00:23Okay. So, what does it mean for you tonight to be here at the Gen Next Awards and be giving the keynote speech?

00:32Oh my gosh, it's amazing. I can't even believe that they would even want me to speak.

00:36So, I'm super excited to tell my story and explain my journey with Venus A. Fleur.

00:42And tell me, you are a, not just a businesswoman, you are the creator of a company.

00:49I mean, tell me just a little bit, give a little advice about how you made this happen for yourself.

00:55Was this always your plan?

00:56I mean, I worked with my parents at their family business.

01:00So, I had this entrepreneurial, like, blood, I would say.

01:04So, I've always wanted to create something. I've been creative my entire life.

01:08So, yeah, I think it was just my calling.

01:10And, first, if you could go back and say anything to your 15-year-old self or, like, 10-year-old self, what would you tell her?

01:21Stay positive. Everything will work out. And dream big.

01:27And for women who want to start their own businesses, what would you tell them?

01:32What would you, you know, what advice would you give them, especially when there's men who are, you know, stomping them down?

01:38Don't doubt yourself. Take out the naysayers out of your life.

01:44Take out toxic people and focus. Like, if you have a dream, go for it and believe in yourself.

01:50Really, I know it's kind of cliche, but it's true.

01:53If you really believe in your dreams, they will come true.

01:56I love that. And why do you think there need to be more women leaders?

02:01Because women do it all. We can handle everything. We're the best of everything.

02:05So get on the road and create your own businesses because look at the women out there right now in business.

02:11They're taking it by storm. And some of the most successful companies are owned by women now.

02:15Absolutely. And so why flowers? Why this business? What drew you to it?

02:21I've always loved flowers. I've always loved receiving flowers. I love having them in my home.

02:26So it's amazing. My business makes me happy every day. I get to work with something that makes people happy.

02:34So I don't know. I think, yeah, yeah.
