A local female driver and a toddler lost their lives following a collision involving their car and two pick-up trucks in Ulu Tiram, Johor. 00:00A 58-year-old woman and a one-year-old boy were killed in a road collision involving their car

00:07and two pickup trucks in Ulu-Tiram on Thursday.

00:11Seri Alam District Police Chief ACP Mohamed Sohaimi Ishaq said the accident occurred at Jalan Bestari at 3 p.m.

00:19The woman was heading towards Ulu-Tiram town with four passengers when she turned right at the site of the incident.

00:25A 23-year-old driver of a pickup truck coming from the opposite direction could not avoid the vehicle and hit its right side.

00:34The impact caused the car to spin before another pickup truck coming from Ulu-Tebrau rammed into its rear.

00:41The woman, who was trapped in the vehicle, suffered serious head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

00:48The toddler sustained head injuries and passed away while being treated at Sultan Ismail Hospital in Johor Bahru.

00:55Two women, aged 83 and 62, along with a three-year-old boy, who are family members of the female driver, are being treated for serious injuries.

01:06Mohamed Sohaimi said the driver of the first pickup truck sustained minor injuries while the other driver escaped unhurt.
