00:00How are you? Happy Fashion Week. How's it going? Very good. Very, very good. I heard you say you

00:06turned 50 last year. You do not look 50 years old. What is your secret? What are you doing?

00:11I think, you know, just try to enjoy every day like it's your last day and stay active and sweat.

00:19Yeah, my father taught me that. He said try to sweat at least once a day and or at least,

00:24you know, get your heart rate up and it seems to be working out all right.

00:27I like that. I like that. In your 50th year, what would you say has been kind of the biggest lesson

00:31that you've learned? Obviously, you know, it's been a little tough at times.

00:35Yeah, I think to live in the moment, don't look too far ahead in the future. You know,

00:41I think every time there's a tragedy in my life and you always take for granted what's happening

00:48at the moment and then the tragedy hits and then the day after the tragedy, you already look back

00:52and go, man, the day before that I was just carefree. So now I just like this moment,

00:57this interview, just enjoy it, appreciate it, move on.

00:59I love that. I love that. And what are you most excited for tonight? Women in music.

01:04Well, Lizzo, of course. Why men great unless they got to be great. You know what I'm saying?

01:10100% that bitch. That's right.

01:12And then what music are you listening to lately? Are you liking anyone?

01:16You know, because I'm in pre-production on this film, I'm listening to a lot of score

01:21and compilation. We have our composers who's already written some stuff, so I like James

01:27Blake. I mean, I hate to say anybody specifically.

01:31Yes.

01:31Third Story. You know that group, Third Story? It's great. There's a lot of really interesting

01:37like musical compilations that I'm listening to as opposed to just vocals, so I'm really

01:42excited. Music's coming a long way right now, so.
