00:00On Media Miss Minute today, the Pentagon could soon be required to answer a big question.
00:05Is the United States actually prepared for a major war?
00:08And President Trump is blasting the New York Times,
00:12accusing it of sedition and even treason over reporting on his health.
00:19I'm Craig DeGrelli.
00:21In today's Media Miss Minute, we're spotlighting two stories
00:24that have slipped through the cracks of partisan coverage,
00:27starting with what much of the left is missing.
00:30The Pentagon may soon be required to draft a plan to rebuild U.S. munition stockpiles
00:36to levels needed for multiple simultaneous major conflicts.
00:41The requirement is part of the National Defense Authorization Act for 2026,
00:45which passed the House this week and is now headed to the Senate,
00:49with a vote expected by year's end.
00:51If approved, the bill would force the Department of Defense
00:53to assess how long American forces could fight on multiple fronts
00:58before ammunition runs low, and how quickly those stockpiles could be rebuilt.
01:03Now to what much of the right is missing.
01:05President Trump is taking aim at the New York Times after it published an op-ed
01:10examining signs of fatigue and aging during his time in office.
01:14The piece, titled Shorter Days, Signs of Fatigue, Trump Faces Realities of Aging in Office,
01:20points to visible bruising, moments of apparent drowsiness during televised meetings,
01:25and one instance where the president's face appeared to droop.
01:28Trump responded by calling the reporting seditious and suggesting it could even be treasonous.
