00:00Four research persons, Curly Deskaya, J.P. Mendoza, Henry Alcantara, and Bryce Hernandez are spending Christmas behind bars after being cited in contempt by the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee over the Flood Control Project probe.
00:14Senate President Vicente Soto III said they won't be released until the committee finishes its hearings with Supreme Court rulings backing the Senate's authority.
00:23Senate President pro tempore Pantlo Lachson added the investigation is still very much ongoing with some recommendations already sent to the DOJ and the Independent Commission for Infrastructure, ICI.
00:36More charges could follow once the committee wraps up its full report showing the Senate is leaving no stone unturned and holding officials accountable.
