Early schooling aid to be disbursed earlier from next year, says Fadhlina

The Education Ministry has pledged to distribute the Early Schooling Aid (BAP) earlier starting next year.  Minister Fadhlina Sidek announced the move after delivering her New Year message to ministry staff on Friday (Jan 9), noting that the decision follows parents’ complaints about the aid being disbursed only during the first week of this year’s school term.  Fadhlina added that the Cabinet meeting will discuss expectations of a possible school bus fare increase.
