A tahfiz student was killed after the vehicle he was driving collided with a lorry carrying palm oil at KM60 of Jalan Pekan-Rompin near Kampung Merchong on Saturday (Dec 13).

Pekan police chief Supt Mohd Zaidi Mat Zin said the accident occurred at about 11pm, resulting in the death of Muhammad Fakhri Waqiuddin Basri, 22, from Indera Mahkota, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

00:00A Tafi student was killed after his car collided with a palm oil laden lorry at
00:06kilometer 60 of Jalan Pekan Rompin near Kampung Mechong on Saturday.
