Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are returning to the Hunger Games. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the pair who starred as Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark in the original 'Hunger Games' films will reprise their roles in the forthcoming prequel movie 'The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping.'

00:24No details have been disclosed, but the pair will likely appear in a flash forward.

00:28Since the story takes place 24 years before the events in the first Hunger Games book-end film.

00:41Sunrise on the Reaping begins in Panem on the morning of the reaping for the 50th Hunger Games,

00:46which saw a young Haymitch Abernathy, played by Woody Harrelson in the original films, become the victor.

00:51Haymitch, of course, goes on to be Katniss and Peter's mentor.

00:54Lawrence and Hutcherson's most recent entry in the franchise was 2015's The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2,

01:01which ended with the pair married with children.

01:03As for their involvement in the new film, Lionsgate did not respond to a request for comment.
