay, I think that's it.
45:19It was amazing.
45:20I love that.
45:22It was the funnest you ever had.
45:23It's almost the funnest I've ever had.
45:27I don't have that money.
45:32I don't have that money.
45:32All right.
