00:16set up because I haven't played remotely so long since and probably because I went to

01:2812 eventually comes out I held out until Windows 10 lost its support oh it was gonna lose its support
01:40like the last day is how long I kept my laptop on Windows 10 so like the first two weeks I was on
01:51Windows 11 I'm like I never had now I've used Windows a long time back like the Windows 3.1 that was that
02:06came out before Windows 95 I used that I don't think I've actually used Windows 95 at least at home but
02:13I know my grandfather had it back then uh and I don't remember him having any problems with Windows 95
02:21but I've done that I've used that I think I've used XP and Vista but I don't think I've used 7 or 8
02:29and then I used 10 oh my god I would have rather gone back to any version of Windows not just 10 when I when
02:41Windows 11 is like the most on or at least it was the most unresponsive thing for like the next two
02:52weeks every time I use my computer I want I want to pull my hair out when using Windows 11 and I'm not
03:00saying any of this you know trying to embellish or anything that's just how I felt as someone
03:06who's used Windows basically all his life unfortunately it fits Windows model seeing how the Xbox division is
03:20handled looks like they're basically uh it looks like they're the same idiots that make decisions for
03:32Xbox make decisions about the rest of the company maybe not Phil Spencer per se but
03:36yeah if it's somewhat different it's not anyone smarter I'll say that
03:43um yeah so
03:54yeah that was my first couple weeks uh using Windows um 11
04:10but it was just a hassle getting this set up again I haven't I haven't streamed gameplay in a long
04:31time um I am going to start using my twitch again for longer style games but games that will like beat
04:38them up that's like 30 40 minutes it's going to be a pre-recorded video
04:42it'd be a shame if I didn't talk about Streets of Rage

04:59um just is there anything else I want to say about Windows first
05:05I think I covered all the bases um my laptop is running operational now

05:11you could even say part of it was my fault because
05:17I the whole time I had Windows 10 I wasn't getting a I wasn't doing why would I get 11 uh Windows 11
05:25updates any updates that came in for 10 yeah download them while I went to sleep let the laptop install them
05:32while I was asleep you know and it's did its thing
05:39but I also needed updates when I just switched to 11 and without the updates
05:49like I said borderline barely operational
05:51and this isn't some I guess I'm going to continue talking about Windows just because
05:59it's on my mind I don't know if uh
06:07you would you would expect a company like Windows that's been around since like the
06:11early 90s as far as I know it's probably been around longer than that but at least since the
06:15early 90s because like I said Windows 95 was their second um operating system
06:23you would expect a company that's been around that's almost as me you'd expect them to work
06:32or know how to work this isn't some startup company that released their first operating system
06:37but
06:45anyway those were my frustrations trying to get Windows 11 to work um it does now um
06:54but um other reasons besides just like the stability of the system that I don't like Windows 11. um
07:08one is the uh
07:13well first off they got rid of wordpad and that's what I use most of the time I use it a whole lot more
07:19than notepad now notepad stayed free but if you want something like wordpad you had to pay for a microsoft office subscription
07:34and like everything I have on my laptop that's a document is a wordpad it's very few things are notepad
07:43but so what I did because I didn't pay for a Windows office subscription I did find a doc I did find something like Libra word I think it's called
08:02and that um I was able to download it for free and not only does it let you do word processing documents like wordpad it also lets you do spreadsheets like excel
08:13but you don't have to pay for excel um you don't have to pay for to do spreadsheets in Libra word so
08:31so I don't like that uh they got rid of Xbox console companion now I have to use
08:37Xbox itself uh the program if I want to stream gameplay from my Xbox one to my uh laptop
08:50um so that's that that was a pain in the ass
08:54okay I might actually beat this tonight because I never changed the difficulty I did tonight but I
09:09didn't expect it to be this easy I guess or maybe just because I played on normal so long
09:15but speaking about the game
09:27I'm
09:29this might be just uh like a familiarity thing
09:35but I'm a bigger fan of Final Fight
09:38now I never played two or three so two or three are not that good
09:42I've never played them the only ones I played are Final Fight and Final Fight CD
09:51and I'll say Final Fight CD is one of the reasons to get an old Sega CD
09:58because you get all three playable characters in the CD version you get two player co-op in the Sega CD version

10:12yeah so but like I but growing up I never well I had a Sega Genesis
10:18my but my it was like my Super Nintendo games had like I had 30 of them and my Sega Genesis I had like 10 of them
10:25just I preferred Super Nintendo if a game was multi-platform
10:29so I had Sega for like I think hockey
10:33uh Wayne Gretzky's 3D hockey I had Sonic Hedgehog 2 obviously

10:39what else did I have for Sega Genesis viewers and butthead on Sega Genesis instead of Super Nintendo

10:49Animaniacs
10:51um
10:56I'm trying to think
10:59and that was pretty much it that's all I can remember
11:01oh NBA Jam Tournament Edition how can I forget that

11:10but yeah uh back to the Final Fight CD uh like I said you get all three players
11:29Guy, Cody, Haggar you get two-player co-op and more enemies appear in a two-player game than a one-player game

11:39they don't have the uh
11:43they have the female hench hench women uh poison and I forget I think the other one was named Roxy
11:50uh they have those because they were taken out of the Super Nintendo version and changed

12:04oh I just see see how little else I have
12:13so yeah if uh
12:14if anyone ever says like Sega CD doesn't have any good games Final Fight CD is one of them
12:22that is good
12:24that is good and worth getting the system for
12:26and honestly another Sega CD game that I'll um talk about um or at least recommend
12:43Sewer Shark the packing Sega CD game once you if you now I hated it as a kid
12:50but once you learn how to play it it's awesome
13:01just focusing right here so excuse my silence
13:15as for other Sega CD games just
13:17off top my head Sonic CD obviously
13:21can't go wrong with Sonic um
13:24on home consoles anyway
13:26at least not not at this point
13:29because then I'm the the first game that jumped in my head when I said you can't go wrong with
13:33Sonic on home consoles was Sonic 06 oh yes you can go on with Sonic 06 so
13:38I mean I never played it and I have absolutely no intention of ever playing it
13:47I never even owned it
13:54uh but let's see Sonic CD Sewer Shark what else would I recommend
14:01uh my Sega CD list is really short

14:11like I said when I had 10 Sega Genesis games growing up I had like five Sega CD
14:17and not even all of them I would recommend

14:25I guess Eternal Champions challenge from the dark side just because you get more characters than the
14:31Genesis version so if you like fighting games
14:37and like the deaths they had
14:41like I think if you killed the circus performer if you beat her on the side that had the lion cage
14:47she'd actually fall in the lion cage
14:49and the lion would be chopping its teeth at the end and blood would be coming out
14:53so
14:57I mean I want to say who shot Johnny Rock one of those gun games which I didn't know was a gun game
15:02but but makes sense why I was sucking so much with the controller
15:07um
15:07which you can play games like who shot Johnny Rock but it's just you're gonna die a lot until you
15:21until you uh
15:23memorize where enemies are gonna show up and then you gotta realize you just can't shoot the enemy anyway
15:29you gotta shoot the gun out of their hand
15:39but I wouldn't recommend who shot Johnny Rock um
15:46you could try it if you if you want it just out of curiosity but
15:51keep in mind it's unless you have the like gun
15:55peripheral it's gonna it's like playing a gun game but you're moving the controller the cursor with your controller so

21:01i wanted to stop what i wanted to do what i do now um in my spare time is but is the gaming news
21:11videos um you know i did one actually uh about the new jaws game coming out i do have one um
21:22ready to record about the red dead redemption update for i think 360 or three or xbox one
21:31i'm not uh there's an update coming out for red dead redemption the original
21:38um i think if if you purchased it digitally so
21:47but the thing is so he wanted so he wanted to stop and i said all right i'm gonna go into the
21:53gaming news videos that i do now um i don't think he understood me because like when i
22:01told him what i was gonna do instead because i didn't want to do a podcast um by myself
22:10uh that would that would have been a nightmare
22:15but what so i did the but i still wanted the segments like the gaming news um that i do now
22:23so uh dr games 101 made that video on on his youtube about us putting the podcast on hiatus
22:36and uh february 20th is the last time dr games 101 posted anything on his facebook and right before
22:46that he had post like uh in the i don't even know how many days apart these posts were but he had
22:54posted gameplay for him playing uh dante's inferno

23:04so february 20th was the last time he posted on anything on his facebook
23:15even with him doing gameplay and everything oh i thought that was the boss okay well i got one more um
23:21on march 10th and i didn't know this from until months afterwards because uh i didn't read what
23:32other people posted on dr games 101 facebook i just read what he posted
23:39um so i never heard from my birthday i figured he's just busy maybe he's found a job or a part-time job or
23:46something or you know maybe maybe he just hasn't been able to contact me and wish me a happy birthday
23:54and he always also gave me money when he had it like you know 15 20 dollars whatever it was um
24:06and he's also bought me a couple games oh so so that's it no continues just the lives okay
24:17so anyway i'm gonna uh finish oh the oil continues never mind
24:24that was that's weird i i'm not used to high score unless um it's so you know it's over
24:32so anyway um he hasn't posted since february 20th he never contacted me for birthday in april
24:39which is out of character that should have been my first clue something was wrong but
24:44uh 2025 has been a really bad year for me too um besides um
24:55besides uh losing dr games 101

25:04so i post so dr games 101 is completely silent on his facebook
25:09uh me and a bunch of people because like i said i didn't know he had passed away
25:15he uh we posted me and a bunch of his friends posted messages for his birthday
25:21at the end of august
25:25um
25:27and i was doing uh one i was doing a video
25:32about the sims 4's newest uh fiasco which was the imaginary friends that could turn into imaginary poltergeist

25:46and how these imaginary friends can't just be deleted
25:49and since me and dr games 101 wagged on the sims 4 for four and a half years
25:57every time they released an update
26:00um
26:02someone actually x
26:03uh
26:06i guess because i bought dr games 101 up in the video
26:09um as you know
26:12hey we used to make fun of the sims 4
26:15when they released an update on the podcast so
26:19so we'll do it
26:22um
26:23so i'll do it now
26:26that's when i read what other people had posted
26:30um on dr games 101 facebook
26:33and
26:34the message that i didn't
26:39how do you beat this enemy
26:41the message i didn't read someone posted on march 10th was a remembrance message
26:47basically saying
26:49uh wow i just heard what happened i didn't really know the guy i've seen him
26:54because we live in the same apartment complex a couple times
26:58rest in peace
27:00and when i saw that
27:02that's when it hit me like
27:05i'm never gonna see him i'm never gonna
27:08see or hear from dr games 101 again
27:10um
27:19so
27:22but you know what
27:24uh
27:26it did make me think of something
27:30the uh
27:32we did
27:34probably even more but we did at least like a 115 episodes of the podcast i don't talk to games 101
27:40miss one
27:42but uh
27:43dr games 101 patreon is free
27:46and you can get uh every podcast we did together
27:50like i said this
27:51there's that there's over a hundred uh episodes

27:57maybe even a few more that we did together
27:59and uh
28:02uh you can listen to them

28:19it just sucks because that's that's like the only time i'll hear

28:40and because of south park the stick of truth
28:43daily motion closed down my old account so like the videos of me and him playing like super mario brothers 3

28:54that's gone the video of us playing wwf raw on the xbox that's gone

29:06dr games 101 has some also
29:08um i think i still have the ones
29:11on youtube when we played like saints row four together

29:20it's still hard to talk about

29:38yeah so i mean we still got plenty of videos of us playing games together

29:49some we didn't just record sometimes we just played on xbox live
29:54like i think we were playing uh what was it halo
29:57i think halo the master chief collection we were playing the multiplayer map

30:25you know but like obviously the podcast never coming back
30:28i just really miss uh dr games 101 because he's the friend uh we known each other since junior high
30:38eighth grade uh we graduated high school same year 2005 and like he's one friend from school
30:46or was the one friend from school that i talked to the most you know a lot of friends sometimes when you grow up
30:54you just uh
30:57you just lose contact and it's not
31:00anything meant to happen it's just sometimes it does

31:03um you know a lot of friends i grew up with or even that i hung out in my adult life i don't talk to as much as i
31:12uh wish i wish i had the chance to um
31:15and just so anyway uh he was he's one that it's it's funny uh when i moved away from new york
31:29uh we actually became uh even uh
31:36even though we were a thousand miles apart it's like our friendship became stronger because we were
31:40always talking on xbox or or online somehow um
31:51and just
31:55yeah i don't i don't know how to finish that just to
31:59you know obviously uh i've watched some of dr games 101's update videos uh like especially the
32:05last one when we decided to call it quits on the podcast

32:18he he left it open-ended like yeah you know the podcast isn't going away forever we'll bring it
32:23back eventually well now that's not going to happen um

32:34and like i said since he was one of the friends i was closest with because we talked all the time
32:45you know it all i can say is it still hurts uh
32:50uh but also like i said i didn't know he was i didn't know what happened until months later

34:13oh also another difference between the super nintendo version and the sega cd version
34:19first off sega cd has a survival mode if you just want to see how many guys you can beat up before
34:23you lose all your health uh that's exclusive to the sega cd version also on the sega cd version of
34:30final fight called final fight cd um the options menu is right there on the title screen
34:39uh the same option menu is in the super nintendo but you have to know the code for the super nintendo
34:44port to access the option menu
34:58but i've never beaten final fight the first one at all i've come close with haggard
35:17i always chose guy or cody when i was younger but like i realized haggard yeah he's slower but
35:24he's more powerful so he packs more of a punch he packs his his moves have a bigger impact on enemies
35:38so that's
35:42but i've never i've never beaten final fight uh
35:49but to be fair i've never beaten streets of rage but this might be the first night

41:33So, yes, like I said, some games I'm restarting from scratch, some I won't.
41:40As I play those games on stream, I'll make decisions as I introduce them.
41:52And I really don't have a schedule.

43:54Does Streets of Rage have, like, any level restrictions for easier levels?
44:19Like, Double Dragon 2, the Revenge on Nintendo, you had to play on the hardest difficulty if you wanted to play all the levels, because, like, the normal difficulty, I think it left out, like, the last two, and the easiest difficulty, I don't have any more special text, the easiest difficulty was just the first three.
