00:00We had a very unfortunate decision in the Supreme Court concerning birthright.
00:04It was close, but a very, very unfortunate decision.
00:08So we're making adjustments because it's very unfair.
00:13This was done for a different reason.
00:15This was done right after the Civil War.
00:18This was for the babies of slaves.
00:22And what's happening now, people are building businesses around it from wealthy people are
00:28building businesses around birthright citizenship.
00:30That's not the way it's supposed to work.
00:32It's a disgrace.
00:33They're buying their way in, and we're not going to let it happen.
00:37The president is using his authority as commander-in-chief to sign first an executive order using the
00:43new ruling the Supreme Court issued to expand the definitions of people who are ineligible
00:48for birthright citizenship.
00:49That includes, for example, alien enemies of the United States, members of foreign terrorist
00:54organizations and large categories of people who lobby and act on behalf of foreign governments.
01:00And so with taking this action, it ensures that large numbers of people who wrongly would
01:05be getting birthright citizenship will no longer be eligible for those benefits.
01:09The second action that he's taking, which is especially historic, is for the first time
01:15ever in American history to ban birth tourism.
01:19So I want you to really let that sink in.
01:22This has been something that people have talked about not only for years, but for decades.
01:26So that practice of birth tourism is, as of the signing of this order, hereby banned.
01:33And what that means is that no one in the world is any more allowed to obtain a visa for
01:40this
01:41fraudulent purpose.
01:42So that's what I want to do.
01:42So that's what I want to do.
01:42Let's go.
