00:03as impressive a win as you're going to get
00:04against a really good Lions team.
00:07I think going into Thursday night,
00:09this kind of will determine if they win the division or not,
00:11although San Francisco is still right on the outside looking in.
00:15Very impressive on the ground, Vinny.
00:17This is a team now that's using two running backs
00:19with both Kyron Williams and Blake Corum
00:22to go along with that great offense that they have already.
00:25I mean, it's fair to say,
00:26if they don't look like the best team in the NFL at this point, Vinny,
00:29they're definitely the best team in the NFC.
00:32Yeah, I mean, they had a hiccup against the Panthers
00:34just a couple weeks ago, but every team has a bad game,
00:38and they were still rather competitive in that,
00:40and it looked iffy at the beginning with Matthew Stafford
00:43during that big interception that was returned.
00:46And you thought, okay, here we go.
00:47The Lions can keep up with them,
00:49but the Lions' defense, just very injury depleted at this point.
00:52They don't have a lot to stop anything on the back end.
00:55Last year, they kind of were able to overcome that
00:58because they were just outscoring teams.
01:00But now they're facing some better offenses
01:02that can outscore them, and that's what's happened here.
01:05So I think this is the reason the Lions are fading out of the playoffs.
01:08They might beat the Steelers this week
01:10to kind of save what's going on here.
01:12But the Packers, even with their loss,
01:15are still well ahead of the Lions for that last wild card spot,
01:18and the Bears also won.
01:20So it looks like we might see a Detroit free playoff
01:22as well as Kansas City.
