00:00On Media Miss Minute today, the Pentagon could soon be required to answer a big question.
00:05Is the United States actually prepared for a major war?
00:09And President Trump is blasting the New York Times, accusing it of sedition and even treason
00:15over reporting on his health.
00:20I'm Craig DeGrelli.
00:21In today's Media Miss Minute, we're spotlighting two stories that have slipped through the
00:25cracks of partisan coverage, starting with what much of the left is missing.
00:30The Pentagon may soon be required to draft a plan to rebuild U.S. munitions stockpiles
00:36to levels needed for multiple simultaneous major conflicts.
00:40The requirement is part of the National Defense Authorization Act for 2026, which passed the
00:46House this week and is now headed to the Senate, with a vote expected by year's end.
00:51If approved, the bill would force the Department of Defense to assess how long American forces
00:56could fight on multiple fronts before ammunition runs low, and how quickly those stockpiles could
01:02be rebuilt.
01:03Now to what much of the right is missing.
01:06President Trump is taking aim at the New York Times after it published an op-ed examining
01:10signs of fatigue and aging during his time in office.
01:14The piece, titled Shorter Days, Signs of Fatigue, Trump Faces Realities of Aging in Office, points
01:20to visible bruising, moments of apparent drowsiness during televised meetings, and one instance
01:26where the president's face appeared to droop.
01:29Trump responded by calling the reporting seditious and suggesting it could even be treasonous.
