00:00Evie and Doug are still a thing in Descendants 2. They're very sweet.

00:04They have kind of become almost business partners. Evie has a booming fashion design,

00:09a fashion line that's called Evie's Four Hearts, and Doug is kind of helping her with the numbers

00:13and all of that, and they're very sweet, very sweet.

00:17You and Dove perform three songs, I believe, for this?

00:20We perform...yeah, I think together we perform three songs, and we have one duet together.

00:26How was that experience?

00:28It's amazing. You know, as a singer, I feel so lucky to be able to be a part of a project

00:32that allows me to sing and dance and act. And, you know, Dove and I have a really beautiful duet

00:37that's called Space Between that is my favorite moment in the film and my favorite musical number,

00:42so I'm really excited for that.

00:43How have you grown from Descendants 1 to Descendants 2?

00:47Myself or Evie? Myself? Oh, that's a good question. You know, my life completely changed 360 degrees.

00:55It was my first film, so it just launched my career. I was able to, you know, start my music career.

01:00I've been in, I think, five films since the first one, so it's been a whirlwind, and I get to do what I love every single day.

01:06So I think I've done a lot of growing up. I've learned a lot about myself and learn every day just to keep working hard

01:13and keep hopefully continuing to make my dreams come true.

01:18Can you tease anything about the new VKs?

01:20Yes. So the new villains in the film are really, they're really cool.

01:27They add a really cool edge and dimension to the film.

01:29Uma, who is our main villain, played by the incredibly talented Chyna, she is a really strong girl.

01:36And, which I kind of love that the villain is a girl, because it's all about really strong girls.

01:41She's the head of her gang. And then we have Harry and Gil, who are just the coolest characters.

01:46Harry is such a cool, dark character, and Gil just adds this incredible sense of comedy to the film that is much, it's just amazing.

01:55And what can you tell us about doing an iconic song?

01:58Yes.

01:59Little Mermaids, Kiss the Girl.

02:01That was so cool. When we were told that we were going to do a remix of Kiss the Girl, I was just thrilled.

02:07And for it to be all of us together, it's a really cool kind of like Rihanna meets Drake vibe. It's very cool.
