पुणे : श्रमिक चळवळीचे आधारस्तंभ आणि हमाल, रिक्षाचालक, बांधकाम मजूर यांचे संघटन करून त्यांच्या हक्कांसाठी लढणारे ज्येष्ठ समाजसेवक बाबा आढाव यांचं सोमवारी (8 डिसेंबर) वयाच्या 95व्या वर्षी निधन झालं.आज मंगळवारी (9 डिसेंबर) सकाळी 10 वाजल्यापासून त्यांचं पार्थिव चळवळीचं केंद्र असलेल्या पुण्यातील मार्केट यार्ड येथील हमाल भवन इथं अंत्यदर्शनासाठी ठेवण्यात येणार आहे. त्यानंतर सायंकाळी साडे पाच वाजता पुण्यातील वैकुंठ स्मशानभूमीत त्यांच्यावर कोणत्याही धार्मिक विधीशिवाय अंत्यसंस्कार केले जातील.बाबा आढाव हे श्रमिक चळवळीचं एक अत्यंत महत्वाचं व्यक्तिमत्त्व होतं. त्यांच्या अनेक चळवळी आणि आंदोलनं सर्वांना परिचित आहेत. बाबा हे नेहमीच आपल्या जवळ चाफ्याचं फूल ठेवत असत आणि ते प्रत्येक व्यक्तीला ते फूल देत असत. या चाफ्याच्या फुलांची आठवण बाबांसोबत चळवळीत 35 वर्षे काम करणाऱ्या नितीन पवार यांनी सांगितली आहे. यावेळी नितीन पवारांनी बाबा आढावांच्या अनेक आठवणींना उजाळा दिला.
