00:00OK, now that's if it's a what if they lose by more than a touchdown, which is a lot in the NFL.
00:06What if they lose by more than a touchdown? Are you do you worry? Do you start to worry?
00:13Like you said that, like, you know how you would feel if they lost the game at all.
00:16But if they if Buffalo kind of rolls them, you know, it's decided halfway through the fourth quarter.
00:23You haven't seen that this year. Right. Would that be concerning to you?
00:28I think so. And I think you'd start to, you know, the conversation, the conversations would shift in terms of are they the best team in the AFC?
00:35Are they the best team in the NFL? You know, nationally, even now, a lot of these places have started to give the Patriots a lot of credit.
00:42And so does that pop their balloon? You know, if they were to lose by seven or more, do you start to look at it and say,
00:49see, this this team was the fraudulent team that a lot of people thought it was, you know,
00:54weeks ago when they were ripping off wins against, you know, the Browns and the Saints and the Titans.
00:58I get and I get the hesitancy to give them, you know, accolade after accolade, even now, after after the win streak and the record,
01:07because it is it doesn't jump off the screen at you.
01:11You know, it's it's consistent performances from both the offense and the defense.
01:16Drake may has had some plays, you know, for sure that that should be eye popping.
01:21But for the most part, there's not that they don't have a bunch of marquee moments.
01:27And until a few weeks ago, I wouldn't even say that that marquee player that that stood out above all others to say,
01:34well, obviously, he is the best or one of the best of the position.
01:38They've been doing it not in a boring way, but in such a consistent way that I think people have been slow to give them a ton of credit.
01:46The efficiency they have exhibited against some of these less than opponents has been has been kind of monotonous.
01:54You're right. Yeah. I mean, they every single week they score 23 points or more every single week.
01:59They allow 23 or less.
02:01They have not really trailed since that Buffalo game in any of the second halves they've played.
02:09So I believe that's the last time they trailed in in the second half was in the third quarter in Buffalo, which was week five.
02:17So they they have, I think, to their credit, right, they've avoided a lot of those moments or a lot of those situations that would provide those marquee moments that you're talking about.
02:27Where's the comeback win? Where's that last second play that everybody remembers and says, wow, this this really does feel like a special team.
02:34No, they've just been it's been a monotonous slog of of success.
02:40Yeah. Right. Over the course of the last however many months.
