00:00The federal government has approved RM200,000 in funding for Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Perempuan Pudu
00:08after the school's building project remained stalled for years.
00:13The Prime Minister's political secretary, Chan Mingkai, said such institutions cannot be left alone to struggle
00:18when public fundraising efforts fall short.
00:21Chan said many partially supported schools were required to be self-sustaining
00:25and often had to initiate their own donation drives to cover infrastructure costs
00:31as government assistance typically extended only to maintenance.
00:35So this type of school, they need to self-sustain collecting donations to build their own infrastructure.
00:45Government only taking care of the maintenance year rights.
00:49But sometimes when they need to build a new building,
00:52so the education, the department, their kind of maintenance is not enough to cover that kind of cost.
00:59So they initiate their own campaign for donation.
01:02But when we saw they need some of the top-up, since they were rejected for years,
01:07they still can't be able to collect enough money for that.
01:11So I think it's time for us to give a bit more, a little bit more donations
01:16so that they can finish their project.
01:17So as Madani government, for us, even though this is an SPK school,
01:23it's still an education centre for around this area.
01:27So I think it's our responsibility to help to make sure they're delivered.
01:31So after we receive their application and we approve 200,000 for this donation campaign
01:37so that they have enough funds to finish this new building.
01:41The 200,000 ringgit allocation will support the school's donation campaign
01:47to complete a new building that has been delayed since 2019.
01:52The school, established more than a century ago,
01:55had struggled to meet rising construction costs.
01:58The project, initially estimated at 3.2 million ringgit before the COVID-19 pandemic,
02:04now requires 4.5 million ringgit following cost escalations.
02:11So that has been great.
02:16I think that is where it is.
02:19For you to be able to see the의 built proto-19 safety Давайте,
02:20is going to be able to work on more than 5.7 million INScenes 산 sites like these.
02:22And going into a site of the Invquote Center,
02:23speed up a 20-9 million fever,
02:25go to do job Authority of invest in installments.
02:27The work thatcompense doesn't need to be able
02:28to mają in need for this community to make sure dibujes and Laravel don't throne,
02:30go to another university right?
02:31So aside from here I think wekt that the new building is the key space
02:34that we are able to do now work on in the building.

02:37I think that even though the Each student is notенное in total
