00:30So I'm appealing to doctors now to vote for this deal. It deals with the dispute on jobs and on pay. Although I've been consistent and honest, we can't afford to do more this year than the 28.9% pay rise that doctors have already had from this government.
00:51What we will do is put some more money back in their pockets by cancelling a number of fees that only resident doctors are subjected to in terms of things like exam fees and portfolio fees, some of which will be backdated to early this year.
01:03So this is a good deal for doctors and it offers us a chance to end strikes before Christmas and start the new year on a new page.
