00:00The schedule of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is tight this week.

00:04Let's go back to it.

00:08On Monday, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. signed a binding term sheet

00:14between Synergy Grid and Development Philippines Inc. and Maharlika Investment Corporation.

00:20The agreement is that the MICs will get 20% of the SGP through the government

00:27to be a part of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines or NGCP.

00:32The MIC, which is responsible for the administration of the Sovereign Wealth Fund of the Philippines,

00:37will invest in the preferred shares of the SGP, which has 40.2% of the ownership of the NGCP,

00:44along with the agreement to give two board seats to the MIC, the SGP, and the NGCP.

00:50According to the MIC, this investment will protect the country's electricity supply

00:55and will continue to provide reliable and reliable electricity for every Filipino.

01:01On Tuesday, the President helped the Department of National Defense and other Cabinet members,

01:06as well as the Department of Finance, Department of Budget and Management,

01:10Presidential Communications Office, Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs,

01:16Frederick Goh, and other government officials.

01:52the Executive Board of the JobStreetCareerCon 2025 appointed the important role of legal professionals

01:56in strengthening the justice system in the country.

02:00The Executive Board of the JobStreetCareerCon 2025 also gave them the responsibility

02:03to be fair and adapt to the changing times.

02:06The Executive Board of the JobStreetCareerCon 2025 also won in the gathering led by all the governors in Visayas.

02:11The President emphasized the importance of the assistance of the local and national government for the development.

02:17Again, the Chief Executive gave the commitment of the government

02:21to support the major infrastructure projects in the province of Cebu

02:25to strengthen the connectivity and economic activities in the area.

02:30The President also led the inauguration of the Mactan-Cebu International Airport Parallel Runway in Lapulapu City.

02:37According to the President, the 2.56-kilometer infrastructure project was designed

02:42to meet the increasing traffic demand and accommodate the large number of passengers and cargo.

02:48The President also added that this project is part of a broader vision to improve the infrastructure in the country.

02:55He also led the meeting with the Regional Development Council of Central Visayas.

03:00This is where the main infrastructure initiatives related to transportation and urban connectivity are discussed.

03:07This Friday, the President held a farewell call

03:10to the outgoing United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in the Philippines, Gustavo Gonzalez.

03:17The President acknowledged Gonzalez's contributions to strengthen the relationship between the Philippines and the UN,

03:24especially in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic and its support to the Moro Autonomous Region in Moslem, Mindanao.

03:31The President also greeted more than 600 graduates of the Development Academy of the Philippines

03:37and asked them to be the pioneers in transparency and good service for the well-being of the people of the country.

03:46He also asked them to be united with the government

03:49for fast service, opening the red tape, and improving the bureaucratic processes.

03:55The Philippine Federal Party was once again helped by the Executive Board

03:59before the formal start of the campaign period for the Haton ng Bayan 2025.

04:04As the National Chairman of the party, the President reminded the members of the PFP

04:10to remain focused on the goal of bringing change to the country and to the lives of Filipinos.
