00:00Hello, who dat?
00:02Hello, Redneck, how are you?
00:05I ain't never had a bad day, you know that.
00:08Come on.
00:09I'm so excited to get to talk to you this morning.
00:13It's taken me a long time just to get over talking to you the last time.
00:18Such a pleasure.
00:19I run you, huh?
00:21Is that what happened? I ruined you?
00:24You ruined me.
00:26LaConsta took it.
00:27You know why? Do you know why?
00:28Because it was so wonderful that you, when my daughter Callie had mentioned me that I was there,
00:34you just made over and I just fell right into it.
00:39I just loved it.
00:40It was so exciting and it's exciting today.
00:44So, thank you.
00:46No, thank you.
00:47It was like a, I think it was just before Christmas or my birthday, but it was a, I think it was my birthday.
00:51It was an early Christmas present, early birthday present.
00:54And I was like, I've been a fan of yours, I mean, forever, forever.
01:00I mean, everything you do.
01:01And I think I told you, you know, loving somebody.
01:03I like my songs about whiskey, river, rain, trains.
01:06And loving somebody on a rainy night, that Dave Longin' song, it's like, oh, it's just.
01:11Get on my love train.
01:12Yeah.
01:13Yeah.
01:13So, let's do this.
01:14Let's tell folks about yourself.
01:16Introduce you properly.
01:18Tell folks who that way you at.
01:21Who's this and where am I at?
01:23This is LaCosta Tucker coming to New York via phone.
01:27My phone, and I was just in New York, and I'm a picture still.
01:31I know, you stood me up.
01:31We had a date.
01:32I got stood up.
01:33I'm so sorry.
01:34I was brokenhearted.
01:36I tell you.
01:36No, that's all right.
01:38Y'all were up here promoting Callie's last name, video premiere coming out and everything.
01:44So, yeah.
01:45Yes.
01:46I'd been up to New York, but it was such a pleasure to be with Callie and doing all that
01:52we were supposed to do.
01:54So much fun, and I'm really sorry that we didn't get to see you, but I don't believe we'll ever
02:01make that mistake again.
02:03It doesn't matter.
02:05Everything works out in the right way.
02:10Everything works out for a reason.
02:13Yeah.
02:13So, LaCosta Tucker, you've done it all, and I don't want to say reinvent yourself, but
02:20you're back on the charts.
02:23Well, it's just quite an endearing thing.
02:27It's just giving me new life, breathes a new breath into my body, you know, because I
02:33loved it then, and I love it even better now because when you're getting, you know, when
02:39you're just getting on up there, you know, everything becomes a pleasure and a treasure.
02:44So, I feel really lucky, you know, and this song that's come out has just, it's just taken
02:53off like a bullet, you know, and I appreciate it.
02:55Was this written a while ago and you just put it out, or where did it come from?
02:59No, it was, it's been a while since I recorded it, and I have to speak the truth.
03:06And so, the last recording that I had was four songs.
03:13So, I've really got three songs, four songs to release to the public, you know.
03:18So, but this was back then, and now it's now, and I thought, well, you know, I really, really
03:26would like to do this again.
03:27And they said, why don't we put it out?
03:29And my gosh, it's just taken off.
03:31It's just taken off.
03:32And they're saying such wonderful things.
03:35And I thought, is that, is that really about me?
03:40So, it's, it's, it's a breath of fresh air.
03:44It really is.
03:45It really is, you know.
03:47And I'm, like, again, I'm a little bit prejudiced because, like I said, so much of your music,
03:54you know, I've loved every bit of it.
03:57And, you know, the Tucker name is just one of those names that it doesn't matter.
04:02It seems like if that, if that's your moniker, you got, you can sing, you know.
04:08But it's, it's great having you and having had Callie on here.
04:12Let me do that.
04:13I want to play some music.
04:13I want to play, I want to play one of the songs that I think is probably, if not one of the best songs written or recorded.
04:28It's up there.
04:29And I'll tell you why.
04:31This is a song that you do.
04:33It's called Strong, Strong Wind.
04:35Oh, gosh.
04:37And it's, like, there's something special about that song.
04:43How did you come about recording that?
04:45Well, you know, it's always been up to me to find these songs.
04:50And that particular song was a long ago.
04:54And I was in a place that was very iffy, you know.
04:59We all get married and then, you know, certain things happen and, you know, just did.
05:04And I was in that place.
05:05And I really felt that way.
05:07So when I, when I find some songs that really hit home for me, I just have to, I have to record them.
05:14And if I sing that song now, it affects me so much even now that it's hard to get through it.
05:21But, yeah, it was a time in my life when I was pretty, you know, I was, I knew I wasn't in love.
05:28And I knew he wasn't in love with me anymore.
05:29This is my husband.
05:30And that probably makes it less than, but it did, it made a lot of sense to me to sing it.
05:38Because I sung that live even on the Ralph Emery show.
05:42And I hope you've seen that.
05:44Listen, I've seen you on Pop Goes the Country.
05:47And I've seen you on, you know, like Ralph Emery and so many other things.
05:52I do.
05:53I think that, I don't know.
05:55So it's, it's kind of hard to put into words because, like, so much of my life as a child revolved around music.
06:04It's, my father introduced me to great music from the, you know, the 40s and 50s, his era.
06:10You know, going up in the Bible Belt, country music was the thing.
06:13You know, we watched, we'd watch the Grand Ole Opry and Hee Haw.
06:17And so much of my life is impacted by artists like yourself, who I got to experience that with my dad, with my brothers.
06:26You know, he was a single father raising three boys.
06:29And it was our fellowship.
06:32And every time I listen to you, every time I talk to you, it's like going back to church.
06:37It's like going back home.
06:39It's like you bless my heart and my soul every time.
06:43Oh, my goodness.
06:44So that is a, that is a blessing in itself.
06:47You've, you've witnessed to millions of people.
06:50Well, let's do this.
06:52Let's do this, Ms. LaCosta.
06:53Let's bless some other hearts and souls and give this tune a play.
06:57And I'm going to put you on, you're going to hold on, all right?
06:59This is, this is LaCosta Tucker.
07:06Strong, strong win.
07:08Right here on the Gumbo Ya Ya Radio Show.
07:10Here again is our guest star, LaCosta, to sing a beautiful song.
07:17All the sails are flattened down, it's not a breath of wind.
07:30Looks like I've gone, lost myself again.
07:38Everything that I believe is turned around on me.
07:44Let me talk into myself, I'm still on the sea.
07:51It's going to take a strong, strong friend to make me believe that friends are not all gone.
08:11Oh, it's going to take a good, good love to make me care of girls.
08:22Somebody up there loves me.
08:26Send me a strong, strong way.
08:28Somewhere, someone's warm tonight, and love is being made.
08:49Somewhere a strong one's making it, one week, one phase.
08:54If I ever find my way to a world I used to know.
09:02And the wandering wind starts up again, just going to let it blow.
09:10It's going to take a strong, strong wind to blow me home.
09:16It's going to take a strong, strong wind to make me believe that friends are not all gone.
09:28Oh, it's going to take a good, good love to make me care of girls.
09:39If somebody up there loves me, send me a strong, strong wind.
09:47It's going to take a strong, strong wind to blow me home.
09:54It's going to take a strong, strong wind to make me believe that friends are not all gone.
10:05It's going to take a strong, strong, strong wind to make me care of girls.
10:15If somebody up there loves me, send me a strong, strong wind.
10:22If somebody up there loves me, send me a strong, strong wind.
10:34It's going to take a strong, strong wind to make me believe that friends are not all gone.
11:05I always get a good, strong, strong wind.
11:07Ms. LaCosta Tucker.
11:09Hey, handsome Jack, hopefully, let me know.
11:11We got this new phone system, Jack, so let me know if Ms. LaCosta sounds all right.
11:16I know I sound pretty, but let's just make sure she's all right, too.
11:19You know what I mean?
11:21Yeah.
11:21Thank you so much.
11:22So, listen, I want to go kind of through the life and times of LaCosta Tucker.
11:28You started out, I mean, are you a Texas girl, a Nashville girl, Georgia girl?
11:33No, I'm West Texas.
11:35West Texas.
11:36Yeah, up in the Plains area, close to Lovah, close to Hobbs, New Mexico, just right across
11:43the state line into West Texas.
11:48Born in Seminole, Texas in 1950.
11:51Everybody keeps saying 1951.
11:53I guess I should just keep it.
11:571961?
11:58No, 50.
12:00Yeah.
12:01Yeah, I'd do better.
12:02There we go.
12:04And then, I mean, how did the Nashville thing happen for you?
12:08I know you got a sister who sings.
12:11Yeah.
12:12How did that happen?
12:13Did it start out in Texas?
12:15Did one of you decide, or the other, let's go to Nashville?
12:20How did that whole thing go?
12:21It was a long, we were young.
12:24I was young.
12:26And the first time I ever appeared on the radio and wanted to sing was about four years old.
12:31And that was in Snyder, Texas.
12:33And I went and took part in that.
12:35And I sang a little song called, Oh, playmate, come out and play with me.
12:39And bring your dollies three.
12:42Climb up my apple tree.
12:44Oh, playmate, slide down my cellar door.
12:47And we'll be jolly friends forevermore.
12:52Man.
12:53And that was the beginning of me.
12:56And needless to say, I just kept growing.
12:58And I loved music.
12:59I'd buy every 45 from a particular restaurant.
13:05And the guy would come in there and change the songs on the jukebox.
13:09And I'd buy them all.
13:10And then I'd take them home and learn both sides.
13:12I was playing Jim Reeves, Don Gibson, all of them.
13:15And every time, every step I took toward growing up, I was singing.
13:21It was just amazing how I loved it.
13:24But my parents really loved country music, you know.
13:27I'm used to old Jimmy Rogers.
13:29I've met his daughter.
13:32You know, I've had all the basic wonderful people in country music.
13:38I've been around them at some point, you know.
13:41So the first record, when you first got signed, who?
13:46I was sitting, if you want to know where I was sitting,
13:48I was sitting in Billy Sherrill's office.
13:51He's us, big CEO of Columbia Records.
13:54I was sitting there by myself.
13:56And this gentleman walks in, big burly guy, Italian.
14:00He walks in.
14:01I was sitting over there, just quiet.
14:03And he saw me.
14:04He said, well, who are you?
14:05And I said, I'm a cost detective.
14:08And so he kind of walks in.
14:09He's got this big stogie.
14:10And he said, well, do you sing?
14:17And I was sitting there, and it was in a big producer's office.
14:21And he said, do you sing?
14:22I said, oh, yeah.
14:24I said, I sing.
14:25And he said, well, sing me a song.
14:29And so I just stood up, and I thought, well, I've got to do this right,
14:32so I'm going to stand up.
14:33And I was always singing songs, like, by Dean Martin.
14:38And I said, well, I'm going to sing you a song, Dean Martin.
14:41So he was an Italian, and I was, the planets were all in alignment.
14:45So I started singing, I don't want to be the one.
14:48Say I'm going to miss you.
14:51But I will.
14:53Oh, I will.
14:54You know, and it was just different for this Bond girl to stand up
14:59and start singing an Italian man's song, a big singer, you know.
15:06And I think it mattered to him, you know.
15:10And then he said, well, sing me another one.
15:12So I sang a country one.
15:13I thought, Dean Buck Owens, don't be angry.
15:16So I started singing it.
15:17And so he kind of gets – just sitting there, yeah.
15:25Now, was that before your sister got her a deal, or was that after?
15:29No, she'd gotten the one already, yeah, she did.
15:33It came out of Nevada.
15:35She met a lady here and signed the contract, you know.
15:40They came, and so that happened before I did.
15:44But a lot of things happened before she actually got that.
15:49But we just kept holding out for the goods, you know.
15:53And it seems like everything you do is kind of family-related, you know.
15:57Every time I see something, if you're not with your sister or with your niece
16:01or with your daughter, you know, it's the aunt with the niece.
16:05It's the daughter with the cousin.
16:08Yeah.
16:09So, I mean, there is like a fellowship amongst y'all that is really –
16:13Oh, yeah.
16:14It was wonderful to see and hear.
16:17I always wanted to do – you know, I always had people ask me,
16:20why don't y'all sing a song together?
16:23And I thought, well, hmm, I don't know why.
16:26I don't know why it is.
16:27Everybody's just busy going their own way, so.
16:30Well, y'all did one a while back.
16:31Y'all did Rings and Circles.
16:34Well, no.
16:35Well, she never has sung a song on a recording with me as far as –
16:40Now, we did the anthology.
16:43A gentleman that I knew in college, he came to Nashville and said,
16:47I'm going to try to do a mixture of your songs and your sisters.
16:52And I said, well, that's fine.
16:54So, he did that.
16:55And I don't know if it went very far, but it was kind of unique.
17:00And it was somebody trying to do something for us, you know.
17:04So – but that's about it.
17:06No, it's – you know what?
17:08It doesn't matter because, like, I – I typically forget that y'all are sisters
17:19because, you know, to me it's just two different – you're two different artists,
17:23two different careers, and, you know, I enjoy both of what y'all do a lot, you know.
17:30Oh, yeah.
17:31She's a legend.
17:32But, yeah, there's a –
17:32Whoever invented this deserves a race.
17:34Hang on, hang on.
17:35Oh, hush.
17:37Look at that.
17:38But, yeah, we'll have to get back to that because I want to touch on something.
17:42But this is what I want to do.
17:44We did a singer-songwriter session a while back, you know, last week.
17:47And I had A.J. Croce on.
17:50And A.J. Croce is the son of Jim Croce.
17:52And after 50 years, he – like you, he kind of got caught up in his own career.
17:57And instead of, like, you know, doing his father's music for 50 years, you know,
18:02his dad – you know, his anniversary of his death was –
18:052023, it was 50 years ago.
18:07Yeah.
18:07And so he ended up, you know, just being A.J.
18:09Croce.
18:10And then finally he's like, well, listen, you know, it's time for me to honor my father.
18:14And so it was great.
18:15I had him on the show.
18:17And you do – you have a version of I'll Have to Say I Love You in a song.
18:21And just hearing you sing that is like, she's singing to me.
18:25She's got to be singing to me.
18:27It's – I love – do you mind if I play that for folks?
18:30I'd love that because, you know, that's the reason why I asked to put that on that album.
18:35I love Jim Croce.
18:36And – well, I say it, Croce.
18:38Croce – or Croce – just had to do it.
18:43And he said, take it away.
18:43So we did it.
18:44And I'm proud.
18:46Proud.
18:47And I did it.
18:47So, ladies and gentlemen, y'all listen to this.
18:50I'm going to put Mr. Costa here.
18:54Let me bring this down.
18:55Well, I know it's kind of late.
19:18I hope I didn't wake you.
19:21But what I've got to say can't wait.
19:24I knew you'd understand.
19:29Cause every time I tried to tell you, the words just came out long.
19:36So I'll have to say I love you in a song.
19:44Yeah, I know it's kind of strange.
19:47But every time I'm near you, I just run out of things to say.
19:55I knew you'd understand.
19:57I knew you'd understand.
20:00Cause every time I tried to tell you, the words just came out long.
20:06So I'll have to say I love you in a song.
20:12Every time the time was right, all the words just came out long.
20:36Every time I tried to tell you, the words just came out long.
20:37Every time I tried to tell you, the words just came out long.
20:41So I'll have to say I love you in a song.
20:45Yeah, I know it's kind of late.
20:48I hope I didn't wake you.
20:49I hope I didn't wake you.
20:50I hope I didn't wake you.
20:51I hope I didn't wake you.
20:52I hope I didn't wake you.
20:53There was something that I just gotta say.
20:55I knew you'd understand.
20:57I knew you'd understand.
21:00Every time I tried to tell you, the words just came out long.
21:07So I'll have to say I love you in a song.
21:14So I'll have to say I love you in a song.
21:22We got this back up here.
21:31LaCosta Tucker, have to say I love you in a song.
21:35And we got Ms. LaCosta on the phone with us right now.
21:40And we're about to fix the internet here.
21:42So I have a track and I'm talking to Ms. LaCosta.
21:45And it's called Rings and Circles and it says that it's LaCosta and Tanya.
21:50And she's, Ms. LaCosta, you're saying that you don't ever recollect it.
21:57No, no.
21:58That's a shock to me.
22:00It's fine, you know.
22:02Hmm.
22:03Well, we'll have to give that a play in a little bit, but let's do this.
22:08The reason that we're here is because the woman behind the wheel is behind the mic today with us here.
22:17Ms. LaCosta.
22:19So this, you first put this out when?
22:24Well, I recorded in probably 91.
22:28So I've had it all this time.
22:31I had a wonderful friend come along and invest some money so I could record.
22:37He said, don't you think you could, it's after a long slack.
22:40A lot of things had happened.
22:41I'd had some devastation in my life so it kind of set me back.
22:45But he said, don't you think you could sing?
22:47And I said, oh yeah, this is Mr. Denny Heindel up in Dubois, Pennsylvania.
22:51Great friend.
22:52And he said, I said, yeah, I can sing better than ever.
22:55So he said, well, let's do it.
22:57So he came to Nashville and we got together with Roger Ball and he went to all the big publishing
23:08companies and said, I'm going to take La Costa in and I need some songs.
23:12So they showed him, but they didn't show him.
23:14They always have like the first down to the fourth drawer that they look for songs.
23:19Of course, I wasn't real current so they didn't give me the top drawers.
23:23You know, they gave me like a third drawer.
23:25And he brought it to me and we would have a meeting in the middle of Nashville.
23:32And he'd play the song and I'd say, hmm, I kind of like that.
23:36I kind of like that.
23:37Just keep that to the side.
23:38Or then he'd play another one and then I got four songs.
23:42And that's how, that's how I got one behind the wheel.
23:47Plus I got some more songs that became platinum that I recorded them and somebody,
23:54they pitched them to somebody else.
23:56So they got it because they had a recording contract and I didn't.
24:01So it was very devastating.
24:02It was very, it hurt bad, you know, because I thought I did a great job on it.
24:07But that's how I got, I got to moving behind the wheel.
24:11Because again, I, I internalize everything I hear.
24:16And if it's fitting me or it's, it strikes my fancy or it gives me peace or energy, whatever.
24:23I, you know, I'll, I'll record it.
24:25And that's, that's kind of like the way I do.
24:27You know, I guess everybody does it a different way.
24:29But I, if I fall in love with it, I want everybody else to hear me sing it.
24:33You know?
24:34Well, this is it.
24:35So that was me in life.
24:36You know?
24:37How about you be the DJ?
24:38I was the woman behind the wheel.
24:39You, you're going to, how about you?
24:40You want to be the DJ?
24:41You want to introduce yourself?
24:42Yeah.
24:43Introduce a song?
24:44Yeah.
24:45Tell people they're listening to the Gumbo Ya Ya radio show?
24:47Yeah.
24:48You're listening to the Gumbo Ya Ya radio show out of New York City.
24:57And what a town that is.
24:59And I want to sing you my latest song called Woman Behind the Wheel.
25:04It means a lot to me.
25:06And I hope it means a lot to you.
25:08Thank you so much.
25:09Thank you so much.
25:39Thank you so much.
25:40Thank you so much.
25:42Thank you so much.
25:45Running right on time
25:49There's a woman behind the wheel
25:51To drive the force
25:53The solid ground
25:55Yeah, there's a woman behind the wheel
25:59Behind the dreams
26:01To make this world
26:04Go around
26:08Go around
26:12She still believes in old-fashioned love
26:17With a 90s point of view
26:20It's care of home, sweetheart
26:25She does her own thing, too
26:28She holds it all together
26:32With her love, sweat, and tears
26:36Being everything to everyone
26:40There's a full-time career
26:43There's a woman behind the wheel
26:47To drive the force
26:49The solid ground
26:51Yeah, there's a woman behind the wheel
26:55Behind the dreams
26:57That makes me swerve
26:59Yeah, there's a woman behind the wheel
27:04To drive the force
27:06The solid ground
27:08Go around
27:09Yeah, there's a woman behind the wheel
27:17To drive the force
27:20The solid ground
27:21Yeah, there's a woman behind the wheel
27:25Behind the dreams
27:27That makes me swerve
27:29Go around
27:34Go around
27:40Go around
27:42All around
27:46That's so cool
27:59Alright, let me turn this down here, folks
28:01We got some background noise
28:03That background noise is redneck
28:05And Miss LaCosta
28:06Miss LaCosta, Chuck, a woman behind the wheel
28:10Yeah
28:11Thank you, man
28:12That's like a double hit
28:1390s now today
28:15And we're just chatting offline
28:17We're going to get into where you're at
28:18And what you're doing
28:19But it is official
28:22Voting is open, ladies and gentlemen
28:23Y'all can vote for Artist of the Month
28:26Miss LaCosta Tucker is up amongst it
28:29Oh my goodness
28:30Zachary Thomas Dydridge
28:32Billy Payne
28:33Brooke Falk
28:35State Line Saints
28:36Natasha James
28:37Sadie McClain
28:40LaCosta Tucker herself
28:42Mike Hernandez
28:43James Adkins
28:44And Stard Aslan
28:45So y'all can go Facebook and all that and vote
28:47And here's the thing
28:48Miss Callie Tucker was Artist of the Month
28:50Yeah
28:51So if Miss LaCosta
28:53Y'all
28:53If y'all vote for her
28:54It'll be the first time a mother-daughter duo
28:57Had ever
28:58Like I don't think two relatives have ever done it
29:01Now we only had one person ever
29:02Who was Artist of the Month twice
29:06And that was Miss Sherry Rowe
29:07And Sherry Rowe was the only two-time Artist of the Month
29:11And we got Billy Payne in there
29:15So Billy Payne could be
29:16It could be another first
29:19It could be
29:19If Billy Payne takes that honor
29:21He'd be the only other two-time Artist of the Month
29:24So
29:24Oh my goodness
29:25Where are you at Miss LaCosta?
29:27Are you touring?
29:27Are you doing shows with Callie?
29:29Or are you doing your own thing?
29:30What's going on?
29:31I'm here in Las Vegas
29:33And I'm just helping her along
29:37And you know we've been doing
29:39She's been doing all those
29:40The three music videos that she's made
29:42Along the way
29:43And I had a devastating accident happen to me
29:46So I've been trying to recover
29:48And go through PT as we speak
29:50But I'm doing better
29:52Trying to do better
29:53You know
29:54But every once in a while
29:58That I'm getting to a point
29:59She'll want me to come out
30:01And I did do two big casino shows
30:04That she appeared in
30:05That she headlined
30:06So I get up there
30:09And sing my little part
30:10And one of my songs
30:12Get on my love train
30:13And ride
30:13So that's been kind of neat
30:15And it's been kind of helpful
30:17To my
30:18Clearing my mind
30:22And getting me built back up again
30:24So I'm really enjoying that
30:26So that's why
30:27That's kind of crept out on me
30:29And come up
30:30And I started
30:31I said
30:32You know
30:32Somebody took a picture of me
30:34When we were filming
30:36Country Couture
30:37And driving that pink truck
30:39That I'm sitting in
30:40And I said
30:42Well
30:42If we release this song
30:44Why don't we use this picture
30:46So that's how that
30:47Really came to fruition
30:49And
30:50It's just been
30:51A wonderful thing
30:53In my life
30:54I'll tell you
30:54And I owe it all to the people
30:56That love this song
30:57And have loved my songs
30:59Prior
31:00It's
31:01You know
31:02People helping people
31:02And they certainly helped me
31:04Listen
31:04Anytime you want
31:05You pick up the phone
31:06And you holler at us
31:08About anything
31:09Alright
31:09Okay
31:10Anytime
31:10It's open mic
31:12Open phone policy
31:13For you
31:14That's for sure
31:14Miss Callie
31:15Same here
31:16And
31:17Listen
31:18And all of
31:19You know
31:19I'm going to back up
31:20A little bit
31:21I mean
31:22Layla
31:23And Callie
31:24And Miss Tanya
31:25And all of them
31:26I mean
31:26We've been following them
31:28Listening to their music
31:28You let them know
31:29They got a home here
31:30If they ever want to
31:31Join us for a chat
31:32You know
31:32I will
31:33Alright
31:34But don't
31:35Don't tell them
31:36You're first and foremost
31:37In my heart
31:37I don't want to upset
31:38Nobody
31:39Alright
31:39Well your
31:42Your listeners
31:43Have to just love you dearly
31:45You know what it is
31:46I'm fortunate
31:47That artists like yourself
31:49I mean it's your show
31:50I'm just the host
31:51So I'm fortunate
31:52That they tune in
31:53To hear y'all
31:54And I have a chance
31:55To be the one
31:56To bring you to them
31:58So I think
31:59They love y'all
32:00And I just
32:01I just
32:02Reap the rewards
32:04Of
32:04Of
32:05You know
32:06Your music
32:07And their love
32:08So I'm fortunate
32:09You know
32:10The country people
32:11It's been my basic saying
32:14That
32:14You know
32:15They'll say
32:15Well how you doing
32:16I'm doing great
32:17And I said
32:17You know
32:17I have something special
32:19And
32:20Having
32:21A
32:21Song
32:23And
32:23Traveled
32:24And got to do all that
32:25I said
32:26The country people
32:27Are what's keeping me alive
32:29Their kindness
32:30They'll
32:31They'll let you know
32:32They hang
32:33Through the tough
32:33And
32:35That's
32:35That's why
32:36I'm still here
32:37To tell you the truth
32:37So I have to tell you
32:39That
32:39It is the country people
32:41And the love
32:42That they show
32:42And they hang in
32:44And
32:44I'm
32:46I'm forever beholden
32:47And that's the God's truth
32:49Well anytime you want
32:50You do that
32:52Alright
32:52So I'm going to let you go
32:53I promise
32:54But this is what I'm going to do
32:55You make sure that
32:56Y'all are listening
32:57And tuning in
32:58I'm going to play
32:59Rings and Circles
33:00And it's dubbed as
33:01Tanya and LaCosta Tucker
33:03Okay
33:04So I'm going to play
33:06Rings and Circles
33:06And you listen to it
33:07And you let me know
33:08If we got to go fix
33:10The internet or not
33:11Because
33:11That's what it's saying
33:13When you look at
33:14Okay
33:15It's fine
33:16It's fine if it is that way
33:18Because I never knew it
33:19That's
33:19I learn something new
33:21Every day
33:21Don't we all
33:22I'm going to follow that up
33:23With Loving Somebody
33:24On A Rainy Night
33:25I love that song
33:26Oh yeah
33:27I mean like
33:28I'm mad at you
33:28Because I could play
33:30Best of My Love
33:32There's you know
33:33Love Train
33:34There's so much
33:34I just can't
33:35FCC won't let me do

33:59Chatting with him

34:28And again
34:29And the people
34:30Were wonderful
34:31They were so gracious
34:32And kind
34:33And so
34:33We'll remember that trip
34:35For a long time
34:36Because it was our first
34:37My daughter and I
34:38Callie
34:39And they just really
34:41Gave us the first class
34:42Treatment
34:42So thanks for that
34:44New York City
34:45We love you
34:47Hey tell Miss Callie

34:51Thank you so much
34:52My dear
34:53You are blessing
34:54Ladies and gentlemen
34:55Miss
34:55Miss LaCosta Tucker
34:57This is Rings and Circles
34:58Allegedly
34:59With Tanya
35:00Allegedly I guess
35:03But I'll take her
35:04Any day
35:04Yeah that'll be fine
35:05So y'all give this a listen
35:08Thank you Miss LaCosta
35:09I love you
35:10Thank you honey
35:11I love you too
35:12Bye bye
35:12Take a tiny stone
35:23And throw it into the sea
35:28And the rings and the circles
35:31That it leaves behind
35:33Will be your love
35:35Like you and me
35:37It started out with one little laugh
35:42But it's getting bigger
35:44Every day
35:46And if we're not careful
35:50Like the rings and the circles
35:52Our love's gonna fade away
35:55We've got to stop
36:00And take a hold of each other
36:05A hold of each other baby
36:08Cause we're not that far
36:10From saying goodbye
36:13We've got to stop
36:18And take a hold of each other
36:23Or do you think
36:27We have enough love left to try
36:31Just like a tiny stone
36:43We're drowning in a sea of lies
36:48And the rings and the circles
36:51That we're leaving behind
36:53Are gonna hurt us for the rest of our lives
36:57We've got to stop
37:01We've got to stop
37:01And take a hold of each other
37:06Hold of each other baby
37:08Cause we're not that far
37:11From saying goodbye
37:14We've got to stop
37:19And take a hold of each other
37:23Or do you think
37:29We have enough love left to try
37:32Or do you think
37:38We have enough love left to try
37:42We've got to stop
37:53Where the moon is changing faces
38:13Playing hide and seek with the clouds
38:16They're arranging nature's symphony
38:20As the concert calls go out
38:23Bringing lovers close together
38:26To hear a tin roof lullaby
38:29No, there ain't nothing
38:32Like a loving somebody
38:34On a rainy night
38:36It's an angel
38:39Lovers anthem
38:40In each celestial
38:42A waterfall
38:43It's a song
38:46That can't be sung
38:47That can be heard
38:49By one and all
38:51When that sweet romantic melody
38:54Is descending from the sky
38:57Lord, there ain't nothing
39:00Like a loving somebody
39:01On a rainy night
39:03So when it looks like the sky
39:07Is a falling
39:08And the world is growing dim
39:11Just take a shelter
39:13With your lover
39:15And your best friend
39:17And let it rain
39:20And let it rain
39:21Oh, there ain't nothing
39:25Like a loving somebody
39:43On a rainy night
39:45Yes, that moon is changing faces
39:50Playing hide and seek with the clouds
39:53We're arranging nature's symphony
39:57As the concert calls go out
40:00Bringing lovers close together
40:03To listen to a tin roof lullaby
40:06No, there ain't nothing
40:09Like a loving somebody
40:11On a rainy night
40:13So when it looks like the sky
40:16Is a falling
40:17And the world is growing dim
40:21Just take a shelter
40:23With your lover
40:24And your best friend
40:27And let it rain
40:29Oh, let it rain
40:32Oh, there ain't nothing
40:34Like a loving somebody
40:35On a rainy night
40:37Oh, no
40:39Ain't nothing
40:40Like a loving somebody
40:42On a rainy night
40:44No, no, no, no
40:45Ain't nothing
40:47Like a loving somebody
40:49On a rainy night
40:50Oh, no
40:52Oh, there ain't nothing
40:53Like a loving somebody
40:55On a rainy night
40:57No, no, no
40:58There ain't nothing
